I was buying steaks from this gas station. The last one I purchased was about a month ago. When I opened the vacuum sealed package it had a hair in it. Unfortunately, I had to throw it away. The next time I went to the gas station to put gas, I told the worker behind the register. They told me the owner was there and that she would be the one to talk to. I told her about it and she said there's nothing I can do.As I did not take the steak back with the hair on it. A couple weeks later, I was going through my phone and realized I had actually taken pictures of it. I went there this morning to show the owner which the manager ended up being the owner, and she said she didn't recognize the hair because the lady that works in the back is a black woman. She must also work in the back because the hair matches hers. Very greedy management at this place, over a steak!!!
She being the owner was completely rude and would not let go of a fresh steak if her life depended on it. Very disgusting and greedy. Couldn't even honor the fact that I showed her proof of my honesty. I would not purchase steaks at this place unless you want to feed the greedy.
I grew up on Alabama Bbq but I have tender spot for Carolina bbq. It was a pleasant surprise to see slaw on my burger. I have been longing for a good ol Carolina Burger for over a decade now. I will be back.
The ladies there were sweet as mint lemonade on a cool summer day. I will come to thwir establishment more often just because of their mannerisms and clean as ever store.
Clear Run Farms have the best fresh liver pudding, sausage and pork chops . People travel from as far as New York and maybe even farther away. Friendly staff, country courtesy...nothing but love..... don't take my word for it... check it out for yourself....
I grew up in Wilmington, Clear Run Farms liver pudding is the best ever, the bbq sauce is great. I drive to Harrells when I can and stock up. A great place !!
The food here was great but even though they had signs posted stating that you must wear a mask nobody was enforcing it and I was the only person wearing one. It felt unsafe.
After realizing today that I should have gotten gas before leaving Clinton. I take 421 to Wilmington and chose to stop at clear run farms store to get some gas.i pulled up to the pump and saw a price of 2.79 a gal for regular unleaded. In Clinton gas runs about 2.45 and Wilmington 2.47... now I'm all for supporting small business but as I paid for my 10.00 in gas I told the ladies behind the counter that that price is just plain taking advantage of people.one lady was shocked when the other lady behind the counter agreed with me.
1 star for ethanol free premium and 1 star for the few employees and locals that are friendly. A majority of the employees at the cash register are rude and there is no such thing as customer service. It's unfortunate that in such a small community management allows this behavior.
