Every time we call here, they aren't very friendly. Whoever it is who answers the phone lacks basic communication skills like "you're welcome" and "thank you". I guess they don't realize that customer service can make or break a business.

If you order a rear axle be prepared that's all you will get. The brake lines was bent ,sensor wiring was cut right before plug no rotors no sway bar just bent brake strouds and bare rearend

Ordered part, drove 3 and a half hours away after getting an ail saying it was ready for pick up just for the guy to give me am attitude and tell me he couldn't sell it to me

Spoke to a sales representative seems like he absolutely hates his job. So much attitude for no reason. Wouldn't search up a part for me. Very useless and unprofessional.

The guy that answers the phone had an Attitude. Hangs up every time without giving me a honest answer. If you don't like your job then just quit an stop working a job where you have to talk to customers all day long. I bet Jerry wouldn't like the way you talk to customers. Other then this dude answering the phone it's a great place to get parts.

Called asking for a part they had listed online. Guy gave me a straight up attitude saying I don't want it because it needs fiber glass work, which I'm ok with. I told him I'm still interested then he says he doesn't have it and it's damaged pretty good. Picture online shows it's fine other than some sun fade. I told him I'm still interested and he says I'm not listening that it's damaged and he doesn't have it anymore. Then why are you telling me I don't want it, it's damaged and it's listed for sale on their site? Straight waste of time and super rude. Definitely not dealing with them again. I was planning to spend a good amount with them too. Had my truck ready to go pick up a few parts from them but oh well.

I was asked to hold which amounted to 9 minutes, no big deal. The guy that handled my call seemed to care less about explaining what the condition of the part I was inquiring about, wouldn’t even look at the part. Also told he wouldn’t ship it because it wasn’t “insurance quality”. When I asked what insurance quality meant, he acted as though I were questioning his experience. Then told me it meant repairs more than paint were needed. He didn’t even let me finish saying thank you when he abruptly hung up. Politeness and customer service was a low priority.

The two stars I gave was for the price, that I was happy with. First, I called this morning and though I was given correct information the man I spoke with on the phone was very very rude!!! I asked a couple questions because I was driving 2.5 hrs to pick up the parts I needed and I needed to make sure they had exactly what I needed. So we get there and were able to go look at the vehicle because there was apparently some slight damage to the part I needed. I looked at the damage and decided I could still use the part so I went to speak with a gentlemen inside. The man that took me inside was trying his best to let me speak with someone else but the "rude" gentleman I spoke with on the phone stopped him and insisted I speak with him (I do not know his name but he was wearing a "beanie" working the front desk). We went back and forth on the price because I was willing to take the damaged part and several other parts if they would work with me because the part was damaged. He did, reluctantly & again was rude about it, but he did. We arrived at a satisfactory amount, I paid and followed the other man back out to the vehicle. I waited while they pulled the 3 parts I paid for. They set the first part on top of another car (it was a heavy part...not a good idea) I watched in horror as it fell off the other car and onto the ground completely curling one entire side of it. It is at this point unusable as a replacement part I am now going to have to transfer everything off of it onto mine and just use the original part I WAS replacing. It would have been much easier for me to just have been able to bolt on the new part! They almost set it back on top of the car when I spoke up and suggested going ahead and putting it in their parts van. They did and moved onto the next part, they took it off and while carrying it to the van hit every car on each side with it, somehow amazingly managing to not do any damage to it. The last part came out fairly easy with no incidents. On the way out I had pretty well talked myself out of going back inside and trying to get any money back for the part that was badly damaged because the man inside was again so very rude that I already knew he would argue with me about it and I more than likely not only wouldn't have gotten any money back for the damaged part but probably would have had to end up leaving it there because it was damaged and I asked for a refund or some money back, I could just tell by speaking with him twice that is how that convo would have went! I needed the part pretty badly, obviously I drove 2.5 hrs for it! So even though I could no longer just bolt the part on I could make it work but taking EVERYTHING off of it and transferring it over to the part I already had so I didn't want to lose the part all together. Instead I just kept my mouth shut loaded it up and went on my way. I also did not want to cause trouble for the 2 gentlemen that pulled the parts they were both as nice as they could be. The gentleman at the front counter needs to be replaced. You cant wait on customers and answer the phone for a business with an attitude like his, I know I own my own business and I wouldn't have a man like that running my counter. He is the impression that's left on your business, the first and last person your customers speak to, and most times the only impression your customers have on your business! He needs to be out there pulling parts and the gentleman outside need to come in and deal with the customer service!!! He was very rude, hateful and just acted like he was being bothered! I even asked him what the story was on the Baby Blue International with the car hauler outside was (the man that pulled my parts told me he thought it might be for sale) he literally asked me with a smirk "what baby blue truck?" Again acting like my question bothered him or took up his precious time! I said the "BIG BLUE 18 wheeler truck with the car hauler sitting right outside as soon as you walk in!!!" I never did get a straight answer to that question!

This is a place where you should come definitely if you are on the market looking for parts for late model vehicle! They have everything up to 2019!!!! The whole team is awesome!!!! Thank you Chris for all years we worked together¡!!¡!!!!!!!!!!

Enjoy coming to this place some days we don't find what we need but the days we do find what we need, prices are super fair. Tiny is a cool dude. Could be cleaned out and new cars brought in more frequently but other than that awesome place!

Good place to find used parts for fair prices. Prices could be a little cheaper but they do offer a warranty on all the items so in the end it's worth it. And the radiator I bought today so fast so good knock on wood lol definitely will be back to get more parts

went to their UPULL yard and i had on a competitors T-Shirt, was cornered and asked to remove my shirt, (not in a nice way) said they'll give me a better shirt than what i had on, i said no, then i was cussed at by 2 goons and was told to get the (expletive) out of here!! I can't believe they treat customers this way, over a TSHIRT! Ill just stay with the competitor and not come back. I don't take threats lightly!

I see people leaving one star ratings and it makes me scratch my head. I also saw where this business also tried to reach out to those that left bad reviews. That was the deciding factor on doing business with Auto Parts of Shelby. Dean was my sales person. He was more than helpful with my query and courteous. He walked me out to the warehouse and showed me the engine I was asking about. He was very up-front about the possible damage to the internal parts (broken cam gear, possible bent valves). Dean was also very friendly and struck up several conversations during my visit. The other two guys that helped me get the engine in the car were also very friendly and courteous. I highly recommend Auto Parts of Shelby to anyone in need of used auto parts. I live about 45 minutes away and I will not hesitate to return!

Love this place friendly people very helpful will cross reference parts for you ...they have their vehicles listed in rows so its easier to find your vehicles also has make ,model year, and color which is really ,really helpful in finding the correct vehicle you need for your parts thanks guys
