I recently went to scrap a 94 Acura legend L according to Google the curb weight is 3,560lb for the automatic. Well the original price i was quoted was 9$ per 100 pounds. With that being said my check shouldve came out to 320.40$. Well the check they wrote me for was 3,480lb and they dropped the price of the car per pound because supposedly I said there was miscellaneous nuts and bolts in the trunk. The check that was written out to me was only for 278.00 He asked if there were any tree branches or bricks I replied "no sir just miscellaneous metal" meaning random nuts and bolts. so I go back inside to ask if and why I was only paid partial. He said because I had scrap metal in the trunk. Then he proceedes to say "that's not how it works" after I asked him if he could go and look at what I was referring to. If I was to have scrap metal in the trunk of my car wouldn't the weight of the vehicle be way over the curb weight. I came out less than the actual curb weight. I'm a honest god fearing man and I just try and be honest. This today was not a honest business transaction. If I were to make a scene in that office then they would have involved authorities so I'm trying to go about it the white way. Please could the owner or supervisor contact me.
Don't buy anything from this company in spring hope NC I purchased a engine from them and got scammed for a thousand dollars they never sent me a tracking number or anything then you try to message them you can't because when you go to send them a message it will not send And you try to call them they don't answer the phone
I love going to salvage yards looking parts for my 98 Chevy. Parts are getting scarce. If you need fenders, hoods and axles etc, there's plenty picking. Nice folks and get to roam the yard at no cost.
I’ll never bother going here again I had money wanted a transmission I had a door control arms was going to drop some serious cash for these lazy people

With fuel prices the way they are you would think they would be considerate enough to let you know this somewhere other than saying it closes at 5:00 p.m.
I was there just a few minutes after 4:00 and they couldn't help me out.
Yard is unorganized and they have no system at all. I was told what I was looking for would be on one side of the yard but I found it on the complete other side of the yard. A good majority of the cars are set on the ground with no wheels and nothing underneath of them.
There was a small mix up with my order. Youngs auto totally made up for their mistake and I appreciate that a lot. The part I bout looked new. If you're looking for a part and its expensive everywhere else. Try Young Auto Center.
My experience with youngs auto salvage has been a horrible experience.. I've attempted to sell two junk cars to youngs. Here for the past week I've either been forgotten about, and or giving the run around About the picking up of the cars and purchasing these 2 vehicles.. I've yet to receive a phone call , text messages and or voicemail concerning the 2 vehicles.
Me personally dont feel like this matter was handled in professional manner, and i seriously wouldn't recommend anyone to do business with youngs auto salvage
Large supply of parts, they will let you walk around freely and get your own parts too.they also have a parts puller on hand if you need it. Great friendly service at down to earth prices.
No warranty on parts. Not even on engine blocks and heads. Limited selection. Vehicles very unorganized. More of a recycling center than a salvage yard. My advise. Don't waste your time.
