We ran aground while anchoring outside Edisto, SC. John dispatched to come help and though he expertly tried to get us off, we were dug in with our wing keel. So he stayed with our boat hours until we got enough tide to successfully get us into deeper water. While waiting he not only retrieved our primary anchor, he and I retrieved our secondary anchor which a buddy boat deployed to try to keep us from heeling too much as the tide continued to ebb. Above and beyond kind of stuff for sure!!

I’ve towed many boats in my years and been in many tight spots as a professional mariner. This was my first time being towed by someone else. Bear at towboat US in Swansboro is great under pressure and in tight spots. Great captain- great job!
Forrest with Towboat did an outstanding job helping us when our boat sank. He arrived immediately and wasted zero time trying to get the boat floating again. Couldn't be happier with support he was able to provide in such short notice. I highly recommend reaching out to Towboat and Forrest if you find yourself in the most unfortunate boating circumstances

AWESOME PEOPLE! Yea I saw a 1 star review - however what do you expect when you're not a member?!?!? I have nothing but great things to say about this local TowBoat. We stayed in Beaufort Docks and experienced an engine issue pulling out for the day - Jonathon Evans was dispacthed to us and could not have been nicer, more helpful or experienced. I don't know HOW these guys navigate these tides, winds etc. and get boats where they need to be! Couple days later we needed to bring her down to the boat ramp, called and Jonathon came again! He even helped my wife hook up the trailer and back it down the ramp! I cannot be more grateful and if I could give Jonathon and this local TowBoat 10 stars I would! Pays to be a GOLD member!!
