I am aware that it is a competitive business environment, but when companies attempt to take advantage of customers, it is unacceptable. I contacted Buck's Wrecker Services to inquire about their roadside assistance service and whether they could repair my truck's air line on-site, as I did not want to risk driving to a shop. After discussing the issue with the lady over the phone and asking if the repair could be done on-site, she assured me that it was possible. I then requested that the service truck be sent. She explained the rates, and I asked again if the repair could be done on my property, to which she replied affirmatively. Shortly thereafter, I received a call from a driver in my area. While I was walking towards him, he was discussing with his supervisor whether he felt comfortable performing the job on-site, and ultimately decided that it would have to be towed to their shop in Thomasville. I explained the situation to the lady over the phone, and at that point, she should have informed me that the repair required the truck to be taken to the shop, giving me the option to decide. After the driver spoke with Brandon, he stated that the truck would have to be towed. I inquired about the towing cost, and he quoted $580, plus a service fee and the cost of repairing the issue. I found this excessive and refused to have the truck towed, as the total cost would have exceeded $1,000, leaving me in the same situation. I began to question whether they would even be able to fix the issue if I had it towed to their shop. Ultimately, they charged me $420 for a service that was not provided. I consider this predatory business practice, and I want to caution others against using companies that do not honor their commitments. My concern is not with the price itself, but rather with the fact that they told me the repair could be done on-site and then upsold me without giving me a choice.
After calling several non reliable towing companies, Bucks Towing made it happen immediately after we called. Our RV sat on the aide of the exit ramp for 5 days. No one wanted to tow a diesel pusher. Then they repaired it. Why exactly the 5 star rating? Communication was perfect

Unprofessional driver in pickup work truck. Went the wrong way on 66 to get on 74 in Kernersville. Almost caused an accident since then were parked in the middle of the road waiting to turn left, which is the wrong way!
Then on 74 they started driving erratically to get by other vehicles.
Next time pay attention to the road signs and have some courtesy. Your business is player all over your truck!

Don’t use these people 925.00 agreed upon he used winch to pull me back because I was in front of a curb extra 300.00 dollars upon drop off at dealership that should have been notified before tow not a surprise when I get to dealership that’s not how business goes you give me a chance yes or no or call another towing company rip off bucks towing you need to do better business my friend
I called to talk with the receptionist on the phone about a trailer and she was very unprofessional and rude. She was very short and didn't seem interested in answering my questions.
We had a great experience with Bucks today, Monday March 10th. David picked up our truck to take to the repair shop. He was on time and so polite and courteous. He was very respectful of the property. We highly recommend this business.

We were on our way to Cheraw this morning to finish up a job and move to the next location . On the way down to Cheraw the van belt pulling broke and put us behind over 4 hours. I called around 25 to 30 different service center no one could get us in found BUCK’S towing and Service center . I called and they sent someone out within 30 minutes tow us to the shop and started fixing it soon as he got it unloaded. They were very quick and stayed on it until it was done . I highly recommend BUCK’S for towing and Service . They were very professional. I want to say Thank you for everything you and your team did for us .

I had a load that shifted on me while heading to Harris Teeter DC in Greensboro and the load was refused @ 0145hrs.
My company located Bucks Wrecker service and a time was confirmed for 0900hrs. Once I arrived there was no wait, I was directed to the staging area and we all went right to work, started at 0900 and was done and on my way by 10-1020 I asked for a T-Shirt and was given one!!!

However, during my latest interaction, I was surprised to be charged $175 upon service completion, a significant increase with no prior notification provided.
The staff member I spoke with at night appeared to be somewhat disengaged, which perhaps contributed to the communication challenges experienced during our interaction. She indicated that she had confirmed the price adjustment with the owner after a very brief hold, leaving me uncertain about the accuracy of this information.
It’s important to note that my previous experiences during daytime operations have been positive, characterized by professional conduct and reasonable pricing. This stark contrast in service quality between day and night prompts me to seek further clarity from associated recommenders such as Kings Automotive and Flint Hill Fixers.

I cannot say enough good things about Buck’s towing service. I suddenly had a flat tire while driving my 94 year old mother back home to NC from Georgia. I called Buck’s and was immediately comforted and calmed by the wonderful customer service person. She promptly sent a tow truck to fix my flat tire. David, who changed the tire, was very kind and sympathetic about my problem and quickly and competently changed the tire and I was back on my way home within an hour. Thank you for caring and taking care of my flat tire in a kind and competent way. I really appreciate their great service!
Called around 11 Pm for a tow on private property. The lady on the receiving end was incredibly rude and was annoyed by the call. Before we could explain that it wasn’t off the highway she said we needed to file an accident report with highway patrol because they don’t do anything without one. After saying it was in fact on private property she said it would be $350 just to come out. We ended up going with Arski Towing, paid $100 and was a pleasurable experience from start to finish. Would highly recommend them instead!
I had used buck's For a road service recently. They did such a good job. When it was time for some shop work. They were the first people I went to. I had a wheel seal on my tractor starting to leak, Is called an advance to let them know that I was coming. Once I arrived, they pulled me straight into the shop. Did the wheel seal and I was in out within the hour. Service like this is hard to find these days. Family owned family operated, and friendly pricing.
After calling AAA multiple times and waiting over three hours with no results... I called Buck's Wrecker Service at 10 30 pm. Within 15 minutes I received a call and within another 15 minutes my Toyota 4 Runner was on the way to the dealership.. no sweat, no worries and no hassles. If you need a tow, there's only one place to go for great service at a fair price. I will never call AAA again..... JDR

Bucks is very professionale and on time. They stand by there word and go above and beyond. They took care of me while stranded on the side of the highway fully loaded. Cameron definitely knows his stuff he had me hooked up and we was rolling in no time. Highly recommend them. Definitely will use them for all my towing needs. Also mechanic needs as well they fixed my truck and had me back on the road all in the same day those guys rock. Again thanks for great quality service.
Terrible!!!! I had them tow my lexis LS460 only bc my coolant line had cracked.! The next day coolant line was fixed but not only that my Control arm was now disconnected!!! I had just paid for the car!! And wasn’t anything like that broke or any signs of it…the OWNER PUT UP A FIGHT SWEARING IT WASNT THEM!!! But ain’t no other way it could’ve happen!!!! Think twice b4 calling them..
