I am the owner of Motor City Garage in Raleigh, NC and we've been using USS Auto Parts for over a year now. They delivered on exactly what they promised which was that we would never have to call them to come out, never have to take our own inventory of what was needed and they would never miss a weekly visit. In the 15+ months we've been using them they've never once missed showing up. They come in, stock what is needed and leave me invoice. They don't hassle you, try to upsell you or attempt to disrupt your flow of business. Prices are always fair and takes about 20 seconds to pay the bill online. I would HIGHLY recommend them for your shop.
I had to do this 3 times because the service this company provides our business is top tier. As a business owner I understand there will be customers that will never be pleased, but that’s the name of the game. USS has always went above and beyond to make sure our day to day operations continue to run like a well oiled machine.
USS has been a loyal and reliable parts supplier for many years now. Derrick has always gone above and beyond to ensure that our stock stayed filled and if we ever needed anything he would go out of his way to get us parts regardless what day of the week it was. When Derrick switched over to a new route we got Carl who was new at the time. Derrick made sure to stay with Carl and train him in the way that he saw USS should be represented and Carl has been great for us ever since. The last 15 years have been great and look forward to many more.
So my first review which you see under this one was actually a review from almost 2 years ago. After finding out chris no longer worked there and the new guy Nathan (good dude) set me up again with filters at a good price. After Nathan was assigned another route I met Kendall who at first seemed ok. Just today I was delivered an order I placed for them to once again jack up the price above what I was promised. After explaining this to the sales rep he challenged me to show him a previous invoice showing the price I told him I was given. Again after an unprofessional attitude by Kendall I today him to take all of his filters and leave only for him to have a stronger attitude in saying "you wanna come look at your shield to make sure I didn't take anything I didn't bring" after which I gave him back an off their wiper blades and informed him not to come back. This is the second time I've had a problem with this company which is not good business on their part. If you intend on using this company make sure you get it in writing that they WILL NOT price increase after they've sucked you in with a low price. And Nathan of your reading this I would definitely find a more reputable company to work before they give you a bad name and you're not able to be a sales rep for another company because of a tarnished reputation.
Had a gentleman (sales rep) come out to my shop and set me up an awesome display of bulk windshield wipers and bulk oil filters on consignment for an excellent price. After several weeks the sales rep quit his job due to being screwed financially by the company. New sales rep comes to my shop for a couple weeks to monitor what items I've sold so I could be billed. After 3rd week new sales rep came out WITHOUT WARNING TO MY BUSINESS and removes wiper display and ALL consignment filters leaving me with nothing for my customers. I was told it was due to not having enough sales reps to monitor consignment contracts in my area only to determine that was a LIE because several other shops in my area were left with their consignment inventory. I later find out from a reputable source who works for the same company that removing my consignment inventory was due to them not wanting to continue at the price I was originally quoted.
