I don't recommend this place. They quoted one price over the phone, but on the spot they gave us a very low price!
We have a special scale to weigh our recycled goods (copper/aluminum), and they gave us a lower weight. This isn't the first time we've done this type of work elsewhere, and the total weight has been the same.
In my experience, we lost by going to this establishment.
So rude and clearly charged me for steal instead of copper been doing this a long time I should have walked out with over 100 easily I left with 23 dollars they are a scam and get over on people to pocket it themselves were not helpful at all and well all around most horrible le service I've ever had at a place like this would have went with a 0 star but it's not an offer
I just wanted to thank you for promptly responding to my review. That speaks volumes. Although, I do not have a ticket number, because they refused me service. This was at 4:42pm, and as a result, I had to drive all the way back home with that weight my trailer. Of course, that cannot be undone, but I will attempt to once again bring a load there today and see how things go. Thanks again for your attention to this matter...

I have used the services of this recycling center a few times and each visit I had, I was generally satisfied with the transaction. One great thing about this particular recycling center is that they do pay in cash.
One downside of this center, however, is the fact that the parking lot is very small and sometimes crowded. There is a side road next to the main parking lot and this side road can be used to park until you’re ready to pull into the main parking lot and unload your items.
Because of the size of the lot, this facility is unable to accept scrap vehicles. This facility does accept copper, aluminum (including aluminum cans), and batteries.
Cash payout is of course dependent on the weight of your items.
I will use this recycling center in the future as needed.
I wouldn't give a quarter of a star if I could! WHAT A JOKE! I certainly do not need the money, but I certainly did not wish to ride around with this load of crap in my trailer pulling on my vehicle. The employee that was on the forklift in the blue shirt was so facetious, rude, an arrogant. For that reason, I will never go to that scrap yard again. I suggest you stick with Loggins, the one on Ward and Green in High Point, North Carolina Jeff Scott and all of them are always friendly, they always have time for their customers, and they never laugh at you, or turn you away just because they're too lazy to do their job and want to close EARLY! I'm uncertain how others do it, but I've always went the extra mile for my customers when working with the public. And I assure you here that does not happen. Which is why once again I reiterate I will not go back here and I advise you not to either. The old saying goes, "word of mouth goes a long way," let's show them exactly what this means. Thank you! You take cans to this place they don't give you all the money that is supposed to give to you. If you own the place it is your responsibility to get reid of the plastic bag we should not be charged 45 cents for you to do it. Especially when you charge $1pd to sell them. You charge me a pound for 2 plastic bags what a rip off. So you got 29 cans for free.
Great service ! It was super easy to get money for your cans. They unloaded the truck for me and then just weighted and gave me a ticket. Took less than 10mins!
Good place to take your recyclables for cash. It's kind of intimidating the first time you go, especially if there's a lot of other customers. The parking lot is very small and that's where you exchange materials.The workers will direct traffic and they will approach you to begin collecting your materials. The workers are friendly and helpful even though some language barriers exist -- they know what they're doing and they'll get you out of there in as little time as possible.
Love this place , the crew is very helpful, fast and courteous. Never had to wait for very long. They will help you get the scrap from your vehicle. Cash for anything under 200$. Check for over. Small parking lot but usually not to busy to have to wait in the street. They pay very competitive prices. I only go here to scrap.
We love going to them all the guys up there are awesome we go there on regular and wouldn't go any where else they are straight up and when you start going there and they start knowing you they will cut you some breaks and help you out look out for you. They always take care of me and my girl(Sonja).so even to the females you can go there and not worry about them trying to get over on you like some places try to take advantage of you may not knowing everything. But top of our list is these guys. So don't be crazy and go anywhere else. Make money have fun catch a laugh and enjoy these guys cause they are the best. RiChie and Sonja will always choose these guys
Great place! The main employees that run the place are very helpful. The get you in and out quickly, pay a little better than most, and actively helpful when you arrive. I 100% recommend giving them a try.
This place is amazing. The guys working here are very quick and nice. The prices are the best I've found and they did extra to give me extra. I've came 3x with my wife and they've remembered me and been great. Top notch honesty.
This place has excellent customer service and is always helpful to make sure yiu get the best price. They are far easier to deal with than other local scrapyards!! I highly recommend you give them a try!
Don't even waste your time with this place. They literally give the lowest price around. Not worth the drive, even if you live nextdoor. I would love to hear the owners explanation as to why I got a $1.00 for a hot water heater. When a week prior went to Dh Griffin with a similar heater same weight and received $14.... plenty of other scrap yards in Greensboro. Dont use this one.
Their prices are making low to me am not accept, because I am not happy with their acknowledged choice of different metal. America Salvage is best prices on different kinds of scrap metal and honestly weight including with list prices. They are nice to me but their prices are not accept.
I Wouldn't go back their for ANYTHING in the world, Thes Mexican guys who own the place are big time racist and rude PEOPLE.,,and pick prices to pay,Apon the persons looks,,,I know some Spanish,and I went with a friend who also knows Spanish,,and to hear what they was saying as we walked up was shockingly,sick ,I WILL NEVER GO BACK,and hope and pray they get cought doing their dirt,..
