Had to have it towed (they were picked through my insurance company) and they left my keys out in the car overnight in downtown Charlotte and did not put it in a lockbox, my heys were left in the same spot under my floor mat and I left the window half way down in case it locked. Then when I called the front desk women, she was very rude to me about the situation saying they aren’t responsible and I can see why with the unprofessional way she came at me on the phone. I had a lot of my clothes and shoes damaged from this. The only people who were compliant and tried to help me figure out what happened was the place it got dropped off at

Excellent service. I had to get my Grand Cherokee towed for service. CAF was dispatched by Jeep customer care. They got to my vehicle very quickly and the driver was very courteous and helpful. They called with updates and I knew exactly when they’d be here. Highly recommend.

Dispatch called me just a couple minutes after my insurance requested the tow and it wasn’t long after that I heard from the driver. Joe was so kind, and he had the car loaded and off to the shop quick. Will definitely keep CAF in mind if we need a tow in the future!

If I could give this company a -100 stars I would. Our insurance assigned us CAF Wrecker to tow us 45 miles to where we needed the vehicle to go. We were left stranded on the side of the road for 4 hours in the middle of no where. We would call about every hour and thirty minutes to see what their ETA was and they kept telling us it would be another hour. When someone did finally show up, they didn’t even bring a tow truck. Nothing was resolved and the operator they sent was clearly on drugs and sped off without any help. We had to call another company in to get us towed. Absolutely would NEVER recommend this business!!

They sent a tire that did not fit my Suburban and attempted to force it on. When my husband noticed this, he told the man to stop and call the boss for a new tire. Instead, the man began loading everything into his car and sped off, nearly hitting my husband. In response, my husband reached through the open window. However, no physical contact was made by either party. After this incident, we tried calling multiple times regarding the man you sent, who appeared to be under the influence, but we were continuously ignored, and no one answered our calls. Therefore, I do not believe you intended to send anyone else. If you had planned to do so, it likely would have taken another four hours.
Very polite staff and right on time. The driver Mathew done an excellent job was very well mannered and new what he was doing. Took into consideration that my vehicle was having drive train issues and he was gentle in loading and unloading my vehicle. Professional, on time and cost effective. I highly recommend them
Terrible company, waited on the side of the interstate I-77 for 5 hours. they claim they are 20 minutes away every hour. do not give your money to these people. should give a warning on how long, was in danger for 5 hours. they are very unprofessional with the way the answer their phone. kept calling me baby… BABY im a 18 year old girl stuck on the busiest interstate in charlotte. quit the sweet talk. calling to check where the people who said they were 20 minutes away were at every hour. she kept lying to me! so weird. in the end i had to call the police! will be reporting your company to the state. i see how many reviews had the same experience. this wasn't right & u should be shut down!
I got a flat in my Tesla, which has no spare. My insurance sent CAF Wrecker as my service provider, and gave me a 60-90 minute wait time. CAF was there within 15 minutes! In addition to that, my insurance company was sending me to a tire shop that was going to be closed by the time we arrived. The driver suggested I call my insurance company back and tell them he was taking me to a different location that could actually help me. Had it not been for his suggestion, it would have been a 3-4 hour ordeal trying to get me home. I am so appreciative for his knowledge and help!
My daughter was hit by another car and knocked into oncoming traffic. CAF wrecker driver, Tim, witnessed the accident. He moved his wrecker in front of my daughter's car, checked on her (the individual that hit her did not and he was not hurt), and sat with her the entire time. When the officer asked if we could drive the car we were not sure due to impact and crossing a cement median. Tim helped move her car, clean out her contents, and towed the vehicle for us. He went above and beyond anything he had to do, he did his job with empathy, and professionalism. He even answered every question I had about towing and insurance, accurately and with patience. I highly recommend CAF Wrecker. Tim did not have to offer his services to us, we asked him as his response was genuine and about what had occurred not about the job he could get out of it. I can't thank him enough for being right where he was needed, when he was needed.
I got a flat on the highway driving to a family event. I called AAA and within the hour Brian from CAF Wrecker came out. I was a bit anxious and He was extremely gracious helpful and informative. He talked me through everything he was doing, answered my questions and continued to assure me with what he was doing I would be safe. He gave me options for follow up for my car and I felt equipped and safe to drive home. He was really really great!
Needed a tow for my truck. State Farm selected CAF wrecker service. I spoke with them on the phone at 8 am to provide some details about the size of my truck to make sure they sent the appropriate size wrecker. She said they would have one out in a hour or so. Four hours later and saying they needed 30 more mins over and over.... They cancel all together. If you can't handle the job then don't take the job. Not impressed and wasted half my day. One star for sure!
If you get assigned CAF Towing through roadside assistance, dont depend on them to be there. They'll commit to the roadside assistance, but they'll skip it for the higher paying tows. I waited over 3 hours for CAF to show up, never came, and Chris has a little bit of an attitude over the phone. Next time I'll pick someone else, I'll just throw a name out here, maybe AMA Towing. AMA Towing is much more deserving of your business. Very nice people. No need to respond, Chris, I'm not gonna read it, I don't care what you think. Bye Felicia!
Wow! EXCEPTIONAL service from the word GO. Polite,informative and super quick first phone call. Adam was there in 10 min flat with gas. He was on point,smiling and so so polite. He restored my faith and showed me that real men/honest men are still in this world. Ive had a rough couple of weeks and THIS/Adam made me smile and know that my God is still in control. Coming back from Florida to home in Tennessee my junk Kia died on the interstate. Called our insurance and they dispatched CAF wrecker to us. They got to us in less than 20 minutes which was a complete surprise because other times with other companies it has taken forever. They let us park our car at their shop overnight, without charging us! Even helped get it on our trailer when we come back the next day. Great bunch of guys and ladies, and we highly recommend to anyone! Thanks again, you are very much appreciated!

