Was very patient with us and made sure the vehicle we were looking at was in the best shape. Even while busy made sure to update us on the progress of the vehicle loan and other parts of buying a used car. Explained the paperwork in great detail, didn't pressure us for options when we said we didn't want anything. Overall made sure we were getting exactly what was stated. Amazing service, great people with outstanding personalities.
Salesman Jay is very unprofessional. I witnessed him stand a literally have an argument with a customer who was interested in buying a vehicle. What happened to the customer being right? This situation made me question if this is how he treats all customers that stands on the car lot for 20 minutes and no one even acknowledges them standing on the lot. For those who have brought a car from them…. Better hope you never have an issue and have to deal with Jay because you will be dealt with aggressively.

Bought a vehicle here at the end of the year. It was a relatively quick and painless process. There is no haggle on pricing so don’t expect to negotiate, but pricing was fair so I can respect the policy. Everyone I worked with was friendly and helpful.
On Saturday December 27 Alex showed a 2020 Chevrolet Truck to my husband and I, allowing us to take it for a test drive alone. She answered all our questions quickly and accurately. Mr. Tommy continued making us feel completely at ease, closing the sale quickly and efficiently. Never have we had such a good vehicle purchasing experience before. If you are looking for a place to buy a car trust me when I tell you, this is the place to go. Here's my story, My son was in an accident (not his fault) and it totaled the vehicle. We needed one pretty quick. Im from Myrtle Beach SC area. I rented a car and drove to GA for a car only to find out the place was a crook, matter of fact, the rest of the day was a solid disaster and I ended up getting home at 1am, only to do it again the next day. This time we went to the Raleigh area and had multiple vehicles lined up to look at so we would be successful. Every single dealership we went to was a complete waste of time- sketchy and no other customers. When we drove into this dealership, Anchor Auto Outlet, I immediately felt at peace. I had no idea where it was or where I was at but I felt good about it. I was immediately greeted by Alex who made me realize I was definitely at the right spot. She was kind and patient but most importantly honest. There were multiple people in and out looking at vehicles, test driving and buying. A lot of parents with their kids as well. This confirmed their location was well known and reputable. The car we came to look at my son was not a fan of but surprisingly the prices on the other vehicles were so competitive we were able to look at, at least 30-40 vehicles within our price range. I had been all over the internet for DAYS so I was fully aware of the prices for what we were looking at. Their business is haggle free so what you see is what you pay. We took one car for a test drive and purchased it. It was a 2014 honda accord coupe with 100k miles, no accidents, few owners and out the door for around 13k. Goodluck finding a better deal somewhere else, let alone trusting you can make a 3 hour drive back in it. Since the purchase I have referred everyone I know personally looking for a vehicle to their dealership. After the purchase we met the owner for the paperwork and he was a pleasure to meet and get to know more about. He shared stories and let us know about the car we were buying- where it came from etc. Most places had all of their cars purchased from auctions and previously wrecked, with the mechanical part unknown. Our vehicle was a trade in and had a cvt transmission fluid change done at the proper mileage, no weird noises, smells, lights on the dash or smoke. We not only paid for a good car at a good price but we left happy with peace of mind. To me, that was the most important. I will forever remember them and their business even through the miles and im telling you, if youre nearby at all, just stop in. You dont want to miss out on the vehicle you were supposed to drive away in for one that leaves you stranded and broke. God bless.
My experience was great, and hassle free . Alex handed me the keys for the truck l was interested in, and let me inspect without anyone looking over my shoulder. Tommy was also great, he was able to get me financed at a decent rate. My overall experience was great. Happy with my truck, and l would recommend anyone to give this place a try.

This review is well overdue, but we had a great experience with Jay at anchor last year. Jay gave us space and let us look and drive whatever we were interested in, not pushy at all and very friendly. Pushy salesmen are a big no from me and I didn't have to deal with thatat anchor. I would shop here for a used car again without hesitation. Everyone was honest and willing to help us make the right choice.

Out of town sale (2.5 hours away)... We spoke to Alex early in the week about a decently priced used Expedition. She was very responsive in communication via text and a couple phone calls. Husband and I drove there that Friday afternoon. After a long inspection (husband is a mechanic) and test drive, we bought it. We were quickly processed and off we drove. Update: When we got our actual, non-temporary tag, it took my husband a long time to remove the temp tag as Jay had used a screw that was too large for the fitting (for the license plate screw), which caused the screw fitting to rotate with the screw when my husband tried removing it. My husband had to spend time after working fixing this issue, and while we got the screw out, the fitting for said screw fell into the inside of the trunk door. We had to go out and buy hardware to fix this issue, and I had lowered my review to three stars after this incident. The dealership has since reached out and has offered to compensate us for the money we spent to fix the fitting ourselves. I have since upped the stars on/of my review, and we both appreciate Anchor Auto Outlet calling to let us know they would send us a check to reimburse us for the money we had to spend to fix the issue.
