My favorite u pull it yard in the Goldsboro area. I’ll keep coming back here because of the $50 all you can carry Saturday’s. They don’t sweat the small stuff and nickel and dime you for everything little thing like all the other yards (bevells). You have my business as long as these fundamentals don’t change.
Called this place and they asked what part I needed I then answered all there questions then drove 45 min I walked in told them again what I was looking for and they told me they didn't have it. What a waist of my time.
I do like Young's salvage .. I wish they would post what days they have discounts because I don't mind pulling my own parts that way I can make sure I am getting what I need.... posting the days to get discounts is a good idea!!!!
Just bought a steering knuckle from them. Completely unusable. Bearing frozen and for good reason. It was rusted in place. I guess I learned the hard way to order from Amazon.
To respond to the owner: It is just over 54 miles round trip to your facility and not worth a second trip for an exchange on a part that, if worth using, should have been what was sold to begin with.
I have been doing business with them for over 25 years I have taken some of my personal vehicles to them. They have a wide selection of parts and vehicles available decent price. They've always been very polite and respectful will answer any questions or help in any way
Spoke to a gentleman regarding a question I had for a part that we had returned. He stated he “didn’t control that” and slammed the phone down to hangup on me. Blatant disrespect from this company. Will never use or recommend them to anyone.
They are very friendly and they know what they are doing I recommend anybody needs a part to go to Young and call Day I really friend and you got really good prices you need a pretty reasonable real reason for price
Went and bought on transmission for my 99 Camry price was good I'll let them pull it came with a 90-day warranty I'll let you know if the transmission is any good once I put it in. They found me one quick for a decent price at $350
A great place to "pick" parts for your vehicle. Bring your tools. The selection is vast! Affordable, and it's pretty cool, you never know what you'll see on your way to vehicle you're there for.
Called and they told us the part we were looking for was there and we pull it.. they said the part would be $ 20.00.. well we drove 1.5 hours away and turns out the car to pull it from didnt even have the drivers door for the part we needed.. then we were told to go back up front and they could pull the part from the other car they had up front. So we do then we are told there was no one there to pull it.. they were all on lunch. We asked if we could see the part first to make sure it was in good condition. They said no then told us we could not buy just the part we needed as we were told on the phone but that we would need to buy the entire door for $299.00. What a joke this place is.. I do NOT recommend them.. poor custoservice and lies!
I order an alternator and it when replacing the positive connector crumbled and called them about it. Was told yes come in with the receipt. I send my boyfriend they decided they weren't taking it back. What is a 30 day warranty for⁉. Either way I will not and don't recommend this company.
I don't have any complaints, you might want to be physically fit to walk the sand that make up the walkways, but who would be in a junkyard that isn't? You will get a good price on anything you get out of there to my knowledge. The fact that the vehicles are not placed in such a way, it could be difficult and to get certain parts off of the bottom.
Nice spacious yard with a good selection of vehicles. I personally think they are too eager to crush the vehicles for scrap because I have seen a lot of good parts going to waste? I still enjoy walking around looking!
The fellas there are some pretty good guys. No hassle and fair. Visited 3 times this week good prices. I'd recommend if your looking used parts for older vehicles.
I found a good selection. Many parts I can use and for the price on Saturdays, it's a heck of a bargain. I visited other salvage yards in Goldsboro but this 1 by far is the best. I won't even bother going anywhere else in Wayne or Johnston County.
Dont even waste your time! They dont keep their inventory up to date. Steve egde didnt even get out of his chair to talk to me, just yelled towards me from his back office. I drove way out of my way to get to them cause he told me he had the parts i needed then once i get there they couldnt find the parts
I purchased a motor from this company over one month ago , and I paid for the warranty to cover the motor parts for one year. I returned the core as they told me too. When my mechanic put the motor in my car some of the parts were damaged and I called back to the office ,and asked for the part to be replaced because I was told it was covered.
They sent me to Mike Jordan who told me that the external parts of the motor was not under the warranty but only the internal parts were covered. I explained to him that I was not told that when I purchased the motor he also said we tell customers to take all parts off the core before they return it. He said I will see what I can do give me your contact information this occurred on two separate occasions the second I asked for the upper manifold for 2004 Ford Taurus , Mike said I will see what I can do I put you at the top of the list. Once again I did not receive a phone call offering any assistance. I also had to come out of pocket with more money to replace the part I thought was covered.
I had good service before with smaller parts, but this expierence I've under gone in this month has been totally dishonest and untruthful on how this situation has been handled, I expected more from this company. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed you should explain to the customer what the warranty covers and does not cover up front Honesty is the best policy! God bless you!
My first time buying a 4.6 motor from them was bout a mouth ago an never was I informed about a extended warranty at all an didn't even know about it cause I never had to buy a motor from them or any one so I got the motor paid a guy $400 to put it in an $875 for motor got it in an it was bad so I called him an he told me they was nothing he can do cause I only had the parts only warranty but was never told about the other one so now I'm having to pay the guy again to put the other motor in which is wrong cause I never was told about it from the beginning. Bad for business
Bought a rim for my car from them not long ago, and they were very helpful. I was able to inspect the rim, and since they had more than one they said that if my tire didn't seal correctly to it then I could bring it back and try one of the others. I was allowed to leave to replace the rim and return after to get the $15 back on it's return. They even let me return it shortly after closing, which I greatly appreciated - considering I lived almost 2 hours from the location.
