You gotta meet Cotton! What a legend. My car's bumper was hanging on for dear life, and I was dreading an expensive repair. Then Cotton came along. He didn't just help he turned a frustrating situation into a genuinely positive experience. He took the time to carefully tape everything up, making sure it was secure. But what really made it was his personality he was so nice and genuinely funny, cracking jokes and keeping my spirits up the whole time. It felt like a friend had shown up to help, not just some random guy.

Lauren was awesome! My car battery died and Lauren helped me choose and install a new one. She was patient when I knew (very) little about the vehicle, took time to explain all of my options, and was incredibly efficient when installing the new battery. I was in and out in under 15 minutes. I’ll definitely be back!

Angie was so nice! We were from out of town trying to help our daughter who lives here with her vehicle issues. Angie pulled the codes for me. I purchased some parts and Colton loaned me the tools to do the repair in the parking lot. Angie and Colton are the best however everyone was nice and helpful there. I highly recommend this location.

Hands down some of the best customer service and helpful staff. On July 28, we were in town for a golf tournament and our jeep decided it was going to start sputtering like a hot go cart with a lawnmower engine. We already knew the problem but needed help with the solution. My husband spent hours in the parking lot replacing a coil that broke and the staff was wonderful, coming out to check on him, lending testing and tools, and expertise. They all periodically took time on their breaks to check on him and help fix the coil that had broken.

On July 24th, I was passing through town with my wife and two small kids on the way home from Myrtle Beach when our vehicle's alternator gave up. We limped our way to O'Reilly Auto Parts and shared our dilemma with O'Reilly's staff. Two of their guys dropped everything they were doing to help me find the right replacement alternator, and then helped me put it on in the parking lot, using their tools! They had me back on the road in less than an hour, and they covered the cost of the replacement alternator under warranty. What a blessing! Had it not been for O'Reilly's and their staff, my family and I would have been stranded, far from home. Thank you O'Reilly 's of Southern Pines!

About to have a baby and my battery died! In the rush for a OB appointment Stanley made it happen and helped me out with a fantastic job putting a new battery in for me with honest opinion. Most recommended!

Went to this O’Reilly assuming I’d have to pay just to be told my battery was dead. Because, you know, nothing is free, especially car stuff. Turns out, the diagnostic was free, shocking. Colton, the sales rep, managed to test my battery, install a new one, and somehow juggle another customer and a constantly ringing phone without collapsing. Guy looked like he was running the whole store single-handedly, probably without a lunch break. Took about 30 minutes, which in car-time feels suspiciously efficient. They even had everything I needed in stock, which honestly feels like a trap because when does that ever happen? Anyway, props to Colton for pulling it all off. Still don’t trust how smoothly it went, hmmm.

The kind man working at 8pm on a Saturday night went out of his way to find someone to change my leaking tire because he didn’t think it was safe to drive home to Hillsborough on. He saved me & my daughter from being stranded at night out of town & reminded me how good people are.

Don't ever go to store 4638 in southern pines when the store manager Roxanne is there. She's one of the worst employees and managers at this store. She let's car dealership oil jockeys work on the store property and let's them threaten employees. And can't take blame for her own actions. Also she likes to belittle employees in front of customers. She leaves work early to have personal time when she has sales calls to do. She is even the reason why the commercial dales have gone down.

Update 1/25/2024- Shout out to the two fabulous ladies that were working the store. They were kind and assisted me and a sweet elderly lady with our light bulb instalation, while helping someone with batterty issues and still checking out customers. Lauren was so awesome even though I know she was overwhelmed her and Allison showed great team work. This is my spot for my auto need. Go ladies you rock! I placed an online order after being told that my windsheild wipers needed to be repaired by Pinehurst toyota when I was paying for my oil change. I went to advanced auto parts but they were a little high. i looked online and decided to order from O'reilly auto parts, I had to call to see if my order was ready but the gentlemen who put on my wipers was very helpful and gave me advice on the headlights that I had purchased from Auto Zone. I will definitely be back here becuase of the great customer serive.

I went in and asked for help attaching my rearview mirror that popped off. They refused to come look at my car to see what I needed specifically and offered me glue. Because there were cords behind my mirror, I had inclination enough to know that glue would damage the parts. I asked again if they would come look at it. Again, they said no. I left without any of their products. 10 minutes and a detailed YouTube video later, I was able to attach it myself. Only go here if you want to be made to feel like an idiot for asking for assistance.

