The dispatcher and the guy in the tow truck were amazing very friendly respectful as can be to my wife when she broke down cant thank them enough for the quick response time

Absolutely rude: they were called via AAA, and did not know how AAA works - vehicle does not have to belong to me, I just have to be riding and with the vehicle (this was verified with a AAA supervisor). Also, did not understand that I had a different mode of transportation due to my dog being present. They did not consult me about my desire for towing before leaving/closing my service request and then refused to tow. Therefore I had to call AAA back and start the process over to get a different towing company. Would not recommend this company.
I was four hours from home. Had a flat tire on a 16 foot box truck. The service from Maddie and Tony were outstanding. Located where I was and got me back and running within an hour. Would highly recommend.

Came timely and towed my car to designated service spot. I didn’t like getting a text for payment before any other communication. I didn’t even know who was coming, when they were coming, and I wasn’t familiar with the company. I paid it on good faith, but a text beforehand stating who you were, that you had been contacted by AAA, and what the charge was for would have been more appropriate.
I called AAA to have my daughter’s car towed after it became disabled while she was doing evening grocery deliveries. They sent Watkins Towing & Recovery and even though it was 9:30 when I called the request in, the driver was there by 10:00. She was very nice, courteous and very professional. She took great care of my daughter’s car during the loading and unloading on the rollback into our driveway. That was the best ‘towing’ experience I’ve ever had. Thank you!!
I really appreciate Watkins Towing. The tow courtesy is appropriate and they didn't make me feel it was my fault where I broke down at or my lack of knowledge where I needed to go next to resolve the problem. A senior as myself doesn't need the sense of more insecurity in these already stressful situations. Thanks.
My van was totaled and I didn’t have a way to meet the tow truck so they could get the keys. The driver came to my house to get the keys from me before picking up the van. He was very friendly and very professional. 10 out of 10.
Tow Service was good. Just seemed like it took forever to get there. Sitting on the side of I40 was not a pleasant experience. DOT stopped by twice while we were waiting.The lady I talked to said they would move us up 30 minutes. But it was still the original time quoted.
Absolutely amazing service. The man who came out was efficient but also helpful in teaching me how to do things should I have the same problem in the future. Felt like helping out my dad in the garage.

The tow truck driver was polite, courteous, and knowledgeable very helpful in trying different ways to jumpstart the battery in the car which led to a bad starter then having to towing us and the tow all went very well and the driver was just also nice and easy to deal with thanks.
Had a blowout of a tire, got to a parking lot and contacted AAA. Technician very pleasant, changed the tire and made sure our spare was properly inflated.
Initial estimate was 60 minutes, but they got there in 20. The driver was great, too: he asked me what the issue with the car was, and when I described the issue, he (accurately!) described what he thought was broken, which saved me a lot of time diagnosing the issue.

My car broke down on 26 March 2025. My wife called Watkins towing and my Chrysler 200 was picked up and dropped off at my mechanic in Kernersville. I met the tow truck there to get the key. He was disconnecting from my car and I noticed it took a couple of times. It was stuck on something but it didn't register yet. I was focused on getting the car fixed because my grandson needed it for work. When I picked up the car after the repair I heard a noise on the way home. When I looked under the vehicle I saw the splash guard was damaged. Also the inner wheel wells were damaged. I called Watkins about the issue and they told me the boss would be calling. I sent him pictures of the damage and went and got an estimate of the damage. I called Watkins again and they text me to get a estimate which I already have done. I sent them the estimate and then I got a call from the boss. He agreed to take care of it. I had already started the process to get it fixed because my grandson needed it for work. So I paid the 689.00 dollars out of pocket. I waited a couple of weeks when I called back Watkins because I received no check. So here we are me writing a review of a company you should think twice about using. If you use this company and they damage your car they seem to disappear. I have all the text pictures and receipts to prove my claim. Kernersville must not be a good place to retire. Between Watkins towing and Parks chevy dealer I've lost over a 1000 dollars. Be careful out there.
After management changes the owner sent me a check. I'm glad that this issue could be resolved. Thanks..
The two gentlemen that came out to rescue my daughter and I were awesome. They came out after hours and stayed until the tire was changed on our rental RV. The roadside assistance through the rental had given them the wrong information so they had to call out a second guy with a bigger Jack it was kind of a nightmare but they stayed and made sure we were taken care of which was fantastic since we were in an unfamiliar state. I would absolutely use your company again and please tell them thanks again for both of us!
Great people and great company. Came to do a towing for me on Saturday morning. Came quick and price was very reasonable. Also the price they gave me over the phone was the one we got charged. Will definitely use them again, and would definitely recommend if any one in the area is in need. thank you for your great service
Service was good. I am gonna take the time recognize the dispatcher and her fast response. She called me within minutes of making roadside request on the AAA app. She was very nice and all too often the dispatchers are never recognized for a job well done. So Kudos. The service tech was nice and showed within the time frame that was quoted to me. I did feel they were a little on the pricey side costing an additional $286 out of pocket (because my AAA plan sucks and will be changed) to go 44 miles. But other than it being pricey I would recommend and use them again if needed.
If you are affiliated with AAA and changed my flat tire on Sunday, I thank you so very much. The young man who did the work had the old shredded tire removed, and the new spare put on in five minutes or less. He was friendly, quick, and did a great job.
My daughter’s car wouldn’t start. He was able to give her a jump and just in case it died again, followed her to the repair shop. As a (stressed) mom up in Philly, I’m so thankful for his care! She’s safe and car is taken care of. Thank you!
When contacted by Stephen, said he'd be at my house to take flar tire off and replace with my donut spare. He said he'd be here in 25 minutes. Arrived earlier. Then got his tools needed out and went to work. He had successfully completed the swap out in 15 minutes and then he was on his way to his next service call. Superior service. Highly recommend.
AWESOME ROAD SIDE SERVICE. FIXING MY FLAT TIRE. HAD MY TIRE REPLACED AND BACK ON THE ROAD. AFTER ARRIVING AND IN ABOUT 20 MINUTES. VERY PROFESSIONAL AND WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IF EVER NEEDED. VERY CONCERNED ABOUT MY SAFETY AND EXPLANATION ABOUT DRIVING ON THE DONUT SPARE TIRE. HE PUT MY JACK AND EVERYTHING BACK THE WAY THAT HE FOUND IN MY TRUNK
Both the driver and dispatcher (uggg…can’t remember their names) at Watkins were nice, friendly and responsive to questions even though it was a busy Sunday afternoon & evening. Great customer service by both. Driver had the vehicle on the flat bed and secured in no time and when we arrived at the destination had the vehicle off in no time. Definitely would recommend to others.
