Amazing employees, they were nice, patient, and understanding along with them being extremely helpful. If I ever need to have my car towed again this will be the company I use.
I am thoroughly pleased with Sherrill's Towing. I'm in a business that I routinely see people's vehicles needing to be towed or carried off. I've seen my share of good and not so good tow truck operators. I called Sherrill's when I was in a difficult and unforeseeable situation. Sherrill's Towing promptly arrived and was more professional and competent than I could ever hope for. I do not usually write reviews, but my recent experience with these guys was outstanding and I appreciate them so much.
one of the worst companies to call. Family was in a small wreck and the county called Sherrills. the good news they came on time. the bad news is they didnt tell us how much the tow would be...which was 600 dollars for a town over. they refused cash and were rude. when we tried to take the car out of their lot, they made it difficult to maneuver the vehicle and wanted to charge us another 150 dollars to help us load the car. pathetic losers working over there. the young girl who came along for the ride im sure isn't supposed to be working without being of age or safety gear. I hope they have their books in order since its cash only per the person working. also, I hope they are all osha approved since they have more than one employee. maybe it was the Tennessee plate...maybe its discrimination? let's see the response to this. that will determine if I blow up every online review of my experience or not.
Lee and the guys over at Sherrills towing are awesome to deal with. I've had several things towed by them. Everyone is accommodating, and they go out of your way to help
This is a HORRIBLE company to deal with. They over charges, very unprofessional with their communication, not pleasant to work with AT ALL!!!! If your vehicle needs to be towed and they are called, DONT USE THEM!!! They will give you the hardest time with YOUR PROPERTY!!! I’ve never delt with a worst wrecker. Trust me. Not worth using. BEWARE THIS COMPANY AND OWNER!!!

AAA couldn't get anyone scheduled to come tow my car home after it died while driving. I called Sherrill's and had help in less than 30 minutes. Rick or Rich (I'm not sure) was so sweet and efficient. He really made my day better, and I am so thankful for his help.
Let me tell you there is no other tow company like Sherrill's! I called right after I got hit by a truck and they were right on the spot getting to us and then towed us back to Harnett County and got us to the hospital here where my 86 year old mom wanted to go. Even let out dogs ride in the tow truck. Thank you for always going above and beyond!
Towed my car and when I went to get it the price kept changing. $320, then $350 then $450. The car was tied about 4 miles and I went the same day. Totally dishonest business practice
I called and spoke with him about coming to change out a tire for me on a trailer. He was honest with me and told me that he wasn’t able to change out the other tire off the rim so recommend someone else.. he still stopped to check on me like he said when talking on the phone and made sure everything was okay. A very pleasant man to meet and would highly recommend him for services.
Had to use them when my truck and RV were in a ditch on the side of the road in soft clay. He was there in no time, pulled me right out and we were back on our way. Fast and courteous!
My situation was very complicated and unfortunate but every time I called, I spoke with the same gentleman and he was oh so very kind and understanding. He worked something out for me that showed me that human decency is still a thing.
It was dark and rainy and I drove off the road and planted myself in a very muddy ditch. I had two towing companies tell me they couldn’t help. Sherrills came super fast and was able with knowledge and patience drag my car out of the mud. I appreciate y’all so much!! Highly recommended when you are in need.
In addition to prompt response & arrival, unmatched work ethic & professionalism, these gentlemen men were very efficient and patient. They were very understanding of the situation, maintained patience, provided clarity & reassurance of what they were doing every step of the way. They came to Spring Lake, got my rig unstuck in no time, for a very reasonable, considerable & unbeatable rate!!! They are highly recommended & will definitely get my business again!! The gentleman there allowed us to go and retrieve our items from our crashed vehicle after the hospital trip, and he was very friendly. He made sure to let us know if we needed anything at all to let him know.

