Enjoyable experience. Had a good time learning about the Cherokee. Would be 5 star except it was a little hard hearing the the tour guide and presenters.

Interesting little area. The tour guides are awesome. The stations explaining the way things were made, history of life, buildings and tools used was very cool. A little dance ceremony at the end gave the people a good engaging act and laugh. The people here are very friendly.

It was very educational. We walked to different areas with one showing how they made their clothes and belts. A couple of other areas showed what they lived in at during different times periods. We went at the end of September so it was warm. We watched a beautiful show of the Cherokee Indians dance. There were a lot of gnats and you walked to each area in the village. So count on walking some.

It was a great experience. The tour person was very knowledgeable and detailed. She provided a good explanation of the Cherokee history.

I love seeing the working areas of the tour. A few things were arrowheads & baskets being made. Very informative . You will not get bored. The 2nd option part of storing telling you don't want to miss.

Very informative and entertaining. A guided tour, a council hut talk and ceremonial dance exhibition. Well worth the entrance fee. The staff welcomed questions. Happy to share their heritage and culture.

We absolutely loved this place. I am so glad we went. They set you up with a guide as you enter and we were the only people to show up in that time slot so we got a personal tour. The guide, Devon, was amazing and answered all my dumbest questions. All the guides were great. The dance happened right in the middle of our tour and they were legitimately having fun. It would have been easy for them to just go through the motions, but they all seemed to enjoy their jobs and have great passion. I had so much fun here I actually forgot to take pictures.

The tour is informative and the village is really its own experience. We had a great time, and learned so much about this storied and proud nation.

As a Choctaw Native American I was able to enter the village for Free, wowsa as long as you have your Government Indian card with you. The guided tour was interesting and informative. The recreation of the homes lived in back in the beginning was authentic and fun to imagine. I learned it was actually the Cherokees that named the Smokey Mountains. I enjoyed myself immensely!

We had a great day learning about the history and exploring the garden.

Loved diving deep into the culture of the Oconaluftee (Cherokee) Indians. Our guide was very thorough and patient answering all of our questions.

We loved the tour. Our tour guide was very informative and witty which made it more enjoyable. He allowed the group to ask questions which was nice.

I liked the Indian Village! It was very interesting to learn about the Cherokee tribe back in the day. Our guide was very helpful and informative and I enjoyed the different dioramas and sets. It was fun and I’ll come back. -Henry

This was a great experience to learn how Native Americans live and make things. My husband and I enjoyed the tour.

My family and I walked through the garden. We could have made a day out of it. It was so beautiful and relaxing. The lady at the gift store was so friendly.

Loved our guide, we didnt know what to expect and really enjoyed our time and the history. AMAZING Place to visit. Kids loved the blow dart demo!

I really enjoyed this attraction, very informative guided tours and friendly staff. Tip: try to be towards the end of a guided tour so you don't have to wait for all the other groups to catch up for the noon or 3 pm war dance. If disabled be aware that this tour will put you on uneven grading most of the walk. Bring a cushion if you normally need one very uncomfortable wooden seating. Plenty of parking, clean restrooms and snack bar on site.

The demonstrations and recreated buildings were educational. Unfortunately our guide spoke too fast. It seemed to rush the group and discouraged questions, even though we were asked if we had questions. The people demonstrating the crafts were not given an opportunity to describe what they were doing. The dance demonstration was fun. The dancers were laughing and kissing each other.

We didn’t get there until 2:30 so we did the tour and watched the dances. I’m not sure it was worth $100. My teens didn’t enjoy it all. The kids doing the dances looked like they were made to do it. I don’t know, maybe it’s one of those one and done things. I wouldn’t go again.

This was so good! Great tour guide- funny, personable, and gave so much information. Enjoyed all the demonstrations and all the artisans were glad to answer questions. Nice walk through the woods to see each station. Would totally recommend.

WOW! What a great experience! Thank you for sharing so much history and allowing us to be but a small part of it! This place is a MUST VISIT! Our guide was the sweetest young man, a descendant of the Wolf Clan. The passion in which he spoke about his ancestors and his knowledge and storytelling ability was TOP SHELF! The sacrifice and inginuity was awe inspiring! We will definitely be back for another visit!

What a great educational experience that the grandkids loved. The fact that it was an outside exhibit was perfect for a five and two-year-old. The employees were knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely recommend.

This was a pleasant stop on a long road trip ?. I looked at the Drama Theater and was surprised at the size and the stage lighting. The replica of the Indian village was a very good example of what early settlers would have found in my opinion. Our guide did make it clear that the buildings were not to scale. The true size of the buildings were 2 to 3 times the size. Some of the guests were asking questions, that were more appropriate for the early tribes west of the Mississippi. Our guide answered them as politely as possible. I would have corrected their enquiry bluntly. I would not be a good guide. You will exit through the gift shop ? but it was out of my price range. I understand that many of the goods in the shop are hand made and deserve to be valued highly, I just don't have a place for their products.

Very nice presentation of a native village, they had several artisans working their craft (i should have more pics) the walk was a little up and down but most people with mobility problems should be alright, not steep at all and plenty of room, good parking with a covered waiting area. The guide was great, he was funny and informative, he had an accent (bayou maybe) but had a good pace and connected with his audience well. It's out in the edge of a forest so the site is cool and in the shade most of the time.

It was great to see how lives native americans in this area. Unfortunately our guide lady was a little bit weak, but we joined to another group and it was fine. They showed us how they lived, they told us a lot about the traditions and craftsmanship.... There is also the botanical garden where is a lot of plants which they used... really recommend to visit.
