This review is well overdue, but we had a great experience with Jay at anchor last year. Jay gave us space and let us look and drive whatever we were interested in, not pushy at all and very friendly. Pushy salesmen are a big no from me and I didn't have to deal with thatat anchor.
I would shop here for a used car again without hesitation. Everyone was honest and willing to help us make the right choice.

Out of town sale (2.5 hours away)... We spoke to Alex early in the week about a decently priced used Expedition. She was very responsive in communication via text and a couple phone calls. Husband and I drove there that Friday afternoon. After a long inspection (husband is a mechanic) and test drive, we bought it. We were quickly processed and off we drove. Alex and owner stayed a little late to get the deal done. Fantastic customer service! Definitely recommend Alex and the Anchor Auto Outlet staff. Very friendly and no BS!

Excellent service. I called ahead and spoke with Jay, who answered all of my questions about the vehicle. I scheduled a pre-purchase inspection, he was patient and agreed to hold the car until the inspection was completed(which was two days after the call). That level of flexibility and trust really stood out. They took care of the few things the inspector found with no hesitation. I appreciated their professionalism throughout the process

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Anchor Auto Outlet purchasing my Jeep Wrangler. Alex was pleasant, answered all of my questions and contacted me with the information I requested within an hour. The transaction with Jay was seamless. I posted an initial review from what I thought was a trustworthy experience. I was in the market for a car for my son for his birthday, inquiring from out of town and asked a significant amount of questions regarding the service history and condition of the vehicle. I asked when the oil had last been changed, the condition of the brakes/ rotors, condition of the tires, etc and if there were any other significant issues with the vehicle prior to driving to the lot to test drive from a couple hours away. According to Jay at the dealership everything checked out (although they took a while to respond on a few things). I visited the lot and they told me when I arrived that they had to change the battery, but again told me the oil had been changed, the brakes were in very good condition and there were no other issues with the vehicle. After a test drive the vehicle ran fine, the brakes had some light grinding but nothing to be overly concerned about- it's a used vehicle and a make/ model that is relatively inexpensive to make repairs on if/ when they come up. I purchased the vehicle for my son (it was the exact vehicle he wanted) and revealed it to him for his birthday- he was very excited. 2 weeks later I had to spend approx $1,500 to get the brakes and rotors redone, get a proper oil change (the oil was old), and order the parts for the under hood appearance panel to replace in my garage. I called the dealership confronting them on the issues they lied about and they sent me a $200 check to help cover some of the parts. I had a solid experience at the dealership- the team was very personable and I was not there very long after driving from out of town which was appreciated. I just wish they approached the business of selling vehicles with more integrity. I would not buy from them again. Just sharing an honest experience in case you decide to visit their lot.

Update: When we got our actual, non-temporary tag, it took my husband a long time to remove the temp tag as Jay had used a screw that was too large for the fitting (for the license plate screw), which caused the screw fitting to rotate with the screw when my husband tried removing it. My husband had to spend time after working fixing this issue, and while we got the screw out, the fitting for said screw fell into the inside of the trunk door. We had to go out and buy hardware to fix this issue, and I had lowered my review to three stars after this incident. The dealership has since reached out and has offered to compensate us for the money we spent to fix the fitting ourselves. I have since upped the stars on/of my review, and we both appreciate Anchor Auto Outlet calling to let us know they would send us a check to reimburse us for the money we had to spend to fix the issue.