John went above and beyond for me from getting my car off the highway to helping me get to a hotel to bringing my car to a shop … after I broke down on my way to Boston … he made a very difficult situation so much easier for me and the cost was reasonable !!!! This company and the owner was amazing. I needed a tow for my storage company and this company delivered outstanding and fast service. Called other wrecker companies and it was a hassle. This company no hassle no headaches. Super professional and the wrecker is a beauty. We will be using this company for future towing needs. Awesome people , If they Have to Tow your car in you don't have to warrie bout your belongings my son left A Iphone 14 pro max and my compact 40 Smiths and Wesson. Not including other belongings in his car and everything was in it were we left it. U DNT find to many honest people these days
A little later than expected, but reasonably priced, flexible, kind, and they answered the phone on the first ring, every time I called. Not to mention, a small business local to Angier NC. Good people!
The service was absolutely terrible. He was rude and cursed at me for wanting to make sure that my property was secured properly. He acted as if It was too much trouble to do the job that he is in business to do. I do not recommend Sherrille's for any services.
I've used there services twice. Both times on time, and professional . They are saved in my phone. Hopefully I won't need them for a while. But if I do, I'm confident they will not let me down.

READ BEFORE USING THIS BUSINESS!!!! My mom has been using Sherrill's Wrecking service for years and years and last week will be the absolute last time. She had a 99 vw beetle that needed to be towed because of the brakes failing. The guy that showed up acted like he didn't even know how to drive a car. When he got there he asked the normal questions and all but once my mom handed him her key he slowly got in and just fumbled around for a few minutes. This is my mom's only car and she was so worried and asked him how he was going to get it onto the truck by driving it if the brakes didn't work. He just said he had it. Well apparently he didn't have it. He drove it up onto the rollback and we honestly didn't see him secure it at all, but we gave him the benefit of the doubt because we hadn't watched the entire time. Well he towed it to the shop my mom requested but we ended up getting a call from the shop owner explaining that this man literally dropped the car off of the rollback breaking off the front bumper and tearing up the underside of her beetle, he went and picked up the bumper and pieces of it and got in the tow truck and left without saying anything to them. He called me and said the bumper came off when he unloaded it and he wanted to do the right thing and have it fixed and I told him thank you and that id let my mother know (this was right before we got the call from the shop owner). After finding out what really happened my mom called the man back and told him to bring the bumper back to the shop so they could fix it and he proceeded to tell her no that he'd like to meet up and do it multiple times. We're not sure if he was trying to come onto her or what but she told him there would be no meeting up that she wanted the bumper dropped off at the shop so they could fix it. He got ill and said oh you want to do it like that and the call ended. He has yet to return the bumper by the way! After multiple calls to the business the owner of the wrecking service finally called mom back saying he fired the man and that he would have her car fixed at another location that my mom had dealt with before and my mom told him no that it would be fixed where she trusted it and he proceeded to tell her he would go and get her car and drive it to the shop he wanted to drive it to (after being dropped the car isn't even in driving condition). So insurance has been contacted. The owner has since called our phone multiple times and after being so rude in the last phone call we've had to ignore him. He is an absolute ass to deal with. He ended up going to the shop and lying and telling them that him and mom had an agreement to take the car where he was originally wanting to take it. He's refused to refund my mom the money for her towing and has yet to pay for her car to be fixed or get her a rental since she's been without a car for well over a week now, and apparently he isn't working with the insurance company either! Beware of this backwoods towing business! Completely untrustworthy and sneaky we will never be using this business again and will warn others about how they've handled the situation. By the way, when referring to the shop he wanted to take her car too, he said they usually handle cars for him when things like this happen so obviously this isn't a rare occurrence!!
I was having car trouble and called for a tow truck. I was debating between trying to nurse it home and being picked up. After I decided to nurse it home, he told me to call when I got home so he wouldn’t worry that i was stranded and to call him right away if I got scared along the way and he’d come get me. This is more than a tow service, this is just a good family who helps people in distress. Couldn’t have been more thankful for this amazing business today.
