Decent place people are good and the prices are decent I bought a new motor for my truck he gave me a good deal and pulled it for me he also helped load it with his forklift into an SUV lol. Only complaint was he was a little late to pull ithe motor
like 1.5 days later then expected. Wasn't much of an issue it just slowed things down a little

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Horrible place, mean staff. Sold me a bad transmission unit and would not refund me at all. Over $300 and my time wasted. Will NEVER do business here again.
Purchased a used transmission for a 2005 Honda accord. Installed the unit, went to drive the car and fluid was pouring everywhere. Removed transmission and found the case was cracked and became porous. The owner told me the part had a 45 day warranty on it, and i tried to receive a full refund within 30 days of the purchase date. Brought the transmission back to the junkyard where the owner became very hostile and threatened me with his knife. Cops arrived and handled the situation. Needless to say im out $300, a transmission, and hours of my time. Wouldn't recommend this place to my enemy.
I found some rare interior parts that I needed to restore my 1987 Jeep Comanche at this salvage yard, which happened to have an '87 like mine. Because of COVID, it took a couple of months for me to make the trip from Alabama, but it was well worth the seven-hour drive. The owner was very considerate of my commute, and when I finally made it up, he even remembered me inquiring about the truck on the phone from two months earlier. He was also true to the prices he quoted me on the phone. His staff was friendly and took pride in their work. I don't understand the negative comments about this business. I would give it 10 stars if I could.
Rude and tried to give me less money til i called him out, and tore up my driveway, he didn't put the car in neutral either so the bumper went flying off
The owner worked with me on price was very pleasant to deal with. The engine showed up on time as expected. The only issue was that we did not know that the oil pan was cracked on it until after the install was complete but it was such small crack we may not have even noticed it, these things can happen during transport or in the yard. I do wish that it would have been inspected a little better before being shipped so we would have known but all in all I am pleased and would transact with NC Auto Salvage again.
The man that I assume is the owner of the place was rude. He wasn't very helpful or considerate. Terrible customer service. I was quoted a lower price for the back glass when I called to get the price over there phone. I got there to pick up and was told the higher price, he was again rude, insisting I was lying and that he never quoted me that price. I wasn't able to find the glass elsewhere or I would have left and not made the purchase. So I had to pay the higher price. I'll not be doing any more business with this establishment again.
Great place for used and new car parts. I had no issues getting the things I needed. The owner was very nice and took the time to help me find exactly what I needed. To those that wrote bad reviews, I am sure there is more to the story. . always is..... I had no issues and would recommend this place to everyone and anyone.
(Also this is not a U PICK your own part kind of yard, they have workers who bring the part to you! Which is a BETTER service) Love this Place!
NC Auto Salvage just burned me on a motor-said it ran good and it knocks. Won't pay for repair or labor. Just letting you know. Now they won't even refund it unless I take my reviews down. We drove an hour one way to return it. Just a heads up: They still owe me a refund a year later. Tried to blackmail me by offering me a refund AFTER I take this review down. These guys are liars and have no morals.
We have used them several times now. The owner Has always been polite and professional. He has always us know when he would have the part and had it ready. He also verified our credit card with us each time when we had someone else placing an order or picking up for us. I highly recommend them and I'm shocked to see any bad review on here. There must be more to it than described here.
Went there for a strut, first they said it would be $30 but have to wait until Monday (called on Friday). Went on Monday had to pay $45 but it wouldn't be until Tuesday. Went back on Tuesday got the strut and took it to my mechanic, come to find out a bolt was missing and he couldn't put it on. Went to return it but they told us to wait an hour and a half and they would have another one from the same car. Went back to pick it up and they said it would be the next day. I finally got my money back. Never going to this place again. Found the same part for $40 and no hassle at Speedy's.
The worst place I have ever been to the people are mean they’re stuff is overpriced and they don’t allow you to get parts yourself so they can charge you more like I’m not paying 50 bucks for a bolt I can get for 5 I highly recommend you to not go here and go anywhere else because it’s a waste of money and the owner is an ass
