Sam was great and went above and beyond to ensure that my antique Mercedes would not be damaged any further after suffering a broken control arm 25 miles from home. I have used them several times and have always had great service. They did what they said and delivered on time! As you can see, he put the car in my garage so I could repair it out of the weather!

Knowing that my vehicle is in safe hands provided us with some closure, that was needed. My car may have never been recovered if he never went down there and got it. Chuck, from Billy's Wrecker and Battery Service is an absolute gem! I overheated on the Saluda grade on I-26 (note to self: avoid this stretch of highway in the future) and called the Highway Patrol and Billy's (via AAA). I was towing a camper and pulled onto the narrow shoulder. I didn't have to wait long, which is good, because it was not a safe place to be stuck with two kids. Not being local, I had no idea what garage to take my truck to on a Sunday, no idea what I was going to do with the camper, and no idea if I would make it to my intended destination. Chuck recommended a couple of garages, and one of them agreed to check out my truck. Then he offered to tow my camper to the campground where I had reservations, so I could continue my plans while I waited for my truck repair. He towed both the truck and camper off the highway and then called for another truck to hitch the camper to while my truck was taken to the garage. If you get stuck in the Hendersonville, NC area, call Billy's. They respond quickly, they are competent and friendly, and they care about the people they help.
Sam was nothing short of superb. His cheery demeanor and engaging personality were like a ray of sunshine, instantly lifting my spirits.
On a quiet Sunday morning, he came to my rescue, towing my car and me all the way from Hendersonville to Charlotte. His kindness and efficiency made the unexpected journey bearable.

Been waiting several days. No phone conversations that were not initiated by me keep getting told one thing and never happening. Used to be dependable not so much anymore is my opinion.
I have had such positive experiences with Chuck and Sam coming out to help me recently. I had an electrical wire that needed to be fixed and then the other day I needed a jump because my hood was open and my light was on the whole night. I ended up getting a new battery today as it was actually due for one. We are from out of town and staying in an Airbnb with rough access, but that didn’t stop Billy’s from taking care of us! Sam was so kind, helpful, and timely. It took no more than 30 minutes from the time we called for him to arrive at our Airbnb. He changed the tire, gave us directions to the nearest tire shop, and even gave us tons of places to visit that only locals would know about. All over a 10/10 experience and highly suggest Sam and Billy’s wrecker service!
Our truck broke down this evening on the way to dinner. We called a big name local towing company, who told us that there was a 2-hour wait. A nice State Trooper came by shortly after and called Billy's Wrecker Service for us. Billy himself came to our rescue - within 20 minutes of the call - and took us back home. Billy and JR were both really helpful when we were stuck out in Pisgah. They were very careful with our car and went the extra miles (literally) to get my family safely home in addition to getting our car back to the dealership for repair. They even checked on us the next day and offered helpful advice about businesses in the local area.
These are good hearted, skilled and capable men. Nobody wants to need a tow truck but I'm glad we crossed paths.

Billy helped my husband and I pull our 26 ft u-haul out of a very sticky situation on 2 separate occasions (loaded and unloaded). He was quick to respond, polite, friendly, confident in his ability to get our u-haul out and his price was significantly less than others we called. Most tow services we called didn't think their truck could handle it, BUT Billy's could! If he can get our u-haul pulled out of the situation we were in, he can do just about anything! He is on my speed dial and will recommend to anyone needing his services.
The people he serves aren't just customers to Billy, you can tell he goes the extra mile and really cares about each individual.
Sam was great. I broke down at QP the night before Easter. This morning on Easter I called them and Sam was super nice and called me in enough time for me to get back to my car to meet him. He dropped my car off at the repair place on the other side of town and I went on with my day. Super nice people. I will definitely use in the future.

Billy's wrecker service has helped us numerous times at All About Plumbing & Septic. Most recently we just got stuck on a snowy road and could not get out. Billy's Wrecker Service was the only company willing to come out to help us out. We greatly appreciate their great service and always being able to come out when you need them.
Billy was amazing! He came out at 9:00pm in the pouring rain to change our battery for us, and he had his entire family in the car! We are so grateful he was there to help.

I waited at the shop for 3 hours for a tow and the driver called Billy and said my mechanic was rude to him next thing I know he is leaving and Billys starts being rude over the phone and yells at him then hung up after he said called his driver a liar! My wife and I are Calling the better business bureau then AAA ! Nice to know how Billys treats his new customers and his shop repeats! And for the record I was there standing on the side listening to your driver and the mechanic and nothing wrong was said other than to take care in pulling in. We blew a tire on a highway outside Hendersonville, so we needed towing to a shop since we didn't have a spare. I wish I got the name of our driver. Very polite gentleman and he was kind to us two adults, a toddler, and a dog. Made the service simple and easy on us. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a tow!

Austin was the driver who came to get my camero at bobs creek. It sits low and this smart young man Austin did it without scrubbing it on the ground. Very polite and friendly. So whoever is his boss I wanted to tell him that boy deserves a raise. Never met a more polite and knowledgeable person. Better not lose him. Thanks again Austin. You rock!
On 02/25/15 I ordered service to have my truck pulled out of the ditch through AAA at 2:00 PM. Billly's Wrecker never called me after being assigned by AAA. Finally I received Billy's number from AAA and called them. The dispatcher told me that the wrecker would arrive between 4:00 and-4:30 PM. At 5:00, the driver called me and told me he was in Brevard which is about 15 minutes from my home. The driver never showed up nor did he call me. I called the driver's cell phone twice but he never answered his phone. At 6:30 PM AAA called and told me the driver could not make it because of weather which was just an excuse because at that point we had less than 1/2" of snow. I called the owner of Billy's at 7:00 PM and he would not even offer an apology....just excuses. I would never use Billy's Wrecker for any service.
So, I thought it was a good idea to park on the side of a windey mountain driveway. The ground gave way in the tropical storm rains and the truck threatened to slide down the mountain into the creek below. Billy came out on this dark rainy night in less than an hour and manage to get me out of my muddy doom with out even a scratch. I highly recommend Billy's company to anyone who is having one of those days and needs a tow!

I got in a wreck in Asheville and the police called Billy's to tow my jeep. After keeping it for not even 24 hours Billy charged us for two days (100$ a day). I had them tow it 45 miles and Billy charged us for 105 miles. Paid 430$ for a 100$ job. Avoid at ALL cost! Give another HONEST company your business!!!
Well, I don't know about AAA but I have AARP/Allstate coverage. I've used them twice in the last week and both the owner and his son? were courteous and prompt. They arrived within 10 mins of the estimated arrival time. No problems here.
Great towing company with fair prices. They have been my first choice on who to call for towing in Henderson county. My last tow was a one ton dually truck and they were still 15-20.00 cheaper then any other company and picked up when they said they would! Recommended! Dave @ Naples Iron & Salvage
My car broke down at the DMV of all places, and Mike my driver, brought me to three garages to find one that could help me out due to the hectic Labor Day crowd and people not being able to fit me in.
He even went as far as coming back in the shop to ensure I could get a ride home.
I can't believe the level of service the company offers. The only recommendation I have is maybe to have a stool to help older/disabled people get in the trucks.
