I sold my car through peddle and this facility ended up being the buyer. I just wanted to give them a sincere compliment. They were professional and it was a smooth easy pick up. This place is a rip off. I had some 300 KCMIL Copper wire still in it sheathing and he tried to tell me it was a dollar a pound. He said that that was not number one insulated copper, which is totally wrong at every establishment in North Carolina. They consider that wire number one insulated. Please don’t waste your time going here if you have copper because their prices are unfair and incorrect
All the people that are claiming that this place is nice and given the five stars man they either work there or got paid to post or most likely fake accounts. This place is ridiculous Scale don't work I get there oh once you're about to get paid I'll tell you weight.. you already got me once you're not going to get me again. I'd rather drive out the way to Titans metal
Don't go there if you absolutely have to to sell scrap. Along with I watched them do a gentleman dirty and sold him a front grill for $60 that I told him he could get online for $30 after you done bought it period they just rip you off that's a terrible place to go and they know they can't go anywhere what are you going to build their
Called about the rate for 600 pounds of cast aluminum. They quoted 35 cents/pound. Got to their crap hole and had to wait 30 minutes for someone to show up and tell me they would only give me 8 cents/pound for it. Waste of time got better price and service at L Gordon in Statesville with professionals. Dont say you were not warned!
Mud pit. I called asking about 2005 Tahoe to find a sending unit. They said yeah there is a few up on the hill. I get there after driving 45 mins and told they would have to lift the truck and no time today. Could have saved me the time and told me over the phone. Limited cars all on the ground in the mud. They seem to be in the business of selling used engines. Total mud pit.
Very nice people most scrap yards employees are rude as hell. This is the first that I have been to that they are nice they talk with you and they have a sense of humor.
It’s not bad if you looking for a car to make your own you just have to keep coming in every other day or so and see what they have I bought a Infiniti g35 here and I got it fixed up now it’s my daily
I had to walk threw sewage and knee high mud, and thorns just to get through to a vehicle I was trying to get a part off of. The people there were no help either.

I went in there today for a wiper motor for my Toyota. Not only did they have it, they threw in the linkage too. Good service, quick, and reasonable prices.
Don't go there to sell your scrap!!!!! Will cheat you out of pounds.scales are rigged.so if you want TRUE weight and money,go to black welders in Concord or foils in Harrisburg plus you can receive better customer service.

Buyer beware. I stopped in one day and asked the price of a mirror with a compass, specifically mentioned that I wanted one with a compass, and was told $10. The next day I came to get a mirror, had to get it myself, which was expected from this kind of place, on checkout, was told $20. I brought it up to the guy, told him what was said and by who the day before and weren't willing to budge on the price. Last time I'll shop with these guys, which is a shame, cause I'm always working on something.
Love this place. I had gotten a trans for my Lincoln Town car took it to a jo blow went back they had me up and running in matter of days yes this was like three years ago but
Seem to always have parts needed, last trip got the part looking for but it was not good, hoping to be able to return/trade out for different or other part exchange
Yard is a mess though, take boots and long pants, super muddy even days after rain and cars are really tight and piled on each other. OLD SCHOOL JUNKYARD......

good place to get parts and some of the nicest people i ever meet at a scrap yard they have one of the best most knowledgeable Parts interchange Parts pullers of any scrap yard I have ever been to they have helped me out so much with one of my service trucks over the last week that I believe they deserve a 10 star ratings
1/2 price of Gordon's it's worth the drive to statesville sheet alum at Gordon is.45 and Wayne is.20 big difference guess they have to pay for the racing
They will rob you blind if you take scrap to them. They only gave me 1/4 of the going rate for my scrap. I had 59lbs of bb copper, 49lbs aluminum, and 360lbs of steel and they gave 61 dollars. They are thieves and when i said i didnt like the offer that i wanted to go else where they said they already dumped my bins and it was to late.

good prices on parts. Very friendly staff. I wish they had Saturday hours like LKQ, maybe open on Saturday just for a few hours and close on Sunday and Mondays.
Don't be fooled by the service they claim to offer to folks if you're ever interested in having them tow a vehicle of yours that is out of commission. DON'T RELY ON THEM. I had TWO scheduled appointments for someone to tow a car out of my driveway, cleared my schedule for them to pick up, and BOTH TIMES Wayne didn't offer the courtesy to call me and tell me he didn't have a guy to come out to tow it. Disrespectful customer service.
Good folks, here .... Wayne is a good guy. They had the part, (on an old one), for my 2001 Pontiac Firebird ... Could have charged me an arm and leg, for it; but they didn't. This is what I admired most.
