Our transmission went out today while pulling our camper, and we were stuck on the side of the road. Called AAA and 1st Choice Towing was dispatched. Ricky showed up first and was super helpful, but we needed a bigger truck for the job. Shawn came out shortly after—he was professional, quick, and clearly knew what he was doing. We ended up leaving the truck and camper with him, and he assured us he’d get the truck to the dealership and the camper safely to our house. Great service all around—highly recommend this company!
1st Choice Towing and Recovery assisted my son after he had an issue changing a tire and the vehicle fell off the jack. They were quick to respond and the price was more than reasonable for an after hours call. Will keep their number for any other issues that we have in the area.

I was on my way back from Florida and had a issue with my truck the whole front rim came off going down 95 I called them and they had a tow truck driver there within minutes... Plus they even gave me a ride to a hotel and from the hotel to the garage when my repairs was finished to pick up my truck.. the tow driver Ricky was awesome I couldnt have asked for a better interaction... I was traveling down 74 near whiteville and my truck broke down. My truck would not start. I called several towing companies but because I had a large boat behind they did not want to assist. I sat there all day and night on side of the road. The next morning I called 1st choice towing and spoke with the owner, Shawn. Shawn responded to me quickly and began looking for the problem. Shawn also drove me to the store without hesitation. Shawn took the time explaining what could be the issue Shawn called his employees, David and Dylan to recover my truck from the side of the road. I requested to have my truck towed for further diagnosis. David and Dylan towed my truck 3 hrs to my house, they were quick and professional. Great experience and very reasonable in price.
They drive around looking for vehicles to tow I have not got any call from the property that my car was parked on private property which means they should have called me I had 72 hours to get my car off that property I relocated from South Carolina to North Carolina I stuck a white piece of paper in my car window to show that I will return to get my car as which I caught a blowout they illegally tow my car without notifying me at all so yeah me and my lawyers will take full actions I can't do anything without my car! As Iam a new residence of North Carolina!

First of all, this company was a Hail Mary. We blew a gasket, overheated and were stuck on the side of the interstate. We were headed to Myrtle with our three animals & it was Memorial Day weekend. After multiple runaround’s, calling a million companies, holiday pay, after hours pay, etc., first choice gave us the lowest quote & could bring us all back to Raleigh (over two hours away, including our animals). They were there in record time, got us all loaded up and going. Our driver, Ricky, was like family- easy to talk to, made the truck feel like home. Forever grateful for them turning a bad situation into a much more palatable experience.
My husband needed a late night tow after AAA let us down. Not only did they get to him a few minutes ahead of schedule, they also took him to a hotel after dropping off the car at their shop! They helped diagnose the problem and documented everything for me to take to my dealership. Everyone I spoke with was extremely nice and helpful! They even directed me to an ATM to save a 5% credit card fee! I don't live in the area, but they made me feel like a local! Thank you!!!!
Coming back from Myrtle Beach, the top leaf spring broke on the passenger side of our 5th wheel. It damaged both tires on both sides. We have Roadside Assistance, and through their phone tree, 1st Choice Towing and Recovery came out. Shaun assessed the problem, made Roadside repairs, and then followed us 24 miles to his holding storage lot. We stayed there until the parts and tires came in, a total of two days. He had a team come out and assess, then fix everything we needed. If you need assistance with breakdowns and repairs, this is definitely the place to call. The service was excellent, and the prices were fair for the market.
Broke down off busy highway with long gooseneck trailer. Despite having mechanical issues also had problems with the equipment with my trailer. David the tow driver came up with a fast on the spot solution and was able to tow everything quickly and at a reasonable rate compared to other companies that I spoke with. Was blessed to get a professional driver with the experience I needed. Highly recommend David and 1rstchoice towing.

Last week my truck broke down on a trip from Virginia home to Florida. It was a scenario where everything that could go wrong seemingly did, but Sean and David were incredible. They went above and beyond in helping me find a rental car since everywhere was sold out due to graduations. Additionally they are able to work on diesel vehicles and I was able to leave the truck in a place that I felt totally comfortable with even though I am not from the area. Just good folks that seem hard to find in todays world.

David came and picked me up and did an excellent job with the whole process. I was traveling from Georgia to Baltimore when my vintage Mercedes transmission gave out. First Choice was prompt , Courteous and professional. They went out of their way to make things as good as they could be. I would highly recommend them.
