You're gonna spend at least an hour wandering through this place. Everything you can think of building-wise, they likely have. From joist hangars to building materials to nails and screws, they likely have it if you're willing to search.

Great place to find all kinds of things. Today I went for plywood, a drill attachment for cutting door and deadbolt holes, screws and I found a couple of other things that I can use. They are so helpful here and the prices are good. I encourage you to check them out before going to the big chain stores.

I stopped by K & G Building Materials & Salvage on a whim, not knowing what to expect, and was completely overwhelmed by the sheer size and variety of items. This place is packed with everything from new building materials to salvaged treasures, making it feel more like a warehouse-sized treasure hunt than a typical supply store. Every aisle seemed to hold something unexpected—doors, windows, hardware, tools, and even machinery. It’s easy to lose track of time just exploring. If you’re working on a project or just enjoy finding unique materials, this place is worth a visit. Just be ready to spend some time because there’s a lot to take in.

Just a junk yard. No prices on anything. And a trump flag over the counter.

If you can't find it.. they probably have it. You learn stuff just walking around that place. Don't wear your white shirt.. it is not Home Depot. Great place for rental property money savers. Worth the 45 minute drive. Will be back.

This place is awesome! I bought what I needed for my project at nearly half of what it would've cost me at Lowe's. The guys there are very helpful and knowledgeable! Whatever you need check with them first before spending more elsewhere.

Went to K&G last week in high hopes because I know they have EVERYTHING! When I asked the price of their busted and warped pallets I was told with a laugh that all pallets were $10 regardless of their condition. When I asked about a stack of 8' 2×4s, which were weathered, split, and warped I was told that they were the best deal on the yard for $4.75 a piece. When I inquired about a bulk price I was told that I could leave and look somewhere else - as the man walked from behind the front counter to spit his chew juice into the walkway - so I did (dodging the baccer juice lougie on my way out). Went to Facebook market and found 20 pallets in perfect condition for $3 a piece in Winston. With the $60 I spent I would've gotten 6 unusable pallets from K&G. As a grown man who has loved buying from and living in this community for 39 years I expected a little bit more from a business owner wanting to make money. But if there's one thing I've learned about being from Yadkin county, you never underestimate how highly people here think of their junk and how little they care about whether or not you buy it. What a joke.

Located just past or just before the Yadkin river bridge. It has razor wire and a fence around the front and sides for a reason, people are theves. Anyway, this company has a large variety of products ranging from plumbing, barrels, restaurant equipment, concrete bags, nails, screws, overall general construction material and remodeling items. Some of the items are in good shape and some are not, if you need a cheap smaller door this is the place, they will make you a new one as well and notch the doorknob and hinges if you ask. Dennis runs the place, not sure if he owns it or just rhe manager but never seen anyone else in charge but him and a few others that work there. They are pretty easy to get along with and will help you out if they can. They have a small bathroom and I mean small, the door barely gives you enough room to sit down and the place is pretty dirty but this is a salvage yard so keep that in mind.

Prices are higher than lowes and home depot for a salvage place picking up salvage loads at rock bottom prices they should be sued for false advertising they are not a salvage enterprise the are a full retail outlet charging super high prices

Could have bought carpet at lowes last night and saved myself time and gas money but i decided to go to kg salvage. Which not only did i find out carpet was more expensive than lowes and as u look at prices some things are over retail than most stores as a local business and small businesz i try to stay in my community. For a salvage company who picks up stuff at wholesale or under prices its a shame they charge the community more than lowes or home depot
