Super friendly folks and very efficient. Needed to get rid of an old vehicle we hadn’t had luck selling on marketplace - they made things quick and easy. If we ever need parts, would return - they seem to have a little bit of everything.
Always been super nice to me,I go looking for the part I need and get it and if I am not able to get to part off they always help me,the owner is a great guy always been great to me,I see some remarks in here remember if you want new go buy it but you will have to pay about 95percent more.
DO NOT go here!!!! I went here to get some headlights for my truck. I offered the guy $70 for a set of old worn out headlights. I accidently gave him 68 and he called me a thief over $2. I realized I had forgotten to other $20 in my truck and went to get it. He originally said $70 and after accusing me as a thief He then stole $18 from me and didn't pay me for the mower I brought to him. He is a very crooked man that will do anything for a $. If you want to be ripped off and taken advantage of go here. If not stay as far as you can from this man and his salvage yard. He is a thief
Always has what I need, when I need it. Recently, I purchased an alternator about 30 minutes before closing time. I was only able to locate the part and remove it before they closed. So what did they do? They had me pull my vehicle inside the gate so they could close for the day, and stayed with me and let me repair my car in their yausing their tools (and more importantly, I was using THEIR TIME) and made sure I was good to go before we all left together, when anyone else would have just locked up and left me to figure it out on my own. That 1/2 hour he gave me guaranteed him a loyal customer for LIFE.
They helped me out today! Truck broke last night with a hurricane bearing down on us they got me the part I need at a fair price in under 45 min!! Well worth the drive! Good people!! Here’s she is back in the driveway before the storm!!

Just found the headlight assembly for my 2013 Chevy Cruze. Guy knew exactly where it was on the lot and went and got it for me . $40 cant complain.... Will be back next time I need some.... And he has $10 tires if you find it yourself in the pile. Didnt need one today but always good to know. Will def be picking up a spare for mine in the next few weeks.
C&D is a great place to go and get used parts for your car good prices friendly people couldn't ask for a better place to shop for used parts and pretty much have just about anything you need
This place is a mess. If you're hauling scrap and have longer than a 22ft trailer, goodluck getting across the scales. If you're looking for a car part, you will be walking across cars overgrown with weeds and climbing through the back glass to get any interior parts. Upside is that they pay pretty decent for scrap metal. They also have lots of older vehicles, if your looking for classic parts. This place could use some good corporate management and would be a very successful, growing business.
If you're going to buy used tires from C&D, be sure to inspect the condition of them and know what size you need before making that final transaction. One of my friends went there to get a replacement for her flat tire, only to have been sold the wrong one. Even though that should have told me not to go there for business, I thought to give them the benefit of the doubt and try my luck. They were able to find the matching one for what I needed and I was told it was a good tire. As soon as I went to a shop to have it installed, the mechanic pointed out that there was significant bead damage and the tire would not hold air in its condition.
Considering that sales on used parts are final and non-refundable, I wasted $20 on a useless POS tire that wouldn't get me anywhere. For people that don't know what to look for in used tires, save yourself the hassle and get a new tire installed at Discount Tire. Not only will you not have to worry about it breaking down sooner than later, but you can opt to buy a 3 year warranty in case the tire you bought bites the dust.
Did not weigh all of my scrap properly therefore I don't feel like I was paid right took a whole truckload of steel and about 400 lb of copper coils number 1 copper number 2 copper compressors and electric motors and walked away with a hundred and $6 I'm going to the better business bureau
I'm beyond unhappy with this place I had actually called another place but didn't have time to make it there so ended up going to C and D and got way way less for copper than the other place was giving and I mean like 1.20 less and the employee who helped me was very rude and had a arrogant smart comment on everything I said I would not recommend this place at all i know I won't be going back.
The dispatcher answered the phone on the 2nd ring, found our tire immediately and charged less than anyone else in town!

Its ok the parts are very reasonably priced but the problem is if the part you get doesn't work and they don't have anymore they don't give your money back they give a credit to use toward anything in the junkyard although that doesn't make any sense
They had the part I needed couldn't get it off so they too it off for me everytime I go thay got what I need and the people is always nice I would highly recommend this place
They said they had the transmission already pulled... So I DRIVE an hour there... And they didn't have it pulled so they send me on a Gosse chase through their mosquito infested yard... And they still didn't have one.... F###...
I can't say anything bad about this place. I grew up in the mechanic business with my grandfather teaching me as he raised me and my brother. Anything my grandfather needed for a transmission or automobile. They had it. This business has been there for years and I believe it will remain to be there a while longer
This business is very unprofessional. I called wanting a driver side exterior handle for my mercury mountaineer. When I got there 20 mins after the call they didn't even try to get it ready. They all stood around until I got antsy. I went and found the car that they could pull the handle off of but you know I'm wrong cause I'm a woman. I told them that I would pull it and they laughed. So when they actually got a guy to go pull one he was rude and told me that another car would work. THEY were lazy and when to the first Ford expedition they saw and even gave me the wrong part. My door handles are metal not plastic. Yeah I know mercury is produced by Ford but that doesn't mean that 2000 Ford handle will fit on a 1997 mercury. I was very mad and at the time I took the handle cause I was fed up with waiting an hour and a half which could take me 30 mins max. If they don't at least trade handles with me there's going to be a big problem. I know definitely that they will not give me all of my money back so I'm not even going to try that. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE.
The best place I ever went to to buy a part. Cheap and understanding and when I'm out in the field with my wife in a car getting it on, mike is right there cheering me on.... Saying go deep the price goes down..... Seriously they are good down home country people, nobody better.... If they got it they will help you. You people with all the negative comments need to ask yourself how you treated them cause we have NEVER been treated badly or rude!!!!!!!! GO C&D WE LOVE YAL!!!!!
