I arrived at Kittell's at approx 9am - afte having called to please prepare a brake package for my 2014 FJ Cruise (I had a scheduled trip to the dump on the way - but on Wednesdays the dump didn't open till 2pm) - my vehicle had bags of garbage in it - I walked into the store - my parts *break pads - we were waiting for me, and the Clerk (she) allowed me to dump my garbage in their dumpster. I came home IN THE POURING RAIN - and was able to apply the brake parts and fix my regular car (I restore cars so I was busy with that, too). Kittrel's has been a Great Resource for me - from parts to paints - their people are always courteous and efficient. I really appreciate them and the work they do.
The only place in town that could crimp A/C hoses for our DIY install project. Very thankful for the quick service and the great price. A job well done!
Excellent service from clerk. Even if he was busy , all I remember he gave me above and beyond expressional service by answering questions and was very professional. Gave that man a raise yesterday. Thanks again
I didn't even make a purchase and the staff here went above and beyond to help me. I was stranded with an overheated car. They helped not just with car, but made phone calls and local recommendations to get me back on the road.
These guys back their word 100%. Had to exchange a defective part, they did w no questions asked! No $! No problem! They were even courteous about it! Stick with Carquest at Kittrell's Auto Parts in Havelock!
On 6/28/2017 at 7:25 am I arrived at store needing a part. Grab the doors and they were both locked. I saw they had 5 minutes still to open. So I hung out in the parking area and looked at an old corvette. I assume it was the guy peeking through the glass at me. I walked around a bit till 7:35. I glimpsed up again and saw I was being watched but still had locked doors. I think my business was important but he didn't I guess. As I drove away to the light he then decided to open up the business. This is poor business. I was giving them another chance as the last time I was in there they acted as if I was a bother because of a young female they may have been entertaining. I try to shop local as I live near there. I'm now done with them. I'm sure it will be another empty building soon. It's sad.
Staff looks like its a hassle to help you and they hate work. Poor selection is store compared to Advance Auto and AutoZone. Inventory looks dusty and old because nobody buys their stuff or they don't clean the place.
