Customer service was exceptional, and the communication far exceeded any of my previous experiences at dealerships. Nate discovered an oil leak that other repair shops had completely overlooked. Their pricing was fair, and the entire team delivered outstanding service with integrity and genuine friendliness. I won’t go anywhere else!
Absolutely horrendous experience this last time. Took my car in for valve cover replacement as well as a lower oil pan gasket. They had the car for a week and never contacted me. I left unanswered messages.
Come to find out that whatever work they did caused the car to continually blow a fuse and wouldn’t start and remain running. Charged me over $100 to find the issue with the fuse that never got resolved. They then told me they couldn’t diagnose the problem further and it had to be sent to the Nissan dealership. In the process of doing their electrical check, they pulled out the integrated power distribution module; basically the electronic brain for the car.
The Nissan SA asked if they pulled the IPDM and of course they did. Needed that replaced to the tune of $1400 plus the diagnostics.
Called Old Steel to discuss with the owner. Told he was out of the country (conveniently). Never returned my call. I should and probably will report this to the BBB. Numerous people have told me they are not reliable. They lost two customers in one with me since I brought 2 cars there for over 5 years.

Found one of your pens at work. I love it so much. It is the best pen. I don't plan to ask who lost or left it. I might come get my oil changed just to get more pens. Whoever chose your promo pens should get a raise.
I will never recommend or go back. I have a dodge ram that requires 2 fuel filters when oil is changed. Plus a simole tore rotation. I provided the oil, and the filters. They not only took 3 hrs to do it, they charged me 173.08...i have never ever paid more than 45 bucks to have the same exact service done in 45 min to an hour tops...save ur money and time and go elsewhere
Always fair priced and repaired right. Scheduling appointment best way to get work done, but in an emergency they will work it in within the week in most cases.
Josh balanced my off-road wheels after Toyota of Fayetteville created a mess out of them. Can’t thank them enough! The folks here are great! Also enjoyed waiting with the other customers and the conversations we had. Really cool, laid back country shop that does superior, quality work! 😎👍
I have a 1975 collector car.... she is my baby. I am her original and only owner. Could not get her to run right, I knew something was off. We were recommended to Josh and crew. Ronnie is a dodge guy and fell in love with her right away so I knew she was in good hands! He fixed one issue buy he felt she still wasn't running correctly....he could have just said I fixed what we thought and sent her home...but he did not. He took the extra time with her yo find out that there was indeed another issue. Totally impressed me! April made sure she was covered at night or inside while she stayed a few extra days.... they are extremely busy and I sure know why....from April, Harold to Josh and Ronnie they treat people right!
I only tend to go here for my yearly inspections, but would absolutely come here for any other needs. The lady who has worked at the front desk for my last few visits is an absolute joy, and the wait time was not too bad, even on busy days.
This place is a gem!!! The staff is always so friendly, they don’t try to make unnecessary money off you. Several times I have had to just show up from a popped tire that happened just down the street and a nail in my tire with a slow leak. Both times I happened to show up around lunch time, and the staff never complains and quickly takes care of me. I also use them for all my car issues and maintenance work. It’s great to have a hometown shop that takes care of you! Just be sure you call ahead at least a week for an appointment, because they are so good, they are busy.
Highly recommend this business for classic car maintenance and repairs. Lee and Josh are both very knowledgeable with classic sports cars. I’m very happy with my recent service and I’m looking forward to getting more things done on my Corvette .
Had tires delivered with Tire Buyer, and also had a state inspection done. Service was quick, friendly, professional, and priced competitively. Would definitely recommend.

These guys are the real deal. They do great work, they tell you if they are too busy to do it on your schedule, and they reserve Saturday for the quick service stuff (oil change, inspections, etc.).
I appreciate the straight talk on scheduling; and I'm willing to wait, if I can, because I can count on the quality of there work.
Although I came to this business sad because of my flat tire, I can honestly say that Ole Steel Auto Repair is the best tire shop I've ever had to use. They were very polite and attentive. They took time to explain to me what my car needed and made sure that the necessary parts were ordered, received and repair expeditionly.

As a woman, I'm always hesitant in dealing with dealerships and mechanics. It's a terrible feeling to be taken advantage of or treated with less respect. Ole Steel is the first shop I've found where I didn't feel that way. I worked with Harold and Lee, both of whom were friendly, helpful, and very respectful. They answered all of my questions, kept me in the loop about the work they were doing to my car, and charged a very reasonable price. Thank you guys so much! This was a great experience! A+++
I took the work truck in for an inspection after not driving it for a while and they were able to take care of a gas tank mounting issue right away. Oh, and they didn’t even charge me a full shop hour. Great team and have recommended to my closest friends and family.
Great work. Very honest about what they can and cant do. Be sure to coordinate ahead of time and everything is done as requested, and they will help diagnose your major concerns. They wont push you into things you didnt ask for, unless they feel it's a safety issue. Good job josh and team.
Stopped in right before they closed to patch a tire on my truck. They happily stayed late and patched the tire. Very friendly and engaged in conversation the entire time.
Once again superb experience at Ole Steel. Was having a problem with a Low Tire Pressure Warning Light. Tried to fill the tires myself to proper pressure but clearly failed. Stopped into Ole Steel and Josh was just super. Used his digital air pump and then drove car around to determine if the warning light would disappear. Voila. Problem solved. Could not recommend this company more. Extremely pleasant fellows, very competitive prices and just great to deal with.
Got a flat tire an hour away from home and stopped in here for help and they were AMAZING! So happy to have found this outstanding shop! Just wish I lived closer!

Ole Steele is the place to go for all your Vehicle repair needs. They do an excellent job, no non-sense approach and best of all HONEST. The owners are really great and rooted in the community.
