This shop helped me out tremendous. I was sitting on the side of the highway at 6:30 am on 3/27/2025 in my Semi with a water leak. They were there to help within 1 hour. We got it to the shop thinking it was a freeze plug leaking. The owner came out and found out it was a broken bolt on the oil cooler plate. They pulled my truck in and started working on it immediately. After taking the turbo off they found 4 bolts broken off in the block. I was 2 hours from home and truck had to stay over night. The owner drove me home and picked the parts needed to fix my truck. He would not take a dime from me for the ride. My truck had to stay in the shop over the weekend and I picked it up Monday 3/31/2025. I cant thank this shop enough for all the help I received from everyone I came in contact with.

Got a bad experience from this place. If possible just try to avoid them. They are so arrogant and took long time to fix my truck and everything they needed was there. Avoid this place if possible. It seems I was too dark for them. They don’t know how to communicate to customers. You ask them about something, they give you this serious face. I felt as if I was too dark skinned for them !!!!! They told me that my truck airbag bursted while they were unchaining it from the tow truck and asked if I needed it to replaced at my cost!! Terrible service and place!!!!!!!!!!

Very rude people! When I refused to have my truck towed to their shop, they refused to tow my truck anywhere. Hung up before finishing the conversation. When I called back, the man rudely answered that he had already finished talking to me and told me last time bye

Excellent service. Broke down in the middle of nowhere in a bad area, with my daughter, and called Jackson's, and within an hour, they pulled up and towed our car and drove us home, for half the price other tow companies quoted us. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. I will definitely be keeping their business as a future contact for any more road side emergencies.

BECAREFUL WITH THESE PEOPLE. SCAMMMM!!!! It’s unbelievable how ridiculous this place is. My truck broke down on a Saturday 3 miles away from there location they picked up my truck and told me they were going to check out the problem the following Monday. I mentioned that it is most likely the cam sensor because they ask me what I might think it is. Fast forward 18 day. I Called them a couple times and every time they told me they were going to charge the batteries to start working on the truck. I had enough and rented a fifth wheel tote to go and pick up my truck with my other truck. When I get there the mechanic told me that the reason it was taking so long was because they checked multiple things and nothing worked and decided to check the cam sensor last which I told them that that was probably the first thing to check. They change my oil pressure sensor and charged me 261 dollars for it. Even tho the sensor was just fine and also only cost 20 dollars at most. And also I wasn’t told/ asked if I wanted that sensor replaced. Horrible place. All they do is take advantage of truckers misfortunes and profit off of it. That’s the reason why there truck are all nice. Because it was paid for by truckers blood sweat and tears. I strongly advise you to find another place. 18 days without my truck and 1900 dollars I had to pay to take my truck back on a tower I rented out.

One hour into our 4 hour Christmas trip our water pump breaks. No problem, we have AAA Platinum Premier & long distance coverage. Called AAA at 4:30pm. 3-1/2 hours later we still do not have a tow from AAA, only promises that we are "in the queue". Called Jackson's Diesel Service and within 40 minutes a tow truck shows up with a wonderful young man! Jaimie loaded our SUV up & took us back home. He was so professional & pleasant. We arrived back at our condo with our SUV safely thanks to Jaime & Jackson's Diesel Service. Thank you so much! By the way, the next morning at 5am, we received that call from AAA, almost 12 hours later.

Very helpful. They didn't have what I needed but they sent me to another place that did.

They will lie to you and string you along unprofessional and they have attitudes will go spastic on you. When you call to check on the job they are doing for you they act like you are bothering them.

Kept truck for 9 weeks had a different excuse every week why it wasn't done needed half money down which wasn't a problem took them a check that they immediately cashed then said they could only take cash for remaining balance so you go figure!!!!!!

Great people ,good service ,and the best diesel mechanic around. Their big wrecker trucks have pulled my 18-wheeler a few times. They also do my annual inspections truck and trailer.

Jackson Diesel was terrible. I drove my truck in, they kept it for 3 weeks before they serviced it, when I got it back, it ran for 30 min. Then cut off in the street. They came, got it and charged me 1300 and never got my truck started. I never had any problems with my truck running before I took it to them, now I have to get someone else to fix it and they won't let me have my truck until I pay the 1300. Really bad experience! I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there.

