Nice people, went in for a battery for my truck. Cost for 4 yr warranty was reasonable. The battery was dated 2025 which was expected. Another auto store that was trying to sell me one from 2023 3 yr warranty.
The boy working at 4:00 on 3/11 was absolutely no help. Was trying to fix a problem with my friends car and the the product we bought from the store was not working. I didn’t know if he could come and look at it to tell me if it was something I was doing or if there was a problem with what we bought. He looked at me like I was stupid and offered zero help whatsoever. I will NEVER be back to this location.
Very knowledgeable crew of guys and girls working at this location. Nothing but good experiences with accurate parts, selection, and customer service. The last experience I had with this location was with Bryan Metz, he was the associate that assisted me in the replacement of my battery, under warranty, and the correct selection of air filter for infinity QX80. Mr. Metz installed the battery without a hitch or any mess or scratch on the paint job.

Zachary and Anthony were absolutely life savers. Our very first trip to Uwharrie National Park and we were stranded with a lug nut that would not budge. For over an hour we tried and tried. We were forced to limp through town with a flat tire from air pump to air pump to the only open place that could possibly help us. We struck gold at this particular Advance Auto Parts store. Zach never once hesitated to pull out the tools necessary to get us on our way. The lug nut never would come off, but he helped plug the tire and fill it with air so we could make it back home to Fayettville. He certainly didn't have to help, but he rolled his sleeves up and was down on the ground helping. He made a very bad day turn right around. We would later find out that the lug nut would not have come off due to the tire shop messing it up, but Zach's efforts were much appreciated and allowed us to make the drive home. So if you need something...go to Advance store #4151 and ask for Zach or Anthony. I promise you will not be disappointed. The best customer service we've experienced since well before COVID! Thank you gentlemen again for your help. We are truly grateful!
Customer service was not great. The manager on duty (5/20/22) was not respectful and his tone of voice was flat out rude. The salesperson on the other hand was nice and helpful. We will take our business elsewhere.
This place always has the stuff we need for our vehicles. Prices did seem to be a little higher than usual but what isn't these days? Employees are helpful as long as you know exactly what you need or what kind of car you need it for since they look everything up on computers
I have had a platinum commercial account for years. I travel to many many Advance stores. Few have been this bad. Listened to absolutely nothing I said and told me they didn't have all the parts I needed and no wonder because they ones he did have were for a totally different vehicle. So I look at the receipt just in case he accidentally grabbed the wrong part number. Nope looked up the total wrong vehicle. Don't think I'll make this stop again.
Came through pretty close to closing. My clutch cable bracket had been left loose from it being worked on by a fellow shop. They let me find the correct bolts I needed, borrowed tools, showed me were everything is, allowed me to get cleaned up, flush debris out of my eye... and so on.... all filled in with great conversation... whomever those two guys were that night... they need to be recognized by corporate... I was lost with a broke down huge 6500 rollback 179 miles from home... thanks to them... I made it home by 11pm. Signed... forever grateful
There ok I guess I have learned that these parts stores have gotten to the point where 99% of the people who they hire to to work for them have any clue of how to diagnose or repair an automobile. Every time I go in to Advance or any of the other big name parts stores the person who tries to help me is completely lost if the computer doesn't tell them what they need to know. I think that all parts retailers should have a policy that the people who apply for employment with them should at least have the basic knowledge of auto repair. I mean how do you talk to someone about what you are doing to a vehicle and need to complete the job if they have never touched a wrench or changed the oil and filter in a vehicle. But overall if the employee you talk to can't get the answer you're looking for on their computer 9 times out of 10 you're screwed.
Camping trip in the Uwharries. Truck would not start. Scrapped some corrosion off the battery post and thankfully it started. Went to Advance Auto in Troy to replace my 5 year old batteries . Juan has me ready to go in 30 mins.. He was very helpful and extremely polite.
