Shout out to Rodney! He helped me find the replacement for my headlight bulb. He took me over to pick out the bulb, at no point did I feel like he was trying to sell me the most expensive item- just honest service. The placement of the bulb was in a difficult spot, but he seriously put in effort to reach it so that he could replace it for me. Definitely my store of choice for any car needs moving forward

Had a lot of help from Kevin this evening coming into the store right before they closed, he was very hands on and professional and intelligent. Also Brian team iphone stepped in where i was slacking a bit and between the three of the great men in the back there we were able to solve my problem swiftly and efficiently! Thanks A Bunch!!!!

I was driving my son’s 2016 Volvo S60 from Texas to him in Virginia when a message came on to add a quart of oil. I’m not really a car person, I didn’t know if it could be a more serious issue and whether I needed a mechanic but my husband told me just to stop at an O ‘Reilly’s for oil. Luckily, when the car message for oil came on and when I was texting with my husband, I was right across the street from the Burlington Rd store in Whitsett, NC as I got off the interstate for both gas and food. Put O’Reilly’s in my GPS and miraculously it was right there. I pulled in O’Reilly’s wondering if the car could finish the long trip and wishing I had shipped the car to my son instead of going on such a long trip with a 10 year-old car. Brian helped explain that it’s not uncommon for turbo-engine cars like this to burn some oil and that given the long trip it made sense that it might need a quart. He explained this in a neighborly way that was genuinely understandable. He found the right oil, poured it into my car for me, and the car and I went on our way in minutes. Am writing this review from my son’s house and he is happy to have his old car in his drive. Glad I didn’t keep driving it with that message on and I am glad that I didn’t waste time and money taking the car to a mechanic’s shop or dealership for a problem that with O’Reilly’s help I could fix. I’ve never been in an O’Reilly’s and thought it was completely self-serve but it’s clearly a lot more than that. Very impressed. Thank you Brian and O’Reilly’s for helping, and I won’t hesitate to stop in an O’Reilly’s again.

The manager, Rodney, was very helpful with changing my battery in my 2019 Mercedes E300. I’ve been to other auto power stores who refused to help with my make & model, but it was no problem for him!! Very happy!

Poor customer service experience. While shopping, the female employee loudly called all of the male employees liars and questioned them about the location of her phone for several minutes. I kept waiting for the parents, or a manager, to break up the situation as it began to escalate. Later at checkout, when I asked the female employee about a product, I was told to just go look it up myself. I returned the item that I purchased, since part of the purchase includes the service. I went to Auto Zone and purchased the item instead. Auto Zone provided much better customer service.

Pulled up with a flat tire. Was told that they don’t replace tires which is perfectly legit but I was saddened that neither of the two men in the store even offered to help me (woman by myself) to put on my spare. Chivalry is dead.

Bryan is the best! Helped me find the parts I needed to fix a bottom plastic panel on my car. Was having problems on the freeway and I was able to get back on the road in minutes.

Looked up what I needed on the app. App said it was in stock. Walked up to the counter and showed the employee. He went straight back and got it, took it out for me to look at. I purchased the part and it worked great

The place to go if you just need to pick up something. Don’t go for car battery. Horrible experience. First the guy acted like he was bothered when I said I needed battery checked. Second Customer coming in held door open for him coming out and he didn’t even say thank you. He checked and said yes need battery. Third He took off in store did not wait for me or hold door. What’s up with no courtesy or respect holding door for customer. After ringing up battery I said you will install and he informs me no. Needs professional installation. There you go they are not professional’s. So why do I as a adult female want to buy a battery I can’t put in. Nope! Luckily my car cranked and I drove to Auto Zone where I had excellent customer service and YES they installed my battery.

Never had an issue before till now , came in to turn some rotors and assistant manager don’t know how . It’s been over a year since I last tried to get them to turn some . Just comes to show the effort they put in to learn something that has to do with their job .

I went in to buy wipers and wanted to buy rain X the member told me that they will not fit on my truck and the other member told me that the wipers were too dry that’s why they were making noise so i got my money back and went to advance auto in Burlington and bought the same wipers and the young man went to my truck and put them on no problem so I tipped him, I will not come back to this store.

The staff here is great! As a female who's not really interested in cars but needs to maintain mine, these folks are indispensable. They'll find what you need and can oftentimes help with things like headlight bulb replacement, antifreeze and the proper type of windshield wash fluid for this area. I'm from Florida and had no idea there was even such a thing as "freeze-resistent fluids". Reasonable pricing and a convenient location.

I went in for a battery check and change. The check was fine; sure enough I needed a new battery. But they refused to do it because of the car’s make and model (Cadillac SRX). He told me not to go to a dealer, so I went down to Auto Zone who easily, wfoficiwntly and professionally provided the service for me. Auto Zone made a customer for life.

I called in with an inquiry for multiple parts. I spoke to Marcia or Marcy which just happens to be the manager. She was rude and unprofessional. Very impatient and emotional, Yes I did have a lot of questions but I'm trying to make sure I'm getting the right info/parts and she's rushing me. How does a manager not know why the national part is better yet it cost 3X more . Do your homie work.. All of the unnecessary yelling about a line forming in the store was unnecessary She needs to calm down and work on her attitude when dealing with the public. The manager should set the right example not create a problem. Will definitely call corporate about this....... I did call back and spoke to a polite, patient and professional rep named Anthony. He was knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Thank you Anthony, you're an asset to this company.

Immature and rude employees. This is not the First time! I brought back a Cigarette Light Air Compressor, the box says it will pump up any tire. It does not work. I wanted to return it. Anthony decided to have an attitude about my return. I’m not mad at Anthony because he did not make this product, so why would Anthony get so defensive about this product and assume I was lying. Point of this review is, this store needs better management and customer service. Inventory at this location is great

I purchased 1 wheel cleaner for 7.46 on Thursday 27 .I was charged 2 times by the cashier, who told me that he was just a driver and really didn't know what he was doing. I called my bank twice and they are going to dispute the second charges. I also went back to the store in Whitsett twice and the manager said that she could not take it off after showing her my documents from my bank. It's not the 7.46 . It's the principle. They don't need someone working the register if they don't know what they are doing. Bad business for O Reilly in Whitsett NC. Be careful when using a card there .

I visited this store for the first time two weeks ago to purchase a car battery for my crossover. The gentleman sold me the wrong size battery and told me that they couldn’t install the battery. I found out the battery was the wrong size after driving to Durham to have the battery installed and my mechanic told me it was too big. I visited the O’Reillys in Durham on hwy 54 and Drake who assisted me with the return and purchase of the correct battery was AWESOME!!!!!! He spoke to his manager, told him my story that I had just purchased this battery from another O’Reillys 45 mins ago and I was sold the wrong size so the manager let me return it. (I had driven to the store with the new incorrect battery installed). AND, Drake installed the battery with no problem! He said he didn’t know why they didn’t do it there because if they did, they would have known it was the wrong size! He also sold me some felted round pads to use to protect the battery from erosion! He saved me a lot of hassle and his customer service was on point! Sometimes, being a female walking into an auto parts store or repair shop they will tell and sell a woman anything! Thank You Drake for fixing my issue!