I debated between a 3✨️ and 4✨️ due to one bad experience. I out weighed the first visit with my last experience there. The first experience was horrible. I needed assistance with having my vehicle put on a machine and checked so I could see what part needed to be ordered. The man that was supposedly assisting me wasn't of any assistance at all. He pretty much just blew me off. I was told they didn't offer the service, I knew my mother said that they did for her. Why was I told differently? Despite the terrible first experience I ran into more car trouble. I was hesitant about going back but the location was literally walking distance from my then residence and I do believe in second chances. So yes. I decided give it another go. Glad I did, it ended being so much more of a great experience, I ended up walking away leaving that woman a tip. This time I was greeted by a woman who definitely knew her job and some. Her customer service was on point. She fulfilled every request and gave all the right suggestions. Notice I said "SHE", this woman was phenomenal. I couldn't complain about anything she said or did. She did end up being a manager, none the less she did her job as a worker should do no matter what title is being held. This type of experience I'd what will make me be open to come again.

Had a oil filter in had and went up to the counter. One guy working helping a customer and then he goes outside to put on her part. Doesn’t call any other workers. A worker does come out but totally ignores us three customers standing there and goes behind the counter to inventory something and then returns to his hiding spot in the back of the store without even acknowledging we were there. It is hit or miss here. They lost me as a customer. Went to NAPA down the street where the workers there are knowledgeable and friendly.

This used to be my go to parts store due to their customer service, knowledge, and ability to get parts quickly. They have had a complete change over of staff and now I wouldn’t trust them with my son’s power wheel. I ordered headlight assemblies and they were supposed to be in the next day. I could’ve definitely gotten them cheaper from somewhere else, but paid extra just to have them in time for my daughter’s trip. The guy went to look them up and asked if they were for the front or rear of the vehicle. Helloooo headlight assembly!!! Pretty sure in any country, time zone or planet the headlights are in the front. Then the guy said only one came in after I had called ahead to ensure they were there before I made the 20 minute drive to go get them. After that I got well you’re just gonna have to wait a day or so to see IF it comes in. When I get that headlight, the only parts store I’ll deal with is Advanced Auto. I don’t know who is worse Autozone or O’Reilleys, but they are in competition for the most incompetent customer service and knowledge around.

I looked online and in multiple different stores for a part for my car, after calling around and finding nowhere that charged under $250 for what I needed I almost just gave up and paid up... but I called O'Reillys first and thank the heavens I did. I had them order and picked up the part 2 days later for $170. AMAZING!!! WhenI picked it up the person working the front was very friendly and informative. Checkout was quick and I felt 100% confident that my car was about to be fixed and that I got the BEST price for the part.

I have never been in an Auto place where the person behind the counter was so Professional, Knowledgeable, Personable, Helpful, Efficient and fast as lightening... he looked up our RV and got busy in a flash. In and out record time. I'm still impressed and speaking about him

Went in all day, back and forth trying to get the right starter. Purchased the starter and got my car fixed in southern pines, live in Carthage and they are telling me I have to go back home to get debit card for return. If they knew u would need that for a return he should really make it aware to the customers. Now I’m driving all the way home to get a debit card for a 20$ return. They need people in there that knows the policy’s and make them aware to the customers before purchase. Because I would of used cash, had I known

Took my 89yo grandfather there for a dead battery he bought there a year ago. They were nice, humored him, and after testing to see if it would hold a charge (no) the customer service rep simply switched it out and gave him a new one. No questions, paperwork, or hassle. Very efficient. Thank you.

Very efficient and effective service. Asked staff member to install windshield wipers on my car. He did very quickly, and I was on my way in a matter of a few minutes. Store is very busy, lots of customers, but wait time is very brief. Prices are very reasonable.

I recently stopped here to buy parts for my Jeep and was very impressed with the staff's courtesy and attentiveness. One of the salesmen greeted me in the parking lot, helped me to discard some oil and assisted me in finding everything I needed to get me on my way quickly. This has become my auto parts store of choice in Southern Pines. Thanks!

Lived and visited auto parts stores all over the USA, and I never had a more enjoyable experience as I had here. Places near San Jose/San Francisco, or several in eastern CT, northern NJ, Columbus, OH. Never had as good an experience. The service, friendliness, humor, positive atmosphere, and genuinely helpful support. My girlfriend felt the exact same way. 6 stars!
