I purchased an old 1940's farm tractor 60 miles away in South Carolina and needed to transport it back to Gastonia. Smokey's Towing had good reviews and I called. Got a good price on getting the tractor and delivering it to my house. Made arrangements to meet me at the seller's house and Smokey's was prompt and right on time. Fast professional loading and then delivered right to my house. The job was done professionally and without issue. Would use them again to haul a car or other "toys" I need transported.
I had called a few other wrecker towing places before talking to Smokey's!! Gave him the address to ow from and to. It was a 20 mile tow. 85 cash and 90 if credit card. All other places wanted 150 to 160! Needless to say I went with Smokey's! The gentleman I spoke with, owner, was very nice. And all I had to do was send him a text when ready to meet him at my car. He was there before my daughter was! He even offered to look at my car for free! My car was delivered moments later. My daughter even came in talking about how nice was. If ever I am in need again, I already have his number programmed in my phone! I highly recommend Smokey's! Thanks!
Smokey just swooped in to save the day! If not for him, I would’ve been stranded in Gabe’s parking lot with no help since I locked my keys in my car! All other places quoted me 120 and 75 dollars when I only had 40 dollars to my name. Once he got here, he got it unlocked so quickly, and only charged me 20$ to do so!! Not even the Police Department would help me, but HE DID! We need more people like Smokey! People who will help out those in the community and not drain all of the money from your pocket! Great service and great effort on coming out to pick my fiancé’s car up on the side of the highway. Call this company and they will help you out! I called numerous of other towing companies getting no answer, or ignoring my calls. I even had one towing company telling me they would call back which they never did. Best towing in Gastonia!
I highly recommend he towed my car with no problem & did it quick ,other tow people usually have trouble getting my car up on the ramp because how low it is in the front but this guy did it with no problem so if you looking for towing here’s the place !

They sat on I-85 for an hour while my mom's AARP service tied to 'find a provider'. I found Smokey from his Google reviews and tried my luck. I hit the Jackpot. He was kind, empathetic, honest and he helped find a place for mom to drop her car. He made sure they were situated before leaving them and was nothing but professional. Best price I was able to find to get my car towed, very punctual I had to meet him at the location and when I arrived he was there already waiting. He was very fast amd helped me greatly. He was also very friendly and even gave me some advice on what a few things that could be the problem with my car. He also called to check in and make sure everything was correct. I will definitely recommend anyone who wants fast, and cheap sercice to him and i certainly will use again!
Danny is an awesome guy to work with! I was referred to him by my mechanic since they also utilize his service. I had Mr. Danny come yesterday (9/21/2020) on short notice to have my brothers Mini Cooper towed. He was very quick, efficient and friendly. I had thought that having the Mini towed was going to be a difficult task, consuming hours of my day but Smokey's towing had me done and back home within an hour. The price was perfect (though he is very willing to work with you) and he was friendly, professional and knew exactly what he was doing. I will always use his towing services, every time. 10/10 would recommend.
I called to be towed and got towed but when I ask for a receipt for insurance I was immediately cut off saying we don’t take insurance. First of all I asked for a receipt to turn into my insurance not if you take insurance! Then he left with no receipt soon as he got out the truck! Customer service skills and professionalism definitely not a plus for this company! And thanks for the receipt whoever answered the phone when I called, still haven’t received it, good thing I wasn’t counting on it
Before he towed my car, Smokey went ahead and took one quick look at my battery (the reason I couldn’t get my car to start). He fixed it in two seconds flat and only charged me 25 bucks. Super cool guy, very down to earth and honest! Give this man a fist bump if he swings around wherever you need help.

This towing service is AMAZING!! We had our Nissan Maxima in quite a pickle but Mr. Smokey showed up and had us yo and on the way to a repair shop in a jiffy! Very kind man with a great professional manner. 10/10 would recommend and will every time someone needs a tow.
We had a unique towing situation that required several different parties, Smoke’s Towing kept in touch with everyone involved, made phone calls to insure all parties were updated, they arrived earlier then expected which was a major plus and made the pick up and delivery without incident.
