They towed my clients car and charged him $500 because the car had rims and tint. I asked what form of payments they accepted and was told Zelle and cash only! And one of the drivers said they’re over charging you because of the way the car looks and because no sales have been made today!

After being left stranded for over 2 hours by AAA, I called New Era, the dispatcher took all my information, gave me an extremely fair price and told me the driver would be there in about an hour. In under an hour Nick showed up, he was very professional, clear and concise on how I could assist. He got my truck hooked up and we got on the move, when we arrived at my drop off location around midnight, he absolutely threaded the needle putting my truck in the driveway next to my vehicles without issue. From here on out, any towing needs or recommendations will be going to New Era! Thank you to all team members involved for an excellent experience!
I would give this place a zero if I could. This week has been hard enough. Then to wake up and find my car had been towed earlier this morning. I called and got no response. I finally get to place and was told my total was $360. Only to look the place up after and see that they charge whatever they feel like that day. There needs to be a statewide max fee they can charge.
We must start sending out True Bills to these towing companies! They have stolen our vehicles that we have the titles to. In the meantime, they owe us rent $$$ for as long as they have possession (using our cars without my permission) of our property. Sounds like a class action to me...And all I wanted was my car and money back. Plus, the damaged that was caused during the tow in my 4WD, smh. WE will never get anywhere moving in this type of behavior/frequency. New Era may still be on the Old Era of knowledge. I give for #Free(dom).
Horrible experience ! Towing company is a huge scam. I just moved to my apartment complex 4 days ago and my car has been towed. Mind you my parking permit is in the window and my tags are good. I call to ask why was it towed after telling guy who answered the phone my things were in order so it was no reason for them to tow. He says oh well we got a car saying you were double parked. Mind you when I pulled in yesterday I parked between two cars in front of my building so it was no way I could have double parked. He then says oh well it’s still 350 cash. A bunch of money greedy scammers. I’ve already filed a complaint with the attorney general and I will also be contacting my lawyer and taking this as far as I need to.
This place is highway robbery, they charge $300 when your car is towed and you have to wait until 9am to retrieve your vehicle. Also they do not have the correct address to find your car. 4151 corbin Rd, Greensboro,NC is the correct address if your looking for your car!
This is one of the worst towing companies in Greensboro. They put my daughters life in jeopardy towing a vehicle with a child inside because it was parked on the grass for a couple minutes no warning just hitched my vehicle up with my minor child inside and towed and then absolutely refused to release my truck without me paying refused to give me any information or details about the company so that I can file a formal complaint with the BBB Every time I call to get in contact with supervisor manager owner, the young gentleman that answers the phone tells me that none of those people are available. He passed my complaint up to upper management and no one has gotten in contact with him or myself. This happened in the middle of a storm in Greensboro, North Carolina, this company informed me that they were instructed by my leasing agent to come and tow my vehicle. We had to end up calling the cops to get any contact information for this company who decided to remove the name of the side of the vehicle so they can come and snatch cars in the middle of the night. I do not recommend this company to anyone ever I also have Proof and witnesses my vehicle is equipped with rear and front camera and it captured the whole incident. If I could give a -10, I would and times that by 100
Best Tow driver ever!!!Locked my keys in the car at Sheetz on 29. He happened to drive up after I had been there for an hour and a half. Unlocked my car for FREE!!! Need a great driver this is who you call
If I could leave a negative star review I would. Very unprofessional and ignorant. Illegally towing cars and admitted on recording to charging whatever I want. After telling him the prices does not add up and let him know he is illegally charging people and he clearly can not do math he stated” you better be quiet or ima add some more on there watch me do it.thank God for recordings my lawyer will love to hear this.
The Most Unprofessional Unpleasant Unqualified biz ever! These guys are arrogant and have Absolutely No Business Model. Make it up as tbey go. Charge Ridiculous prices however they feel at the moment. My fee changed 3 times in one conversation but I was wrong when I questioned so they then came up with another charge.
I highly recommend New Era towing. They were reasonably priced(after calling around, they had the best pricing) quick response time to pick up my vehicle and the driver was super nice and professional. Thank you so much for your amazing 5 star service .
The owner of this place is a jerk!! I was charged $500 just for a simple front in tow for just 2 hrs. The man must be hurting for money. He overcharges every customer. I do not recommend this tow service. There’s better services than this place. Dam shame I can’t even get a receipt for the $500 tow they done to my car. Not even answering the phone for my call. Not a good place of business. The owner doesn’t do right by the customers. Such a terrible place from business. I don’t know any place that doesn’t give a receipt after money was taken!!!!!!!!
Marquis was great. I had a flat on 29 south. He changed it at an affordable price. Then my battery died, he turned around and gave me a jump. Will definitely use him again if needed.

Absolutely exceptional customer service. Got here quick in the heavy rain. Jaywas super nice and they charged dang near nothing while other towing companies was charging 250. These guys were way below that, fast and better. If I ever break down in this area again I will call them immediately. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Jay worked fas, efficient, and a very personable man. Great exp, you can't go wrong if you go with them.

Got a tow in Greensboro recently from them and Markeese was fantastic. We called him for a quote to weigh options while we were waiting to here back from triple A. After waiting 2 hours for triple A to quote us a 5 hour wait time, we called Markeese back and he was there in 20 minutes. He even followed up with us between our first and second call to check if we still needed service. Once he got there he was fast, professional, and very helpful. He sent pictures to confirm my car was towed to the right place and gave me a detailed receipt. If you need a tow in the area, go to him!
I broke down while traveling from NC to VA. I was on the side of the highway with my 3 young children and called them to get a quote. They were the best priced, got to me quickly, and communicated very well. They assisted me with my car seats and drove us 1.5 hours home! I'm very thankful for their help.
I have never dealt with a company with such poor customer service. They answer the phone to get your business, and once they have it, they only want to communicate via text.
I was charged fees for services not performed. My storage price changed at the time of pick up. The bill for storing my vehicle there for a week was $1800. Imagine that? For a sedan!

Markeese Sims is Awesome!! When my daughter and I needed a tow, he was extremely timely and friendly. He knew exactly what needed to done and immediately went to work. Had us dropped off at the dealer in no time and even parked it in the lines evenly from tow drop … Very Impressive!! I highly recommend him and his service offerings to anyone!! A step above the rest!!!
This guy’s the best! We were stuck in the bitter cold and he was able to pick up all four of us right away and for the best price in town! He was super nice and helpful and his awesome truck took under a minute to hook up our car and get us on our way. Will definitely be calling this guy if I’m ever stranded in Greensboro again.
I cannot speak highly enough of Markeese and New Era Towing. I needed someone to pull my tiny house out of a tricky spot where I had built it in my parents' back yard. Markeese handled it carefully and with incredible skill and patience, working it through a series of extremely tight points between trees, bushes, the house, and the neighbor's mailbox. He understood when I said I wanted to cut down as few small trees as possible, and went through incredible effort to work the house out around them. If I ever need something large or tricky towed again, he'll be the first person I call.
