I needed to change my oil URGENTLY and the mechanic shop next door was full. The people working at this shop were exceedingly helpful. They absolutely went above and beyond helping my fiance and I find the tools and parts we needed to change my oil in their parking lot, they let us come in and wash up when we were done and even gave us ice cold water bottles to help us combat the heat. I don't know when I may pass back through this town but I will forever be grateful to these employees, they all deserve a raise+
They didn't have what I needed but"could get it the next day" (so can I, and did) the other thing is, they close too early. Everything in this town does, which under normal circumstances, I guess makes sense. But when you have an automotive event in town bringing in 1000-1700 cars all of the same kind ( Miatas) because of an attraction IN your town (Tail of the dragon)that's happened the last 27 years on the same first weekend in August, that's all opportunity to maybe stay open a little longer and run a special or two. Just my $.02¢ Other than that, it's your standard Carquest. I had better luck at the home grown Ford Auto parts down the street
While out riding my motorcycle all afternoon, I lost the rear brakes on my Harley due to a fluid issue. I had brake fluid but one of the screws on the master cylinder lid stripped. We rode to Robbinsville hoping to find a parts store that was still open. We pulled in toy Carquest right as they were walking out. One of the employees asked what we needed and I told him we needed an easy out. He graciously let us back inside.
He quickly found what we needed. We felt bad because while we were in the store getting the necessary tools, two more people came in to purchase items. He even had to get the cash drawer back out so that we could pay for our items.
Just like other stores in this area, the level of hospitality and willingness to help others is unmatched in larger towns.

The best auto parts store in WNC. The guys and gals are very knowledgeable and have helped me on several occasions. It's the only place that I would even consider buying parts.
Stopped here while I was out of town attending a wedding. There was no other parts stores for atleast an hour any direction that I could tell. When I arrived the people running the store was locking up and heading to there trucks. I asked them where I could get some refrigerant for my a/c and they both scratched there heads and said nowhere round here. They both unlocked the store without me asking and went back in and let me buy some refrigerant. What they didn't know was I had my 91 yr old grandmaw in the back of the truck who didn't need to be in the heat without A/C. So with all that said to all three of the individuals that helped me out today at carquest thank y'all. You helped a good ol country boy when he needed it. I hope I get the chance to do the same for one of y'all one day. God bless
Very helpful and knowledgeable group. I went in to purchase some freon for my AC. Talked to the folks inside about my issues. One employee volunteered to check the system. He brought his gauge out and we checked it. He immediately new i did not need freon. We checked fuses and relays etc…. I really appreciated the help. But did not purchase anything.
