Got cussed out by the owner asking if a table was for sale. I was asking, thought it was a business of buying and selling. I’ve been there several times selling scrap metal, his staff has always been great but if he comes out I just leave. There is always something wrong with whatever you may bring. Very unprofessional owner !!
Unprofessional staff! They talked down to me about having "trash" in my collection of cans just because I'm black. I don't appreciate them treating me like that because I'm 50 years old, not a child! Also, they need to be more sensitive to people with autism like myself! Matter of fact, you guys lost a loyal patron because I ain't coming back to your business anymore! Take that and shove it where the sun doesn't shine!
They used to be mostly kind but I took a load of scrap metal to their business for the first time this year and one guy said that I cussed him out and flipped him off on two separate occasions. I have never done this to anyone in my life and I asked them to show me any video or proof they had of the incident and they couldn’t produce anything. When I asked them about the details of it, they couldn’t even tell me what year it happened, what vehicle I was driving, what I looked l like or any other details that could identify me. All they could say is that they knew it was me. I do not appreciate being falsely accused.
I was like 10 min ago with my friend Brian, looking for a air tank,we park our car, and walk like 30 feet inside to see if you have some to buy and two guy came and yelling at us to drive up not park and come with them. They screamed again just drive. We got in the car to turn and leave. They started closing the gate on us but we got through before the gate closed. The one guy that was screaming was a guy with a hat and beard. The other one was a Latin guy who said nothing.
I was putting the scrap metal on the wrong container when we saw somebody coming on the forklift driving fast with attitude I swear to God I never come back to this place they treat me like a dog and don't pay any good I'm wasting my time and saving scrap metal foTRC
I've been doing business there for awhile now and went there today even called to let them know I was almost there and it was before 430. Got there right before 430 and the gate was already closed. Heck I'm ready to get out of work everyday as well, but I don't leave until it's time to and I'd never turn away business this day and time. SHAME on y'all!! Only giving 1 star just to leave my review, but really y'all deserve zero stars. Thanks for nothing!!!!
Since moving to Thomasville I've experienced so many city workers that doesn't want to work recycling men are the worst they will ride right by my house if it's the only stop they have on my street my bonus babies all love to recycle so this is a big disappointment to them when the drive right pass
ITS FOR MAKING MONEY OFF OF YOUR SCRAPE METALS YOU HAVE TO LET GO OF JUST TO MAKE A FEW EXTRA BUCKS TO GET BILLS N SUCH . METAL ONLY ALL SORTS OF METAL. COPPER BRASS IRON STEEL N CANS
My recycle person is so darn lazy somethings doesn't make sense if you drop something out of the bin PICK IT UP no matter what he always leave something on the ground and the bin isnt even full
Very friendly staff and fair prices. I'm convinced that their scales are calibrated for accuracy, unlike SEVERAL other scrap metal places around. When I go to Thomasville Recycling, I'm in and out within 15 minutes and I get paid in cash. Win Win!!!
