New Year 's day the Driver of this company just tried to run me off the left side of the road into the median in a black tow truck labeled "Lexington Towing".
He tells you that you can pull the parts off yourself but he tells his family to follow you around the yard so you don’t steal nothing. If you don’t want us to take it off ourselves don’t tell people they can no one wants to get followed why they work. Poor service.
They told me they had my part on Thursday and that I could pick it up Monday. I called on Monday and they'd forgot all about it and didn't have the part. Set me back a week.
They make me pull my own parts, if I know that thing I’d go to pull-a-part. Say closed when I came on regular hours, nobody helped me when taking the parts off from the donor car, I didn’t expect to expend many hours here.
A guy gave me some tools to take the parts off.
Was told 3 times that they had 2 of the part that I needed in 2 different colors. Drove over an hour, only to get there and be told they didn't have either one and apologized for not removing it from their system when it sold. Then said that someone may be stealing parts after they close. What is even more frustrating is that they could have walked less than 50 yards to make sure they had it, knowing that I was over an hour away before assuring me that they had what I needed. I would not recommend this place of business.
I guess got new owner. They will give you a good price for junk car on phone but when they get out to car you will hear. It don't have aluminum rims it don't have 2 catalytic converts it has stuff inside it so on and so on. No doubt it don't have aluminum rims if it did I would pull them off. Anyway when they get to your car they will offer you 50 or 70 bucks. Yea right the car can rot where it sets. If you would have said let me look at it then make an offer maybe but the unprofessional way you did it nope it can keep setting
They did not have the part I was looking for but was gave me names and directions to several other places that would have the part I was looking for. The first place they sent me too actually did have 1 of the parts I was looking for and I have looked at several other salvage yards and come out empty handed.
I was in the area for vacation and decided to stop in to look for a part for a project I'm working on back home. They were very welcoming (even offering tips and hints for local attractions) and very fair on price. I wish I had a place like this local to me.