Was assigned this company through my insurance and they never showed up. They also lied about coming and changing my tire to my roadside assistance agent after they claimed to have completed my roadside request. Do not recommend
I rate this place is zero they are very unprofessional. I will never ever get my car towed by this place ever again literally been waiting for two months to get a rim fixed that they scratched And every week I was calling to see what was going on and every week I was getting a lie the staff there is very rude. And for someone to sit there and say that my almost $40,000 car is not important that right there is very unprofessional. Do not recommend them. I don’t even know how they’re running a business when literally you have to constantly call when there’s an issue just to hear lies after lies about how they are going to fix something.worse place ever. And to have a tow driver abuse your car almost bottom it out and then they tell you they are going to fix the issue and never do heck no never again
I needed a tow, and my insurance uses this company. I waited for 2 hours and they never showed. Finally, I called my insurance company back and told them to dispatch another company since this company refused to give an ETA. You called and asked if it was AWD. I also have a screenshot of a 17 second phone call. I wasn't told anything about being busy. Let me share my screenshots.
This was one of the worst towing experiences I’ve ever had. Car broke down on the side of the road and they were dispatched to come get me in about 60 minutes ETA. Two hours later and they still had not shown up. I had to contact them to give me an update on the ETA. When they finally arrived, the auto shop I had picked as my destination had already closed so I picked a different one and they made me pay the difference. In addition the worker that towed my car was rude and unprofessional. If I get stuck again on the side of the road somewhere and CAF Wrecker is assigned to my tow, I will cancel and choose another one.
Had to get our vehicle towed for service through AAA. CAF came to our rescue very quickly. The driver was really helpful and friendly. We’re very thankful!
I am astounded at how professional J Hook was. He arrived before the estimated time and was extremely professional and kept all communication and updates coming during a very stressful time for my husband and I. He talked to us like we were family and if I could give 10 stars I would. He even went above and beyond and called us after the tow was complete to update us and check that we were safe back home. When I say he was amazing, I truly mean it. I can’t even put into words how helpful he was. Amazing experience with CAF wrecker!!
I had a tire blow out and called AAA, they put me in touch with CAF and I am so glad they did. All the wrecker guys were out on jobs do the GIRLS came. I waited no longer than 30 minutes from the time I called AAA until I pulled back on the road
J-Hook came to rescue me from my own driveway. He was able to have my car on the flatbed in less than 10 minutes. He made me laugh in a tense situation and took my car to the dealership quickly and efficiently. He accomplished all this with Hurricane Helene debis on both sides of the driveway and at least 6 cars of neighbors waiting to pass. My favorite line of the night was, "If I would have known I'd have such an audience, I would have worn better clothes. :)
He also taught me what tool I would need to help myself in the future. I am grateful for his help and his efficiency. Thank you, J-Hook, you made a bad just a little bit better.
So I ran my car the front end of my car into a tree across from the parking lot at my job and my insurance company called these guys. Me and the security officer were there when the guy showed up. He backed his truck up. Attached a chain to my car then had the security officer turn the wheel of my car for him and pulled the vehicle onto his truck and left. I picked up a few pieces of my front end and left. My insurance informed me he charged them $1500 for things such as using special equipment, clean up, etc. I guess the special equipment was my security officer and I was the clean up crew. We didn’t receive a penny but here’s to higher premiums while they rip off insurance companies
Chris Littz, better known as "J-Hook" is the man! I have a very low project car that needs a little help from time to time with a tow truck, as most hot rods can be sometimes when they randomly break down in the absolute worst times and locations. J-Hook was very friendly on and off the telephone, on time given his ETA (I'm a commercial driver, so I definitely understand time and traffic issues that unexpectedly happen) and very skilled in his line of work. Thank you very much for all your help when it is needed the most, sir. A+ all the way around!
Corey was excellent and went above and beyond service this morning. I was in a garage and he walked with tools in hand up 3 lots. I appreciate him and everyone local should use this company because of their hospitality.

