Very rude employees at the non-ferrous building, I have showed up two times five to ten minutes at this location before the advertised closing time and refused service.
Even after calling before driving clear across town and I was never told about some stupid cut off time
If a business closes at 3:55PM You should post that on your hours of business
The prices might higher than other places, the customer service is the worst. The employees would not respond to any questions you asked and would continue to disrespect you like are supposed to know how their stablishment work. No one answered the phone when you call.i wouldn't recommend this place.
They got some good guys working there but majority of them there are incompetent unorthodox practices and very spotty about paying you. They often run out of money or the atm doesn’t work ever .but when you have no competition you can do that I guess
Was looking for a place to get some cash to help with the end of the year office party. The staff was fantastic. the two gentlemen Camren and Austin who assisted me were outstanding. I had to call and leave a message about the guys cause they were just that awesome.
Went to this place because Wall Recycling was closed. Bad decision, worst place to go and sell scrap metal. Their prices are super low for others than metal. Didn't get near half of what I would at Wall Recycling. Also, the staff was super rude, like if they hate to work there. I do not recommend going here. Try Wall Recycling, you will see, and feel the difference.
I called to see prices and the woman who answered the phone was beyond rude and treated me like i was stupid. Many other places in the city to take stuff other than here!
Decent prices for copper, & brass. Ok prices for aluminum. Not really worth it for plain ol' scrap metal tho. I've encountered both good & bad employees. I've been bold-faced ripped off by a couple of them, & others have gone above & beyond to help or just to be nice. I will say they pay better than the one off Ramsey st.
The man that answered the phone was very rude ask me where I'm calling from and when I tell him he hangs up on me. I wouldn't take no cars to them if they were the last scrap yard in town. Poorly service learn to talk to your customers better and you could probably have a better business
These guys had a steady flow of traffic at lunchtime. They came and told some of us that were in line that they closed from 12 to 1230 for lunch. 12 o'clock came and they were still working since we had already been waiting in line. Around 1215 they tried to tell another guy that they were closing but the guy begged to let him thru bc he didn't have much. They then made the ultimate decision to work thru their lunch break. I felt so bad for the 2 guys. They really need relief to come in for lunch time or else let one guy go to lunch and then the other guy go when he comes back, so that they remain open thru out lunch. They were nice and hopefully them making that decision today will earn them a raise.
My husband and I drove more than thirty minutes to this place to get rid of our cans and other things ( like bike frames and lawnsets), before we could even get all the things out the car a worker came up and told us that they won't take the stuff because it's not metal. So u can tell if the things are metal or not before even testing it or seeing everything. So we had to put all this stuff back into the car and only give them our cans. We only been here twice and our first experience was ok and we had similar things brought to them that they took. This time they acted like they didn't have time to even check our things. Please beware of this place because that worker was very rude.
Rude employees in the yard racist attitudes. Guy named o'mack or o neal he was hiding his name tag. slow service spend 25 min waiting before you get in and another 25 min waiting to dump. I would rather give my scrap away then come back to this place nobody deserves to be treated with such disrespect
ATM is down! They issued me a check that’s been declined, go back to the business and they aren’t concerned about helping their customers, the only thing they can do is contact their treasury department “by email” which could take an undetermined amount of time for a response or load up the metal that was sold back in my truck but as far as fixing the BAD check nope they do NOTHING but accuse me of digitally altering their check. Less than $30 I have better things to do. Terrible horrible place, feel sorry for their employees.
I work in communications and go to these places all the time and let me tell you, you will get robbed here. The process of taking the material and dumping it into their mass containers before seeing a proper receipt of weight is fraud. Next, the scales are not callibrated to spec. I know because I spend the extra $5 to have my vehicle weighed to see if going back is worth my time . If it's correct, I never weigh again on my own time.
It's nothing to me to get jacked, because going somewhere else is easy. I have a truckload every week and you won't rob from me anymore.
Next my weights were switched for the products I sold to them. Again, I know because I weigh myself before and after too and my copper weight was cut 1/4 off weight. My copper weight was sold as my coax weight, they switched it. And, I had 3/8" coax that was sold as CATV cable, real dumb! Lol that's ok, I caught y'all, and I won't be coming back, y'all could have made a lot of money off of me as a local vendor, but you decided to screw the wrong guy. Bad business doesn't last long, note does the management leading it.
I know I could have made tripple at another location. You lost a local vendor, tisk tisk.
The rudest customer service ever I called to ask for prices some guy answered the phone I asked about pricing about material he had an attitude already and hung up on me . They’d never get my business thank goodness I called before I drove up there .
Very hard to find time to get there for people who work jobs during the only time they're open and are off on days they're closed. Maybe open on Saturdays from noon to 4?? Just a suggestion.
Waited in line for 45 minutes. Then told sorry we are closing for lunch. Will never come back here again to a sorry company like this. Don’t understand how you are even open for business with customer service such as bad as this.
I would give zero stars if it was an option, very rude disrespectful staff, no sense of urgency or organization. Rip off prices 3 cents a pound that's insane.