Rank amateur at pulling a stuck vehicle, ruined and left the road a mess, then when i said something tow guy went off the handle. Super lazy and unprofessional

These are the most rude and disrespectful people that I have talked to in a long time. They need to go out of business.

Very Rude, Stay away!! this was a few months ago already but never got around to writing the review. I called and the lady who answer the phone was extremely rude and treated me horribly, I couldn't believe my ears. When I tried to explain why I was calling she said something like: You all got too many people calling here.. and she went on to tell me they didn't have the part for my husband's truck after she checked with her husband. I believe this is a family business so she would have to be the owner's wife? I'm usually a very lay back type of person and I try not to let other people affect me but this woman was just sooo rude and entitled and plain nasty. I don't understand how they run their business but I would never deliberately bring my business to them. They need to learn how to treat their customers and just some basic manners and education would be great too.

Within in one hour and twenty minutes, my 26' moving truck, was pulled out of rim dip mud, repositioned to a safer place. Wonderful service!!!

I am just blown away at how unprofessional and unethical this shop handled our situation. We were moving from FL to MD and rented a budget truck (I'm sure they know exactly who we are). Our truck broke down in Laurinburg NC. Budget truck (or their "partners in crime" fleetnet) contracted this mechanic shop to fix our truck. To make an incredibly long painful story short our truck was dropped off there on Monday September 24th (because we were told on Sunday 23rd that we couldn’t drop it off until the 24th) and the truck remained in their care until September 27th while we sat around and waited for it. We only received a phone call at 4:35pm on the 26th to pick up the truck when the shop closed at 5pm! So we could only get it the next morning. Apparently they reported to Budget that they corrected all the problems we reported but told my husband to his face at pickup that they only corrected 1/3 of the problems. This resulted in budget over charging us and acting as if we "kept" the truck on our own account for longer than it was booked. Budget had the audacity to charge us an absurd amount as a result. In an attempt to prove that the truck was at the shop in their "hands" from the 24th-27th we merely stopped in and asked for verification that it was in their care and on their premises. We were disrespected and completed disregarded. My husband was ignored and "shooed" off. I understand the need to protect your business relationship with Budget but we didn't ask for the key to their safe. We just needed documentation of the dates the truck was on their premises to provide to our bank, that is not so difficult to verify (thank god for satellite, google maps which can verify by image that it was in fact there). It could've been as simple as written down on a sticky note. As a result for being treated so rudely, I hope someone else reads this review and thinks twice in either doing business or sending referral business to a small business that associates with corrupt corporations. For a business their size, reputation and word of mouth is everything. I'm certain the nice people of Laurinburg do not want to be associated with that type of business.

I had a road side breakdown at 11:00 a.m., they were notified and dispatched before 12 and they gave an ETA around 3 hours. At 1630 I received a call asking what's the problem, after explaining the situation I was asked could I bring it to them which I replied no. I was put on hold and when returned they said they'll call back in 5 minutes. Never got a call back or response from them. I ended up getting a more professional and dependable company out of Pembroke NC that came out and did the job and got me off the side of the road up and running. Thank God for Southern Christian.

Had them press hendrickson suspension bushings in for me and it was a good job at a fair price. Also carries a wide range of tools and equipment for retail sales.

Everone here was very kind and helpful when my mother had a car accident that sent her to the hospital and her car to their lot.

Super Great Work, Go There an they will get the job done fast an right.

I will not take my personal diesel here anymore. Their prices are reasonable but I have had nothing except trouble with them. From having my truck here for months without even being looked at, dirt and grease all over my interior, to a missing brand new $350 hitch.

Very high prices, they lie to get your truck in their shop, and very arrogant personnel who act like your bothering them by calling. Used this truck shop to have the oil changed in my 2002 Sterling Dump Truck with a C7 Caterpillar engine and my 2016 International 5900i with a Cummins ISX while we were out of town doing storm work for CSX Railroad. Charged me $900 for 2 oil changes! When I questioned the guy on the phone about the high cost, he stated that it was because of the Synthetic Oil I use in the new truck. That still didn't explain why it was $350 for my 14yo truck. Will never use these price gougers again!

Great guys that do great work and a very fair price..... Will stay over to help anyone.... I tell everyone about them they are dang great!!!!!!
