Don't want to take any scrap to the u pull first thing only got paid half the price for copper and aluminum then give me a check that was back dated for last year an no one would cash it
My favorite place to go some times. I love to pull parts from cars. They even let me get a stocking off the tree. . I did get 5% off my headlight. One lady there is sweet. I don’t know her name. lol but she knows who she is
Very helpful staff help me get a part off would recommend any1 to go there if they need a part 4 their car and I will b goin back if and when I need any part 4 my car
On August 26, 2025 we called a company to pick up a Ford Festiva to sell for scrap. They sent out L & L towing. When the driver arrived he was in a huge flat bed truck with another vehicle on the back. As he was backing in I asked the driver if he would winch the car out since the vehicle was in the back of our property. He said he thinks he can get it by backing in. He told me no he wouldn’t try to winch it out. He did NOT listen to me and backed in anyway crushing the driveway. He pulled the car out over the driveway again crushing it further. He immediately stopped and unhooked the car and told us he couldn’t get the car out because the wheels were locked and since he already had another car on his truck, he couldn’t pull it down the road. He said someone else from his company would have to come and get it and he left. Nothing was left with me and nothing was signed or said.
We called the company who initiated the tow and let them know of the damage to our driveway. We were told that we needed to call the tow company to get them to handle this issue as they damaged the property. We called L & L Towing and was told that they would let the owners know of the damages and they would take care of it. We were informed that the 2nd driver would be there within the hour.
When the 2nd driver came my Son, Bradley, was outside and the driver pulled the car from the side of the driveway. Since my Son was selling the Festiva for money, the driver handed him the check and had him sign the tow slip.
We repeatedly called the owners and left messages and was told we would be called back, with no response. After 3 weeks of calling and waiting, we spoke to Noelle. She stated that she would be delivering a message from the owners. She said that they stated they were not responsible for the damaged property because our Son, Bradley, signed a form saying that they are not responsible for any damages caused to property. We informed her that we did not sign anything from the 1st driver who damaged the driveway, was not informed by the company upon calling during the incident about them not being responsible, the 2nd driver asked only for a signature to get the check, and was not informed for 3 weeks after the incident when calling to speak to owners. We were told to take them to court because they were not responsible.
We called our homeowners insurance and was told that it’s the responsibility of the tow company and we could not file it on our homeowners insurance.
We’ve called, mailed letters, and now (after 3 months) are leaving this review and are sending a certified letter stating if they will not comply, we will be taking action against them in court for the repair and costs of our damaged driveway.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had such a great experience at L&L U-Pull-It in Shelby! The staff here are some of the kindest and most helpful people you’ll ever meet. They went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed and answered all my questions with patience and professionalism. It’s rare these days to find a place where people genuinely care about helping you, but that’s exactly what I found here. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for parts and great service!
I'm building stands for my vise and drill press and they help me find different things even gave me suggestions to use also found a stainless steel tabletop which will make a great workbench . We even took time to give me ideas on how to build the stands L&L U-Pull-It of Shelby will definitely be my go-to for my Future needs Thank you Candy and Lee
Prices were great compared to other places. Found the parts I needed fast and even had one of employees loan me a tool to help make the job easier for me to get the parts I needed off of the vehicle. I will definitely be coming here from now on for any other parts I need that don't have to be brand new.
Decided to check this place out. Bought an alternator at a great price. Vehicle was super easy to find on the lot. Car parts have 30-day warranty with the exception of tire sets posted in the hallway which made me feel better in case the alternator I bought was bad. I give this place a 5-star all day long! Great staff too!
Went in to get some tires and the tag was wrong. After I left I asked if I could exchange for the right size and even pay any difference I was told over the phone tire sales are final. There is no posted signs anywhere stating that and I want informed at not prior to checkout. I absolutely do not recommend this place. They do have a return policy so to not accept this as a return is ludicrous. I've already spoke to my attorney.
I found a driveshaft and rear axle for a dodge there. Paid good money to have the parts pulled for me. When I arrived to pick my parts up, I got the axle but only half of a driveshaft. I was told it was never there and it was my fault. Wouldn’t refund my money and I as told it was my fault. Look at the photo. Sure looks like the part was there to me or there would be corrosion on that part. If you want to get took, go to l and l is the moral of the story.
Would not recommend this place. I scheduled through Peddle a pickup for Monday and they called and said they couldn't pick it up until the following Monday between 7-11am. The day came and I asked for an estimated time and they said they couldn't give me one, not even a window of time. I waited all day called 5 times and they finally said the truck broke down and could make it. Absolutely no customer service and very unprofessional. I called Peddle and complained.
