Terrible customer service by one of the receptionist. Middle aged lady should be doing a different job if answering phones and talking to customers is too hard and causes her to be rude. She must be part of the owners family because that’s the only way I can imagine for her to still be employed with them. Service was what you expect from a tow company, but she made the process a grueling experience. Will add name if I can find out so you all can know which of your employees is disrespecting your customers. Edit: Not Mandy, she was pleasant. The other receptionist, terrible.

My car was towed yesterday after a hit&run and no price or pay rate given during the pickup process. And now today they are charging $305 and the vehicle has not been in their lot of 24 hours. Don't have this company tow ANYTHING unless you want a total ripoff. Disrespectful and rude on the phone too. Y'all need to get the customer service up to par.

The receptionist is very rude!!!!! I would hate to have my car towed here and have to call and ask questions. She doesn't state her name so cannot list. Tried to get information for my boyfriend because unfortunately he wrecked his car and if you ever wrecked your car you know it's an upsetting time. She continues to reiterate her answers as if she's an automated system, lacked empathy, and tried to rush me off the phone! VERY RUDE WOULD HATE TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY BASED OFF THE FIRST PERSON YOU SPEAK TO IS RUDE AND YOU CAN TELL SHE HATES HER JOB

One of the drivers pulled a hit-and-run on my vehicle while he was dropping off another vehicle at a repair facility on Battleground ave. Got the run around after exhausting a bunch of time looking at recorded camera footage with a GSO police officer who got the name & number off the tow truck in the video. They would not cooperate with the insurance company after they reluctantly gave me the insurance information. I’m left to fix my vehicle’s crushed taillight assembly, dent & paint repair at my own expense . What else is there to say? Very disappointing to say the least.

Unfortunately my car was totaled, but there were important items I left in my vehicle. Two months later, I went back and spoke to the owner who kindly and pleasantly let me take my belongings out of my car at no cost. Thank You so much for working with me. Other tow company's would've charged to get those items out.

Tow Truck Driver Stole Money — Completely Unprofessional AND will not work with your situation. My friend had just been in a serious accident. When the tow truck driver arrived, he didn’t even speak to me or my friend who was in an accident. He then proceeded to move her vehicle without her knowledge, and was going to take it to their garage without letting her know. When I spoke to him he was uncourteous, and told me he needed cash right there to take it to her home. If I didn’t have it, he would not wait for me to get back. I frantically left to get money. When I came back with the money, frustrated about his lack of courtesy, he proceeded to cuss at me. I gave him $220 to deliver to high point area. When he delivered the vehicle, he gave a receipt to another person, and the money for the tow trip was less than what I gave him. He did not provide any change. Poor treatment after a scary accident.

My car was towed to regional towing, it wasn’t there 24 hours and they charged me for 2 day’s $180. When I got my car back, I noticed there was damage on the passenger side fender when I asked them about it. They said they would speak to a manager and someone would call me back. It’s three weeks later no phone call … When I call back, I was told it’s nothing they can do. So I’ll have to spend money to take them to small claims court and see what happens. Do not use this company under any circumstances. They are terrible. It’s a small Rinky dink company. That is just out for Money and could care less about their customers.. There are too many other professional companies out out there. Don’t deal with this one…

The guy that towed my vehicle was super nice, KUDOS to Steve everything went smooth, I was very pleased, The only issue is that the receptionist is one of the rudest people I've come across in yearsssssss, even when she answers the phone all she says is Regional... I'm like well excuse me Good Morning to you to they need someone that's a people person & knows how to talk to the public & ditch that attitude cause obvious she's not..

We flew in to pick up our vehicle and had already talked to several people throughout the week and gave proper proof before even arriving. We were told that this was a 24 hour facility and we could pick up anytime. After getting off our flight, taking a Lyft to the records office to obtain the documents that we need to pick up our vehicle. We take a Lyft to Rac towing and they are closed. We call them and we get a very rude woman by the name of Wendy. She immediately tells that we can pick up at 12am because they are not 24 hours and we need to meet someone at 9am the next day. She also tells us to text her the documentation she needs and we do so right away. We take a Lyft back to Rac Towing at 8:40am the next morning and wait. No one is there at 9am ,so I call the number, we spoke with Wendy again, (who I found out was the owner) last night answers and tells us that we did not send proper information and she did not tell us to be there at nine. After yelling at me and over talking me while Im politely trying to explain what we were told the night before, she yells that she did not tell us to meet someone there at 9am. I send her the proof of her texting that to us. Finally she apologizes and send Robbie to meet us. Who then tells that we need cash and no one has said this prior. We have to then Lyft again to an ATM to get cash. Robbie waits for us and we are finally able to get our vehicle. Robbie was Awesome by the way. Wendy not so much. We are in our vehicle by 10:15 but by this time. I’m soaked from rain because no one ever actually let us in the building. Wendy immediately treated/talked to us like we were trash.