If you want to wait over Four Hoursin freezing conditions with no one showing up, then this is the company for you. Unfortunately, my insurance assigned them to assist me, but I would never hire them again.
Here’s what happened:
• At 8:38 AM, I called for a tow and was told the truck would arrive within 60minutes, the distance between me and tow company is only 6miles.
• At 9:30 AM, I followed up, and they said the driver was just leaving and needed another 30 minutes.
• At 10:20 AM—two hours after my initial call—I called again, only to learn that the driver is doing another job hadn’t even left yet! And they promise to arrive at 30 minutes.
At 11:20 I told them if they does not arrive in 30minutes I do not need the service anymore and they told me they are confident about arriving in 30 minutes.
• They promised someone would arrive in an hour, but by 11:50 AM (3.5 hours later), there was still no truck.
After 4+ hours of being stranded in freezing weather, I finally had to call another towing service to resolve the situation myself (Sadly the other company I randomly picked turn out to be his unprofessional friend, but at least he arrive in 10 minutes after I called. I learnt from local people that only he and his friend are rude and unprofessional, other tow company nearby most are of good service. The original company even tried to blame me for contacting someone else! Ridiculously, they still sent a tow truck 4 hours after my initial call (even after I told them I no longer needed their service). To add insult to injury, they demanded payment when they finally showed up
For reference, the tow fee is $275. simply pull my car out of the snow with less than 1 meter distance. I do not care because my insurance will covered it, but if you’re paying out of pocket, be prepared for them to drain your wallet without providing proper service.
I do not have time to debate with this kind of people, but I think I should let others know the truth and help them avoids the situation I encountered. Save yourself the frustration. ‼This company is unreliable, unprofessional, and completely disrespectful of their customers’ time and safety. ‼Avoid them at all costs.
J Hook and Adam were awesome!!! They were extremely professional and went out of their way to get my vehicle to a safe and secure location! I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of assistance and plan on using them in the future! Great job guys and thank you!!!
I would not recommend this company! They were dispatched to me through my insurance company last night. I called them about 15 minutes after they were dispatched. No answer! Waited about 10 minutes and called again. No answer! Tried to text them to let them know of the situation. No response! Talked to the company that's working with Nationwide for roadside service about the situation. They tried to get a hold of them. They didn't respond to them either. At this point it had been over an hour that I had been trying to get service. I would NOT recommend them to anyone! Very unprofessional for a company that states there open 24 hours. I'll be talking to my insurance company in the following days to get this company taken off there call list.
