There one and half foot of snow outside and my truck got stuck in it grays towing comes by and sees someone stuck in the road they tow them out for free so I go outside and ask if they would pull me out too and they said they have to charge $30 bc there’s cameras on there truck and they don’t want to get in trouble idk who the awful owners are or whoever it is telling there drivers not to help people at a time like this but your awful. At. A time like this anyone should be doing whatever they can to help other people in the community! Yeah I had $30. But I was so shocked when he said he couldn’t help me unless I paid I just walked away so sad that people are like this greedy and money hungry can’t ever just help another person from the kindness of there heart
Matt was very helpful. He jumped my battery and determined that my alternator needs to be replaced. He followed me to the car repair shop down the road to make sure the battery didn’t die again. He also was kind and provided excellent customer service.
My tire went flat earlier this evening and I was stressing so badly trying to figure out what I was going to do for work and school tomorrow. Matt came in with such good vibes even with the time I decided to call (8PM). I can’t even put into words how kind and chill he was especially with the drive HERE AND BACK for one flat tire. On top of that, I went inside, not even for five minutes, and he was already finished with his things ready to go. A true man of his work, very impressed. And thank you, Matt! I can get errands done.
I was locked out of my car and received help from Daniel retrieving my keys. Daniel was a huge help and made the process extremely easy. If anyone deserves a promotion it’s Daniel I appreciate his hard work and ability to make small talk in a very annoying situation for myself.

.Had a tire with bubbled sidewalls from driving to store on a flat(my fault) and Matt Matt matt, the man of the hour! Just happened to be there. I had a flat tire and contacted AAA, who sent me to Gray's Towing. Matt contacted me almost immediately and within less than 30 minutes he was at my house. Matt was incredibly efficient and professional, and kept me informed of everything he needed to do. I am so blessed that AAA sent Gray's Towing and Matt to help me out. While contacting towing is not always a pleasant thing, Gray's made the process easy and seamless. Thank you for such professionalism and excellent service. I had a blowout on Hwy 70 yesterday between Havelock and New Bern. My husband called Gray's to come put my spare on . They responded within minutes, went straight to work and I was back on the road in no time!! The tech. (I can't recall his name now but it came in as Jasmine on the text he sent ... want him to get credit for his great service tho!) was friendly and informative. I would recommend Gray's to everyone!
I would like to commend Matt from Gray’s Towing.My wife’s car had a dead battery Today, the weather was in the 40s and raining. Grays had a technician out there within 45 minutes. His name was Matt. He was professional, courteous, and effective. This was not just a normal battery change. He had to remove a lot of parts to get to the battery, including windshield wiper motors, and much more in cold rain. I would highly recommend Matt and Gray’s towing to any of my friends, family or patients.

Our vehicle refused to start, even after putting in a new battery to replace the mostly dead one (probably a bad starter ). Dakota arrived to tow us to Gordon Family Service in Otway. He wanted to check a couple issues first, in case it was something simple which would negate the need to tow it. Turned out to NOT be simple, so he immediately hooked up the vehicle for removal from the parking lot. He was very personable on the ride to Otway, suggesting repairs to our vehicle. Gray's Towing was amazing, and probably saved my truck. I got myself accidentally stuck on railroad tracks late at night and you couldn't get out. I called around, looking for rapid response due to the situation but couldn't get help fast enough. When I got to GT, everything changed. They were very helpful, professional, and understanding. Wesley showed up, rapidly accessed the situation, and towed me to safety quickly without damages to my vehicle. Cherry on top? Their prices was unbeatable. My car broke down in Jacksonville NC on Saturday night, November 8, 2025. I called Gray’s Towing to tow my car to New Bern, NC. The driver, Joe, was a very welcome site to me and my son. He called me when he started down to Jacksonville and arrived within the timeframe he gave me. He got my car hooked to the record very quickly and was extremely personable and kind. The cost was very reasonable.Would definitely recommend this business for any Towing needs.
Jeremiah was on the scene in less that 3 minutes! He first checked to see if I was okay in friendly and kind manner. He was concerned about my personal safety on the highway. He explained the whole process, and even suggested a different tow destination given my problem to avoid another tow to a different shop. He was very pleasant as I rode with him to the shop. He made the entire event far less stressful! I highly recommend Gray's towing!

We didn't win anything, but am glad that they said they do the mechanic's lein, so if we were to have won, it *should* be an easy titling process with the DMV.
We'll keep an eye out for more future auctions, though I wish they'd just start the pricing at the reserve price they want.

They were there in a flash and Travis was nice and knowledgeable and QUICK! Saved my but when my alternator took a dive. Not crazy expensive and showed me an Indian trick that I appreciate very much. Would call them again.