They are the most unprofessional people that I have ever had to do business with. They say to come get my things and when I get there they wouldn’t let me near the car. Pretty pathetic. Why tell me to come my things if you aren’t going to let me get them??? Nonsense!! BUYER BEWARE!!! THERE ARE HONEST PEOPLE IN GREENSBORO THAT WILL TREAT YOU WELL.

Got into an accident maybe 2 miles away from their tow lot. Tried to get some very important medical equipment and documents out maybe 3-4hrs after the accident and the lady at the front desk wouldn’t allow that to happen unless I paid the tow bill of $178 while there’s a sign on the gate saying “get your items, we are not responsible for anything lost or stolen” and she had nothing but attitude with me. Offered my title to get my things out but was still expected to pay cash. Maybe she thinks she needs to be aggressive since she’s a woman, not sure but whatever it is it’s not working. Real fast tow in a pinch but these vehicles aren’t connected to human beings to them. If you use them, get everything out your vehicle before they tow you away. Savages.

Robert was awesome! I got a flat at my mom’s on Christmas and it’s a hybrid so I didn’t have a spare. I called Volvo on Call super early the next morning and Robert called me within 10 min and was there before I knew it. He towed me to the Volvo dealership and let me wait in his truck until they opened and made sure I was all set to go. So thankful for his kindness and help so early the day after Christmas!

The tow truck driver who helped us was fantastic; our rental car got a flat tire on The highway and they were there in no time. They worked with us to make sure the car got to the right place since we had to leave the car to catch a flight - Incredibly helpful!

I am very pleased and thankful for Regional Auto Center. My son and I got a complete flat on the side of Highway 29, and Regional Auto was there to help us within a matter of 10 minutes. I’ve never had such quick service and got it quickly to my home safely. Thank you Regional for helping to save us today! Highly recommend their services.

After an exhausting day, the last thing I expected was my car not to start. Not wanting to deal with it, I jumped in a Uber home but knew I couldn’t leave my car in East Greensboro over night. RAC was contacted on my behalf to tow my car to the dealership. I must say, the highlight of my day. I learned so much about my vehicle in such a short time. The driver was funny, knowledgeable, professional and speedy. Get this, it was his first day on the job. At least that’s what he told me. I would definitely recommend this company. If I could give 10 stars I would. Great Job!!!

My daughter had an accident in Greensboro. We had a tow truck on the way but the driver for this company told my daughter that he wouldn’t charge her anything to “get the car out of the road, and your driver can just pick it up at our lot. When we arrived to Regional Auto Center they would not unload the car until we paid $180.00 in cash. If it cost $180 please let people know up front. My 20 year old daughter was scared and upset and trusted the people to “help” her. Terrible business practices.

If I could have given zero stars I would have. One of the drivers gave me the middle finger when I drove by him today after I had waited for him to back up and get turned around in the road. When I called the company # to ask for the managers name and if he would be in on Monday explaining what just happened with one of the drivers, the man that answered the phone told me there was no way the driver did that and hung up on me. I will continue to spread the word not to use this company to any and everyone I know.

We had the unfortunate incident of having my 84 year old mom's car from out of state stolen from our driveway Christmas night, and abandoned in Greensboro three days later. Law enforcement had to have RAC promptly and artfully retrieved the vehicle after four hours of cancellations by AAA providers. Rebecca at the facility was overly kind and the whole staff was very sympathetic to the situation. Dealing with RAC was like a ray of sunshine after a very negative event.

would have given 5 stars but nobody Likes having to pay high impound fees. that being said I absolutely would have to say that these guys are very professional, prompt, and courteous. RAC towing will be the ones I call if I ever need a tow . keep up the great work you guy and thank you for your fast and professional service.

I was in a vehicle accident and this company towed my vehicle . After going to retrieve items out of my vehicle I notice an item was missing and you could tell someone was going through it because there was oil prints all over bags, papers and other items . I contacted the manager and he was very rude and unprofessional basically didn’t care that an item was stolen while in this company’s possession. Refused to give me the name of the male who towed my car . The woman at the front desk was not as rude but basically stated it was a curiosity to let people get items out of there car . Which makes absolutely no sense it’s my vehicle you can’t refuse someone access to there vehicle . Now I’m at the point to making a police report.

Having used Regional Auto Center services to repair my truck's quarter panel I'm very happy with the work that was done. A few years ago a driver decided to change lanes while at a red light without looking for any vehicles approaching. This resulted in a very minor dent to my truck. Regional decided that the entire quarter panel would have to be repainted. I was concerned that the paint would not match the rest of the truck. Well it came out perfect and still looks great. The truck was finished on time and washed and vacuumed. A+ business.

