Do not buy from them, they sold me a cracked transfer case and when I called them when I got to the mechanic shop they told me bring it back. Drove 2 hours just for them to get extremely nasty with me and claim it wasn’t theirs….
I’ll make this short and sweet I bought a motor from this place it will be 3 weeks Wednesday and said it would be here on that Friday nada then excuse after excuse until they said the motor was locked up I have been good about it but now it’s getting crazy was suppose to get a call Friday for my info to refund me no call back call again today and the man said she will be calling me this afternoon we shall see I do not recommend doing business with them
I was in Wilmington visiting family when I unexpectedly needed a back window for my vehicle. I contacted Wilmington Auto Salvage and spoke to Dexter, who assured me that he had what I needed! When I arrived, Dylan was so helpful and quick! While I waited, I chatted with Dexter about the pictures in the office and the history of WAS. Absolutely loved my whole experience with these guys! 10/10 would recommend!
The bad reviews are nowhere near accurate!! I just went to Wilmington Auto Salvage for some parts for my 2006 Ford Focus, and not only did they have what I needed, they pulled the parts for me immediately and the pricing was better than anywhere else in town! Definitely recommend doing business here, and I’m glad I went despite the “bad reviews”. 10/10 recommend Wilmington Auto Salvage and their team!
My fault I guess. Should have read the other reviews on here before using this scam company. My business purchased a axle intermediate shaft from here. Dexter was helpful and got us the shaft for our customer's Saturn Vue. When we got the shaft and got it installed we found that the bearing was making noise. Called Dexter and asked him to find us another shaft. He said there were no more available and that we could ship it back for a refund. Took us a couple weeks to locate another part for our customer and get her back in to replace the part. Called Dexter back and let him know that we were going to be sending the part back for a refund. He then told us there was no warranty and they would not refund us anything. This outfit will not stand behind their products. Buyer beware.
Was supposed to come get my car on Friday, we had a deal made and they called me about 30 min later and said they had something else kinda forgot about and was getting late, so on Monday I called to see if they would come pick it up and they said no, a junk car place that won't pick up junk cars ridiculous, stick to Cape Fear Pick N Pull they offered more anyways
Needed a quarter window for my Honda Odyssey so I called out to WAS and they said they would get it ready. I drove out there 2 hours later and nobody had even started to pull it so he had me pay for it I said it will be ready first thing in the morning. I had already set up the installation with another company for the next morning. I called up there when they didn't call me and they said they would get back to me in the afternoon they never did and it turns out I miss the installation appointments. Finally on Monday the lady I spoke to said they couldn't find it and that they didn't call me because they hope that the window would materialize , I can't make this stuff up.... To all and I missed two installation appointments and how to drive out to WAS two different times. NO OFFER TO REIMBURSE ME FOR THE CANCELLATION FEES OR FOR THE GAS OR MY TIME DRIVING 30 MINUTES EACH WAY TO THAT SALVAGE YARD.
I only got to speak to one person but he was rude and miserable. He had no manners, while I was in line they charged a lady over $1500 for a used 13 year old transmission. I bought a part from there that I do not want four days ago A couple of the buttons were sticky and don't want to work, so I found one brand new on eBay for half the price they charged me. I tried today to bring back that part with the receipt and he refused to refund me the money or take the part back. Although the receipt says nothing about "no refunds or exchanges" and there are no signs in the office or at the register that state that. He simply didn't want to come off the $50 they charged me for a driver door window switch. Poor customer service and very very over priced. Also I called and was asked to leave my name and # four times with no reply, finally just went in there. So again poor customer service!
