Called my insurance to get a tow and they said $220. Called Garretts and they wanted half of that price. They were quick and friendly. I will definitely use them again when I need a tow!
Got my car stuck in some mud in my yard. Probably 100 feet from the road. The guys showed up got straight to work and had me out and ready to go in under 10 minutes.
Excellent customer service. I got stuck on a move and they helped me out greatly when I was in a tough spot. The drivers were professional and courteous, and the customer service was top notch. Very impressed.
I was having trouble loosening my tire nuts on my car and was stranded in Thomasville trying to get to Charlotte. Their employee showed up and just loosen my tire nuts, and I told him that I will change tire and put the spare on myself. I was still charged! It took me longer to complete the transaction than it did for them to loosen the tire lug nuts. Hope the $60 bucks brings you great fortune
Mike was super friendly and explained a few things to me that I wasn’t aware of, about towing a vehicle. This was a long distance tow, & will certainly use this company again in the future.
We reached out to this company and they did not respond. Had there been an option for a ZERO star I would click it. "James" was sent to haul or 53 foot trailer from our old house to our new house. This trailer has our belongings in it, packed carefully. "James" was met by our friend who called and told us he whined and complained as soon as he got out of his truck. Questioning how the 53 ft trailer got to where he had to bring it out - by a professional truck driver we told him. From old house to new house is 33 miles. "James" left old house at 4:00pm - arrived at new house around 5:15pm. (They charged us by the hour). I met him at our new house. He stopped traffic on Liberty Rd (twice) by backing down our street the first time, before he even came to see where the trailer was to be delivered; again to come down facing our road after he failed at parking the trailer. "James" jerked his tractor, slamming on brakes several times so hard I could hear my belongings falling inside the 53 ft trailer. I attempted to direct him in his backing however, he would not listen. Long and short - he charged me $585.00 to leave my 53 foot trailer in the road. I asked for someone to call me and he said no one was in the office. I asked for someone to call first thing in the morning - he said I can't leave the trailer unless you pay me. I paid him and my husband (a professional truck driver, who spoke with him on the phone several times while "James" attempted to back the trailer in its proper place), had to call someone else to get the 53 ft trailer off the road and into our yard - which by the way was done on this drivers first try. I feel totally robbed by Garrett Towing. First, a driver with zero back up experience should NOT have been sent on this job; Secondly, I feel they took advantage of us charging by the hour to take an hour and fifteen minutes to drive 33 miles usually taking 37 minutes. We basically paid for the driver to TRY and do his job for several hours. Thirdly, that this driver was very content to leave our trailer of belongings in the road at our new house after slamming on brakes, jerking the truck several times and with the sound of our contents in the trailer crashing - for which they charged us $585.00! Perhaps they are good for driving in a straight line - Do not ask them to haul a 53 foot trailer - they should have told us no - they do not have a driver capable of pick up and delivery of a 53 ft trailer. There was much conversation between me and my husband (on the phone because he was driving cross country) and this driver - he complained, whined and from my observations of his attempts had no confidence in backing and doing this job. I hope the owners of this company will match drivers and jobs better than they did for us.

My car broke down on business 85 late one evening and I called around trying to find help to get my car off of the side of the road, but with it being so late it was hard to find anyone available to tow me until the next day. When I returned the next day to have my car towed back to my home town the highway patrol had already contacted Garrett’s towing to remove my vehicle from the road and they had my car at their lot. I was frustrated and a bit discouraged I was going to have to pay a rather expensive recovery fee as I had done everything in my power to prevent this from occurring and once I arrived to their establishment, not only did they greet me with a welcoming and helpful attitude they waved over half of the fee due to the circumstances. They went out of their way to make a difficult situation more manageable and offered exceptional customer service. That kind of kindness and service is far and few between these days and I would highly recommend this company to anyone in the area that finds them selves in need of towing or recovery services!
I will never use this tow company again! My son was in a terrible accident and the state trooper called for a rollback because the truck was bad. Well guess what. A regular tow truck driven by "Kevin" shows up! The state trooper tells him he called for a rollback! Well "Kevin" says he can pull the truck out while we wait on the rollback. Long story short I feel this was ALL a BIG SCAM! "Kevin" did all this knowing he was going to charge me what he did. I had to pay $1,166 IN CASH to tow the truck approximately 5 miles!!! I couldn't give him a check or card it had to be CASH! And not until I demanded a written receipt I was told he had no way of writing up a receipt. Funny thing is...I got a written receipt that includes the company name and information. So he had this all along. He chose to lie to me instead! Beware of them taking advantage of you!
Each time we have had to use Garrett’s towing they have been super friendly and helpful with their assistance. Yesterday, my husband and I had to have our truck towed home because of a flat tire, they informed us that they were busy but would get to us as quickly as possible. They did an outstanding job of getting to us. We appreciate y’all and will continue to use y’all for all of our needs in the future.
I have known the owners of this company for years. Not only are they very knowledgeable and professional, they are also some of the finest people you will ever meet. If you ever have a need for towing, do yourself a favor and call Garretts. I would rate them more stars if I could.

Definitely felt uncomfortable doing business with this company. I gotten into an accident & this towing company came to pick up my car . I wasn’t sure how much it would be so I asked the woman in the front & she was so rude . So my uncle wanted to talk to her about the pricing & she gave my phone back so rude . I would never do any business with this company again !!
Garrett’s Towing will be the only wrecker service we will be using from now on. They worked in a timely manner and the price was fair. From the time I called they picked our vehicle up and delivered it in 2 hours. With arrival and delivery text as I waited. When the driver Nat arrived he was very professional and quick. Thank you Nat for making an unpleasant situation a little more pleasant.
They're always awesome nice on time I love the text thing they've got now that tells you where they are and what's going on. So you don't have to call and ask where they are or what's up with your situation. Always a good price I've never felt like I'm getting ripped off. Keep up the good work Garrett's towing and recovery
Pretty incredible experience altogether. Very frustrating experience with my truck and the uncertainty around mechanical failure. But when a towing company offers to give you the same service on Sunday that they would on Monday, for the same price, just to be courteous, then that wrecker company deserves an A+ for exemplary service. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure that if they had been covered up they couldn't have done it. But they had the time and went the extra mile to make a customer happy! Kevin is top-notch! So is Garrett Towing!
Ive used Garrett's exclusively for 30 plus years. They are professional and honest. They took extreme precautions loading and delivering my very rare Harley Davidson. Ive only needed their services a half dozen times but they are always quick to respond. I wwnt fo school with both brothers Mark and Terry the owners. Hard working honest and dependable.
It was a great experience. Very timely and affordable for the time and location. They were caring to my situation and comforting. They also made the transaction painless. The Floyd's were wonderful thru this whole process helped calm my nerves
We ran over a road hazard and blew a tire on I-85 at a very busy place. Garrett's came out quickly, the driver had us out of there in less than 10 minutes, and he took us to a good tire shop that helped us get back on the road quickly. Great job!
I was involved in a single vehicle accident near Thomasville. I did a quick search for towing services and called Garrett's because of their ratings. They were quick to respond and very courteous. They even recommended a local body shop and forwarded the towing charges there so I paid just one bill. Very convenient!
