I had him tow my vehicle from charlotte to indian trail where others would’ve charged $200+ he beat the hell out of any price I’ve ever seen from a towing service! My 5-year old truck would not start. Thought I had a dead battery. Called Nelms’ Towing and Mark said he’d be there in 30 seconds. Well, it was a minute later he arrived. I was impressed and happy. Before he even got his flatbed truck in position, he said show me it won’t start. There was power but only a click in the engine bay after pressing the start button. He crawled under my truck and whacked the starter. We reapplied my jumper cables and the truck started. He said, “All you need is a new battery.” He didn’t charge me for the call, so I gave him a $50 tip. Nelms’’ Towing is reliable, helpful and honest.
What a professional! I don’t need a tow truck everyday, but if I ever do again, I’m calling Nelms. He was ready to go as soon as I called and gave me really helpful advice. Can’t recommend this company highly enough!

We called them over the holiday weekend for a tow on a golfcart. The owner generously jumped on a facetime and helped us through our issue. He could have easily came out to tow and made easy money but instead helped us over the phone and didn't charge us a dime. Could have been earlier but because I had to take care of some other things I needed to delay the pick up time. Mark worked with my schedule. If you want quality and efficiency go to Nelms. Talk about the light at the end of a tunnel. I was in desperate need of a tire change because I had some missing pieces in the trunk with the spare;but I didn't not have to worry. By far the best customer service I have received in a very long time! I worked with Mark who was helpful from the very first phone call. He gave me a quote and an estimate pickup and delivery time for the very same day service, arrived early, and delivered beyond the promise! I would highly recommend them if you need a tow service for anything, but in my case an automobile. The guy Mark Nelms, came and referred me to a gentleman who came and fixed the ignition key on my VW Jetta for half the price for what the dealer was charging.
