Hit a giant piece of asphalt laying in the middle of our awesome GASTONIA roads today and blew out a tire. Horne's Towing got me hooked up and over to to the tire shop with no problem. Didn't catch the fellas name or the guy he was training, but they did a fantastic job. Appreciate ya'll, will use again if needed.
Use this tow company at your own risk! Owner/manager will not take responsibility for any damage that results from his or his employee’s incompetency. As if this wasn’t enough reason not to ever use this company, then wait until Mr. Bobby adds insult to injury by telling you that your car is worth nothing therefore the best he can do is give you $500 for the damage his employee caused and “take it to the scrap yard for you”. Here is the best part of the whole story, my car was parked in a parking space in a local dealership parking lot waiting to be serviced when the driver of a tow truck for Horne’s Towing pulled into the parking lot to drop off a completely different car, and apparently could not judge how close he was to the bumper of my car, opened his door slicing completely through my bumper. This was not a simple ding or small hole which it previously had and was being repaired, it is now cut completely through the bumper and needs to be replaced. You can’t just “fix it”, it has to be replaced not to mention it is right on a sensor in the bumper. I am at a loss as to how someone can do damage to someone’s else’s property and feel that just because it had imperfections in it before they should not be held accountable for the damage they have now caused. Yes, it had imperfections, but it wasn’t cut completely through the entire bumper. I am curious as to what gives you the right to think that you should not have to fix what you damaged regardless of what else is wrong with it? It’s not your property, and your truck should have never even been near my car. I bet if the tables were turned you would be singing a much different tune. Well, I don’t believe in damaging the property of others, and if the mistake is made then I believe in making it right. However, your banter about doing me a favor and taking it to the “scrap yard” for me leaves me no choice but to make sure that everyone knows what a shady sketch business you are running. I do believe in karma, so good luck with that Mr. Bobby!

Unfortunately locked my keys in the car and after multiple attempts of trying to get it out myself. I decided to call someone, little did I know there are so many unprofessional companies out there. I finally came across Horne’s, and wish I would have called them sooner!!!! They were so professional and they gave me an estimated time and came sooner than the eta. Ronnie showed up, and was super friendly!!! He observed the situation and got my car unlocked within less than 10 mins!!! Hopefully I don’t have to run into this problem again in the future, but if I do I definitely know who to call now!!!!
WORST tow company in town.!!! Ronnie needs to be fired, he's VERY rude, an out right nasty person.!!!! Donnie on the other hand deserves 5 Stars, a perfect gentleman
I've had to use Horne's twice now. Both times they were on time and professional. Very reasonable rates compared to some and quick at what they do. Definitely would recommend if you need a tow.
Horne's towed a car from a fatal accident that impacted my family. When I went to get the car and its contents from them, they were incredibly kind and delicate. Jason in particular was very kind to me.

My car broke down at work in Bessemer City. We called and spoke with Ronnie, he scheduled a driver to be at my work at 5:00 p.m., when I clock out, so Jason could also give me a ride home. Jason was super sweet and friendly, educated me on the process and made sure I got in the house before he left. If you need a tow call Horne's Towing and ask for Jason to be your driver! I felt really comfortable and SAFE with Jason! YOU'LL BE HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE!!!!!

After an accident I told the driver to take it to the specific collision center.
The next day I called the collision center and they did not have my car.
I called the tow truck driver and he said non-chalantly - that yeah he took my car to his tow lot… AND NEVER THOUGHT TO INFORMED ME??? When I asked him to take it to the correct location he told me there would be storage fees and additional towing feees. (Of Course)
When I spoke to my collision center and told them the tow company didn’t deliver my car and could the collision center help- the lady on the phone said - “Let me guess - you used Hornes Towing? They do that to everyone so they can get the storage fees”
It’s pretty bad when you have made a name for yourself in the industry as someone who can’t do what they are hired to do.
225 dollars to tow my Tahoe. Had to pay because my meds were in it and they wouldn't let me have them. The Tahoe was only in their possession for around 5 hours. That's a rip off if ever there was one. I'll never recommend them to anyone. Ever.
Waited on AAA for hours and hours and they kept putting us off and giving us different answers. I called Horne's and they picked my car up within 35 minutes. Very reasonable pricing and Michael was amazing!!!

Horne's towing arrived on time, handled my car with care, and made the whole experience painless. Aaron was excellent at his job. He made sure to do everything to prevent further damage to my car. I didn't think my tire was going to make it, but Aaron managed to get it up there without destroying my tire. I would definitely use them again, and I recommend them to anyone needing towing services.
Donnie just left my home towing my son's car. Not only am I impressed with his professionalism, but he and I had conversation regarding children. Donnie impressed me so deeply, I got emotional, went back into the house, hugged my 19-year old son I am still impressed with Donnie! Quick service at a super reasonable price. Driver was very cautious and deliberate about how he handled my ancient old girl. What more can you ask for? Will absolutely be using them for all my towing needs in the future!
Michael was punctual and very nice! When the first option didn’t work out, he was open to try something else to get my car back up and running. He also gave me a little insight about a noise that I didn’t realize coming from my car. I would totally use this company again and I definitely recommend them! Great job Michael! This company was great! My husband's car broke down, while it was raining of course. I have AAA and it was going to be hours before they could get there...and we were required to wait with the car. I called Horne's to see what they could do. The guy on the phone was professional and efficient. They let me leave the car where it was and take our family on home. Michael showed up at our door within an hour and had the car dropped off no problem (in a very tight parking area no less). He was polite and professional through the entire process. Even though he didn't have to, he took the time to check the battery and eventually got the car jump started. Worth every bit of the cost, which was very reasonable. Thanks!

I could not be more impressed with these gentlemen. Top to bottom: a top notch business. I have never had better customer service from a business. I dealt with these guys for over a month because of a hit and run accident. They were very professional, friendly and compassionate. Kudos to them. This is the way a business SHOULD be ran.
Great Experience. I was stuck on side of freeway, it was getting dark and called Horne to tow my car. They handled my lack of knowing exactly where I was very well and a driver came out very timely. He was very quick to get my car on the bed and headed back to their business/ service area where I needed to leave my car overnight. The driver was very kind and supportive. I would definitely call Horne First if I needed services again! Class operation from calling in, to pick up, and making sure I was ok to get home that night!
They helped me and my uncle tow a car, at a pretty far distance and the price was great. Friendly staff very helpful and explained things in a detailed manner and made my day easier. I don't normally review businesses, but felt I needed to as the 1-star review made me nervous to call Horne's. I had an excellent experience with them. They were fast, efficient, and reasonably priced $68 (about 10 miles). Great service. Thank you, Horne's!
