While it is a unique venue, it was July, in NC. Really grateful we didn't have rain as there are NO windows. They definitely need more shade options on patio and work is necessary on wooden stairway coming from parking lot to venue entrance (scary with cracked stair boards, nails exposed and sticking up) Fans inside do help move the hot air, individual toilet stalls/rooms are air conditioned.

Far out but so worth it! Inside was not as hot as you’d think, perhaps because there’s no windows and they use industrial fans to help circulate air

As a wedding photographer, the Providence Cotton Mill is one of my favorite wedding venues in the area! There are so many great places to take photos on wedding day - from the gorgeous grassy field to the stunning indoor space with high ceilings and exposed brick. I love photographing at The Providence Cotton Mill!

Oh my goodness where do I begin, I love taking photos at the Providence Cotton Mill, it's a gorgeous old-fashioned and open air building and the grounds are beautiful too! I look forward to being back here soon!

Our videography team worked with Summer at The Providence Cotton Mill at a 2024 wedding and it went very smoothly. Summer was organized and professional and made sure that the vendors had what they needed to make the couple's day picture perfect. The venue is so photogenic and the team there does a great job.

The venue is like ITALY but in USA ???? most beautiful in SC !!!! Everyone NEEDS to have their wedding there !!!

The most spectacular wedding venue! We could not have asked for anything more. The facilities were so grand and beautiful. Sommer the owner and our wedding coordinator was perfect. Very communicative, executed the wedding perfectly.

Providence Cotton Mill is BEAUTIFUL! I had the privilege of being DJ/MC for a Wedding this past weekend here. The owner and her assistant and staff are super easy and great to work with. Load in and load out not only for djs, but for others as well is also a easier task then other venues. All around, I wouldn't hesitate to select this venue for a forever celebration. -Endless Dreams Entertainment

The most BEAUTIFUL venue around! From the time we booked to the wedding day everything was organized and ran smoothly! Sommer and her team went above and beyond to make our day special. We had so many guests tell us how unique and gorgeous this venue was! I cannot recommend this venue enough!

This is such a beautiful venue. My family friend had their wedding ceremony outside the e building and then the reception inside. Love the rustic look and the fact that their bathroom stalls are individual stalls w/ its own door. Being it was really cold outside during the reception, the upper windows to the main entrance made it really cold inside while the rest of windows were covered up. Luckily the place had heaters.

Great venue. Attended a wedding there this week. Beautiful setting in a windowless old cotton mill. Outdoor setting for the ceremony, cocktails on side entrance to the building, large indoor space for the reception. Only reason it did not get 5 Stars is that the staircase down from the parking area is hazardous (step changes not marked with tape or paint… my Wife fell when she did not see a drop off). They do have signs but she thought they were due to light rain making it slippery. Also, the gravel parking and uneven grass makes walking in heels a challenge.

The Providence Cotton Mill is the most unique wedding venue and the best part is the indoor, outdoor feel without having to worry about weather since you are covered. We got married June 3rd and rented the fans, everyone felt great inside! The mill is so unique and sets the atmosphere for your big day! Our guests just went on and on about the venue. Absolutely gorgeous event venue. A little hot for the wedding ceremony and cocktail party in the adjacent lawn and patio, but they had fans on the patio, which helped. The actual Mill area is open with no windows (although the kitchen, dressing rooms, restrooms and vendor set up areas are air conditioned). We were thankful to have good weather and cooler temperatures in the evening. If the weather had not been as nice as it was, it could have been an unpleasant affair.

This venue is STUNNING! We have had the pleasure to work events here multiple times (we're wedding photographers), and we just can't get enough! My clients had a great experience citing quick responses from the owners after they had to find a whole new wedding venue due to COVID. This venue is one-of-a-kind and offers an atmosphere you can't find anywhere else. I especially love the interior during the day (the light is SO beautiful) and the outdoor spaces for portraits. I very much look forward to working here again! ?

Providence Cotton Mill is one of my absolute favorite venues! The owners are incredibly kind and responsive, and the venue is out of this world. The facilities are always clean and well taken care of. This is a fantastic option for any event!

Beautiful wedding venue with enough room for a 250 - 300 person wedding. The character of the venue is seen throughout the structure from top to bottom. The brickwork and wooden beams add to the ambience. The lighting is perfect day or night. There are about 6 restrooms to accommodate guests. The venue has enough space for a ceremony to take place at one end and a dinner at the other end. Definitely had a great time!

I can't say enough good things about The Providence Cotton Mill and their staff. As a wedding photographer, I know how important it is to get along with the vendors on your wedding day. The Mill had won me over in it's appearance as it's clearly the perfect venue to get married in, all that was left was to meet the staff. Ethan & Sommer were extremely helpful, accommodating, friendly, professional, and clearly know what they're doing and how to make each and every bride feel special and like the Mill is their home! From the initial meeting, to the bridal shoot (that's included in the package!), to the rehearsal dinner (and day before shoot that they so generously let us do!), to the wedding day - everything went absolutely perfectly and without a hitch!! By 10 am the morning of the wedding I was already telling everyone "this venue and this staff was worth every. single. penny". Elegant & Classy events were a dream to work with as well and I couldn't have asked for things to go smoother, or look better than they did. I will ALWAYS recommend The Providence Cotton Mill as the venue any bride should choose - I'm beyond confident you won't be disappointed. Thank you for making my wedding day even better than I could have imagined.

Aesthetic is great if you're looking for a rustic venue but when it's hot outside you're relegated to being hot (no AC or ceiling fans). The venue staff was not good during our event - water was empty by 8:30 for a wedding reception, bathrooms ran out of tissue and paper towels, and mosquitoes moved in at dusk. If you catch nice weather this place is probably great, but if the staff is constant you might have issues.
