They placed an ad on my car that would not come off the windshield. I had to scrape for over an hour and it still isn’t coming off. If I was interested in their services, I would have searched for it. They wouldn’t answer the phone or call back to even speak about the issue.
My car had some hail damage that I needed to get taken care of. I really enjoyed working with April and could tell she was genuinely trying to help me instead of trying to rip me off. The work was done quickly and April was accessible every step of the way.
Never been and never will be. This company damaged my car sideview mirror by literally shoving their advertisement into it at my apartment complex. I see based on other reviews that they’ve done this before. I’ll be sure to tell everyone I know to specifically avoid this business. Leave my home alone.
Minor damage to front fender got fixed very quickly and easily. April was very sweet and friendly and explained everything carefully. Reasonable prices as well.

I called early in the week and asked if I needed an appointment to have my vehicle looked at and they told me no, just bring it by before 4:30 any day. Called at 3:45 on a Friday to confirm that someone would be able to look at it and they said no, the guy is leaving in a few minutes. He told me the body guy would be there Saturday working and that I could come by after 9am for him to look at it. I stopped by and the guy inside said they are closed, come back on Monday. I explained what I had been told and he said he had no idea why they would have said that and I need to come back during the week.
Absolutely great service. A very hard part to find, it took a few weeks, but they didn't stop. Found it, fixed it & now all is well. The ones, the only ones, you should use.
I’ve used them, they are pretty amazing. Did a fantastic job refinishing a hood that someone had absolutely butchered previously. They did the job correctly too, not some dodgy hillybilly paint and bake job, truly professional. April was friendly and communicated very well. Have recommended anyone in need to them and will continue to do so. Full disclosure, I am a dealer and have my own body facilities available with a short drive and I choose to use gate city due to quality and convenience
I chose Gate City Auto because all the body shops on my insurance list were booked for months. Im glad they were because they did a great job. They told me is was going to be a week and it was only a few days. April was very friendly and professional. When I went in it felt like I was talking to someone that I have known forever.

Certainly, having an auto accident is about as unpleasant an experience you can have – especially, when the @#%$ accident is your own fault - nope, wasn’t texting, drinking or fishing that scratched Journey CD out from between the seats; thanks for asking...The actual and fairly embarrassing circumstances of the ‘accident’ will remain forever between me and my somewhat bemused insurance agent.
Truly, I could not have been happier with the service at Gate City. My car was repaired as promised and looked as good as it did the day I bought it – seriously. April was extremely pleasant and kept me advised on part delays and such. The car was ready on time and at the quoted price. Excellent customer service all around – a rarity these days for sure.

Had the misfortune of coming in contact with some animals as i traveled down I40. Took my car originally to crown and was referred to GCAB by the manager there because he claimed they “are great people, do great work, and are fairly priced.” Well all of those came to be true. The animals that i hit did just shy of $1k dollars worth of damage and everything was explained to me and April was very transparent in her explanations of prices and that impressed me as a customer a great deal. If they run into anything else while under it they will notify you first prior to doing anything extra than was outlined for you in the beginning. Their mechanics are top notch, awesome work and awesome shop over there. They even detail the interior of your vehicle upon completion, a very nice finishing touch. Highly recommend GCAB.
Exceptional service by the staff, very honest and good quality work. I recently got my 2002 Nissan Maxima serviced for a deer accident - the car came back in 4 days looking brand new. I highly recommend this place to anyone needing body jobs. Keep up the great work.
I recently had 2 cars repaired at Gate City. One was an extensive complete paint job on an older Suburban. The quality of the workmanship on both vehicles is outstanding. April and Mariana kept me informed along the way. MIguel did an outstanding job on both cars. Had a great expirence at Gate City Auto Body. I initially decided on GCAB when I saw they consistently had great reviews. The reviews were correct, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable l staff. My car came out looking like new. Great work, highly recommended.
Service was excellent. I called a major body shop at first but they weren't really willing to help me understand my problem at all. Even after I gave descriptions and scenarios they still wouldn't help me they just told me to "bring it in" and the price was 50 dollars just to look at the car! Did some Google searching and found this gem. No bad reviews and those reviews weren't lies. I called them and they treated me with so much love and respect over the phone and told me every possible thing that could be wrong with my leakage under the vehicle. Went in and they worked with me with great prices. They even wanted to hold they car longer to make sure they didn't miss anything and that everything checked out. Such an awesome body shop. Definitely go to them! Gate City Auto body is the best in greensboro, heck dare I say even the triad! Even got to meet the owner and he is cool as well as the mechanics! #AGGIEPRIDE