Regional Auto Center is amazing! They handled my situation with sensitivity and care. My first impression of the place was that they were amazing people. Both the receptionist and the manager, Mr. Kendrick, were very professional and kind. The part to my car was painted and ready for pickup within 24 hours. I highly recommend Regional Auto Center. My experience made my day.

This is the second time my truck has had body work done at Regional. This experience was every bit as good as my first. I have had excellent communications and service. The quality is very satisfactory and I'm very picky. I am surprised at some of the low rate reviews that have been posted. This place has been first class as far as I am concerned. I would recommend them to any of my friends!

I am 18 years old, and I got into a car wreck that was caused by my tire popping. When I got my first car wreck, I didn’t know what to do, and after a lot of research and people helping me out, I decided to go to the regional auto center when I got into my wreck. First things first, when they came, they took their sweet time, and when I was asking questions about the process of everything the man who was towing my car was very impatient and very unprofessional. However, I was stressed, not upset by any means, and I wanted to know as much information as possible so I would know what to do from that point forward. First things first they have a really high towing rate, something the tow Man refused to disclose to me before he got my car, And the company itself when I called up there. I looked on the website and the tow rates are higher in real life than they are on the website. And there’s hidden fees. I was NOT allowed to get my Papers or anything after he towed-that car, or my clothes, work badge, until I gave them the money or my title . They would call my phone demanding that I gave them the title or I couldn’t see my stuff again, and when I asked ‘why’ They said that I agreed to that when I got the car towed. I ended up giving them the title so I could get my stuff because I could not afford the towing rates after a day or two. A few months later they gave me a very informal letter stating that they had sold and crushed the car. Never stating it was totaled or towed by them . A couple of months after I Was notified by my towns DMV, that a $100 civil penalty Was given to me because they said that I was still driving my car and there was no incidents given to them that I had ever had an accident. When I got into my Wreck, and gave them my title, and had turned in my tags to the DMV, I had assumed ( which I was very wrong ) that the DMV would’ve already knew that my car was totaled by the towing. My insurance company didn’t claim The accident because I only had liability insurance and I had technically gotten into collision accident. This morning I had called back to ask for a more formal letter or something to state that that car was there, and that they claimed it to be totaled out, Only to be told by the operator and the manager, that yes they remember that the car was there, and they have scrapped it recently, but if I wanted a letter to say that my car was totaled and it was towed there I would have to pay $2000 because that will be paying difference on the car that I GAVE them. And on top of that he kept on trying to talk over me! I have a really soft voice, I don’t like to use my loud voice, and unfortunately I had to use my loud voice to just get one sentence out. I honestly think that this the most appalling and most horrible customer service. And for anyone who has never gone through this process and/ or are going through this for the first time please don’t go here. All I asked was a letter so that I couldn’t have to pay anymore money , I am a full-time college student and I work full-time and that is a company who truly scams on people who can’t afford to be scammed.. all for a formal letter, which they didn’t give me in the first place. I really hope that before you deal with these people you really read this. This was an honest unbiased, real review of this company. And I hope that you take your business somewhere else before you’re scammed like I was. And for the people who are already scammed it sucks and I know how you feel. Worse place I've ever been to! I went to get an estimate and from the moment I got there the receptionist was just watching the tv no one acknowledged me what so ever. A woman came out started doing my estimate taking pictures and then she ask me if she wanned her to email it to me?. Lk she wanned to get rid of me. So I told we I wanned it on paper so I can take it to a person and she made me wait in the lobby for over 25min until I ask the woman who was watching the tv and talking on the phone if they was gonna take any longer? So then I ask the white woman who was supposedly doing it for me how much longer. And she sai "I have some check ins to do that are time sensitive and have to complete them first . Then I will do your estimate" What kind of service is that?!?! so I guess I wasn't important enough for her to want my business! I will not recommend this place to anyone absolutely! Horrible service n rude!

As a fellow small business owner who works with Regional on a business level I would highly recommend for professional attention. This week however I used them personally for help towing a vehicle that had been sitting for 11 years. The guys who came out were prepared for everything! They not only had to tow a vehicle with flat tires but a locked steering column and no brakes. They were able to handle it with ease and a professional friendly attitude. Thanks guys!

I can not describe how horrible these people are. I had to use them because the City of Greensboro called for me. Took my car here, and said they could fix it. This was on Thursday before the holiday weekend. I informed them that ai was going out of town, so if they can fix it ill leave it here. They said ok, talk to James on Monday, and we can work with you with the storage fee. Monday comes around and they do not fix suspension, so I have to take it out. Ends up costing 362 dollars. Most unprofessional people I have ever met in my life. Bunch of crooks.
