What a piece of Gold! A used diesel truck destination! The trucks may be used but you cannot tell it! These trucks are the closest thing to NEW as anyone could ever expect! There is more knowledge in that building than any other dealership in this country! I was blown away and so will you! Brookbank Auto Exchange is AMAZING!

Buyer Beware!!!! Traveled 10 hours round trip to purchase a truck from Brookbank Auto Exchange. While on the way home the transmission started to slip. I immediately contacted Brookbank Auto Exchange and was assured that the transmission was "inspected" and in good shape. After having the truck inspected locally it was determined (within 15 minutes) that it needed a new transmission control valve body assembly along with all new gaskets, seals, and transmission fluids. Steve Brookbank (owner) refused to offer any assistance with the repair costs and basically told me good luck. We will not help you in anyway. If you plan to buy a vehicle from Brookbank know that their "inspection process" is less than detailed or comprehensive and if and when you have an issue Steve Brookbank will not do the right thing for his customers. The vehicles are purchased at an auction in Texas, shipped to North Carolina, washed and placed on the lot with false claims of proper inspections. Take your chances if you want but I would not recommend Brookbank Auto Exchange and never purchase another vehicle from this organization.

I purchased a 2012 F350 from Mr. Rick Harris recently and it was hands down the easiest and best truck buying experience I've ever had. These guys are easy to deal with and have great inventory of diesel trucks. If they don't have what you're looking for they can get it. This day in time there are alot of people who don't run business the way it should be done meaning keeping to your word but these guys do. If you're looking for a honest deal and making a deal with people who value their word this is the place to go.

These guys were by far the best experience I have had. They sold me a great truck at a fair price. No hassles. Bought a truck from them a Lil over 2 years ago with the warranty. Rear end starting making a noise so I took it to my local dealer and got it looked at. Come to find out it needed all new bearings. Called the warranty company and the sent there inspector out and the denied my claim due to water getting into it... i never had the rear end in water. I called Rick and explained my situation to him and he was more than willing to talk to the warranty company and get me some assistance for the repair. I no longer live in the area down there and am 6 hours away now but when it's time to get another truck he will be the first one I go to. The amount of service and willingness he offered 2 years after the purchase was incredible. Never have I ever experienced customer service like that with anything I ever purchased. Brookbank Auto gets a 5 star rating from our family. 12-01-2023, we make the 51 minute ride to the dealership because so many people gave great reviews on this lot. THEY WERE NOT WRONG! My son purchased an F250 from Rick which was probably one of the cleanest truck we have seen! This group takes pride in what they sale and it shows. If you’re looking for a truck and somehow end up at Brookbank I would highly recommend having it checked by a mechanic beforehand. I found what I thought was the perfect truck for me there but boy was I wrong. First I’ll start by saying the only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because Rick was friendly, the buying process was painless, and they do have some very clean trucks. I purchased a 2015 F150 Platinum from them back in July. About 2 weeks after owing it I started having all sorts of electrical issues. I called Rick and told him what was going on and he said to bring it back and he would have one of his shops look at it. Which was a nice gesture but I also live 2 hours from there and I was not about to drive a truck with no ac 2 hours in the middle of July. I thought maybe it was just a fluke and I’m pretty mechanically inclined so I managed to resolve that on my own. Ended up being a broken wire in the seat back that was shorting out the ms can network, no big deal was basically free to fix. That’s when things got really bad. Not long after that it started having a really hard shift going into 4th gear.I tried changing the fluid but I think at that point it was too late. About 2 weeks later it went out completely. I also noticed the engine started knocking slightly which progressively got worse. I’m pretty particular about who works on and what parts go on my vehicles so I decided to take it to my local Ford dealer. Turns out the truck needed cam phasers, timing set, water pump, and a new transmission. 12,300 dollars to have it fixed by Ford. They were also gracious enough to sell me their junk warranty from Freedom Warranty. I won’t get into all of that all I can say is if you are thinking about purchasing the warranty make sure you read the contract before you buy. The little pamphlet they show you makes it seem like it’s way better than it is and when you actually read the contract they don’t cover anything( lesson learned not reading the contract beforehand). I bought the vital plan for 3500 and it’s a 5 year 100k mile coverage and they did end up approving the claim but they would only cover 6,000 of it due to their limit of liability which is listed in the contract. So basically I’ve had the truck since July maybe drove it 6 weeks before it was no longer drivable. The warranty process takes forever and I still don’t have it back after 2 months at the dealer. Oh yea and I have to pay 6,300 dollars to have it fixed after already paying 30,000 for the truck and another 3,500 for the terrible warranty that they talked me into buying. Looks like I’m not the only one with this experience so hopefully this review will save somebody else from having an experience like mine

These guys are absolutely fantastic! We went by there on a Saturday found the truck I wanted but really didn't like the wheels on it. Thomas offered me another set that they had bought to install on another truck. He had to have the owner come by to let me see the wheels. I loved them so while I was signing the paperwork on the truck Thomas and the owner were installing the new wheels and tires! I just can't say enough about the service and the dedication these guys offer. Also I've had the truck for about 3 weeks and already put about 2000 miles on it and haven't had one problem! Just goes to show that your not getting someone else's junk! Love the truck and will definitely be back for my next one!!!

Spoke with Rick Harris and he answered all of my questions and the next day we drove up and the truck was just as represented and more. These guys are awesome. My salesman was Thomas U. He was super polite and very very professional. I bought a 2014 Dodge from them that was exactly as represented online. U won't find cleaner trucks in this area for the prices they have! I even pointed out the truck had a leak before purchasing it. Thomas and Jeff told me take it home for the weekend and enjoy it and drop it off Monday and they will have it fixed no issue. I will be back for my next truck and I will be sending everyone I know that is looking for a truck or car to them! In addition! Our truck search brought us to BrookBank from across the state. Jeff was quite professional and knowledgeable. Not only did they reassure us the truck was in good repair, he took our time seriously and made our fastest sale we've experienced, in a positive manner. We are very happy with our new truck. We are completely satisfied and would absolutely recommend. Update: Our star rating downgraded from a 5 to a 3. Our initial experience is the same. But after a few days driving the truck we our speedometer act up on us. We took it into Ford for a full inspection to find out the ABS system was out. Jeff boasted that they stand behind their trucks and "anything reasonable that happens in the first 30 days" call them. I called, sent the invoice to them and was told they'd look into it. Never heard back. Had they followed what they said,they would have backed up a very great initial experience. Unfortunately now they can be expected to be like all other dealerships.

Not enough good can be said about the guys at Brookbank Auto Exchange. Jeff and Thomas went above and beyond. Not only did we get a good deal, but when flying in from another state we were met at the airport. Our truck was fueled and ready for our trip home.
