My husband just went and dropped some scrap off and he called the guy while he was on the scale and told him the weight and when he went in he got ticket for way less than what the scale said. Wouldn't recommend anybody go there, they rip people off and been doing it for years. Go out of Caldwell County if you have scrap, none of them are honest in this county. If they had half a star then I'd give them that.
They are lowball and try to get you they ran a bad check and they said they would pay the fees but they didn’t pay for the fee and made me run back and forth for a check number. There no bueno

Last several times I've been there you get absolutely no help just sit in bobcat and smoke cigarettes and watch me unload a Whole Trailer Load will not be back
Scrap price was ok. Guy lifted the car off my trailer with an excavator and put way too much into it, bottomed out both my truck and trailer thought he was going to break something.
They don’t sell used parts even though it’s listed on google and on the huge sign out front and the lady was rude about me asking about buying parts. Change your name and your sign if you are just a scrap yard.
I ask for their Aluminum can price and they said. 15 cents per lb. I called 5 other places and they were around .75 cents per lb. So they are ripping everyone off. Everyone go somewhere else and get what is owed to you. Don't fill their pockets.
Go somewhere else. Rates are so low it’s not worth your time, unless you enjoy being ripped off. Ask what they pay before assuming it’s anywhere near normal, because it’s not.
Receptionist is skimming money off the tickets. Got paid and didn’t get a receipt. Asked about receipt and she said it would take a while, I waited and there was a difference in pay. I questioned it and she said since I had turned my back waiting on the reciept that she would have to count all the money in the drawer and all the tickets for the day and it would take a while. Wasn’t worth waiting for an hour. Check your ticket and cash before you leave.
Well i have been there a total of about 3 times. I think it will be my last time i go there. The prices they pay are so much lower its unreal ! Steel and copper are the only scrap i would take here.They where pay 1.65 for clean brass and the Gordon's in downtown hickory paying 2.15 and payed me .30 for clean stainless. The other scrapyard pays .75 I said something to the rude lady they had working and some guy there he look at me like i was crazy and she said they where a small company and couldn't afford to pay them prices. I could see a little difference but not like that.
I took 4 trash bags of smashed cans and my roommate who is 73 years old went in to pay and they only
Gave here a $1.42 cents for all they cheated her and she took the money so I couldn't do nothing about it

Very rude and unprofessional. The website says they are open on Saturday but when I called they very rudely let me know that they now were closing on Sat. I hate this place. Ran by crack heads
Hours don't make sense why so short on Saturdays should be as long or longer than week days. Need to extend Saturday hours. But nice pull-a-part and very fair prices.
