They got to me within 30 minutes, which was great. Dennis was super friendly and helpful. Tested my battery first to try and save me the tow cost, and even recommended a mechanic.
I’m giving this company a 2 because on the tow truck driver. He picked my car up and dropped it off in the wrong place. He never called me and said he had dropped the car off or to hand me my keys. After waiting for an hour, I called them and the gentleman who answered (who displayed excellent customer service) told me the car had been dropped off already. After I told him I don’t see it he informed me it was left in the parking lot. I told him it couldn’t be left there because it can get towed, so he sent the driver back out. The driver arrived and never told me he was here. When I went out to speak with him, he was extremely rude and unprofessional. He was on a personal call the entire time. After he moved my car to the correct place, instead of handing me my keys he threw them in the glovebox and took off. I don’t like giving negatives reviews but this incident caused me to do so.
Kevin was prompt, professional, and kind when I required a tow. He arrived within the provided time frame and was very quick to get my truck loaded. I appreciate his help and would highly recommend One Direct Towing to anyone needing a tow in Cary!

I recently had to get my partner's car towed when the overheating warning lights came on, and One Direct Towing came through for us. They were dispatched via our GEICO towing coverage, and I was so impressed with their communication.

I was taking dinner to a friend after she'd had a rough day. When I left her house a few minutes later, my trusty '08 Mazda went "click click click" vs. cranking. I called Geico roadside assistance and by divine intervention, they had Amanda at One Direct contact me. She was thorough on the phone while on the way to me. Amanda determined the alternator AND the battery needed attention. For the first time since buying the car, it had to be towed. Amanda was wonderful and it turns out she and my mom are from the same county down South! We had great conversations. In a perfect world, IF I ever needed towing again, I'd contact Geico and beg for her and One Direct. I have a new alternator, a new battery, a lighter wallet and a great respect for tow truck companies. P.S. My friend that had the bad day ended up supporting ME, shared her meal and gave me a ride. I used the GEICO roadside assistance the comes with my insurance. They contacted One Direct Towing and gave them my location and other information. From then on One Direct kept in touch with me to let me know when they were arriving, which turned out to be less than a quarter of the time GEICO had estimated. Due to the lack of room to maneuver around my car and the brake being locked, the driver called for a smaller truck. It arrived in 15 minutes and the driver was able to hook up my car any safely tow it to the dealership. Both drivers were very courteous and competent. I’m very thankful for their quick response and persistence that got my car (and me!) to the dealership.
Amazing experience the driver was right on time delicate with my vehicle perfect haul and phenomenal customer service. Process are also the most reasonable I have seen in the discounting area. I want to say my driver name was Trina if I am incorrect please update in the response but was so pleasant.
Amanda was professional and friendly. She called me to let me know she was on the way but there was traffic and she might be a few minutes late. She was actually early. I would recommend this company to any of my friends and family members.
My vehicle and I was stuck at Walmart and I called one direct towing and she told me 15 to 20 minutes he was there in less then 15 minutes. He was very respectful and kind .I was upset about my car he said I will get it up and going quickly maam.He took his time helping me into the truck, he held the door opened and closed it for me the young man was just remarkable. Tire shop confirmed that this tow truck company damaged the bottom of my BMW. The manager refused to cover damages. Find another tow company.
Response to company: The insurance company never looked at my car. I have a mechanic looking at it now and said the undercarriage was completely destroyed by the tow truck driver. The metal where the covering was also bent. My car was not in that condition when I left it but was the condition when delivered to Discount Tire. Discount Tire stated that the tow truck driver struggled to get the car off of the tow. The undercarriage did not get damaged by sitting in a parking lot. Once again, this company refused to even look at my car or talk with Discount Tire. I am disappointed in Geico for using this company and will continue to post about this experience. It was completely unacceptable and the manager was rude.
Best experience I’ve had from a tow truck service through my insurance. He ensured my safety first and then got right to securing my vehicle for towing. It’s great to see people that have compassion in their work. I wanna thank him and this company for a safe drive in my getting my vehicle repaired.

My tow driver was very understanding and compassionate with my situation with a broken axle on our car (Fri Apr 11).. Took a lot of care in not additionally damaging our vehicle while towing it to the repair center. Helped us a 2nd time the next day to move our immobile car into repair shop bay. Came across as a very empathetic driver who cared about who he was helping during time of distress! And seemed to enjoy his job :-) THANK YOU!!

My insurance company called on my behalf. I had never heard of your company before. I was told they would be there within an hour. Within 5 minutes the driver picking up my car called with a time estimate, it was during rush hour traffic. He was there a few minutes before his time estimate. I went out and gave him my fob, he verified the address it was going to, he took pictures of my car to verify how he picked it up and my vehicle made it to the shop I had requested before the initial hour was up. He confirmed my vehicle had been delivered. Wonderful service, communication and faster than the time I was told! I would definitely recommend this company!!!
Jeremy towed my vehicle and he did an amazing job!!! I am very particular and protective over my truck so I was nervous but he was so patient and polite about it. He was able to get it loaded and unloaded safely. Also the response time was impeccable!! As soon as I requested the tow I received a call from Jeremy within 5 mins to pick up the vehicle and he even waited for me. Highly recommend One Direct Towing!
Had such an great experience with One Direct Towing yesterday! The driver (I think his name was Colin?) was ready to reach me much faster than I expected, and kept in touch to make sure I knew when he’d get there. He managed to get my stalled car out of a busy Target parking lot with minimal fuss! Then he gave me a lift to my car’s dealership, and we had a great chat along the way. All in all excellent service!!

I was headed south on the beltline and my car’s dashboard lit up. It said to stop my car and cut my engine off immediately! I called a tow truck whose name I was familiar with and was told it would take an hour and a half to two hours before they could send someone. I hung up. I called another tow truck. They said approximately an hour and a half also but they recommended another tow service to me. Long story short they recommended 1 Direct I called. The young lady came out hooked my car up and towed me to Apex she was so very friendly, kind, knowledgeable. It was a wonderful experience if having your car towed could be considered a wonderful experience. I have to admit I had never heard of 1 Direct. But now they’re saved in my favorites for any future emergencies. I have told my friends about your service. You are fast, reliable & friendly! Thanks again for helping me out.
