I took #1an 2 copper, Bear bright, clean stainless steel and more but they did not let me see when he weigh anything my truck was the only thing I seen and it and my Trailer weighed 44000 the first time I went there the next time it weighed 44040 it should have been the same as the first time I went and the guy didn’t give me $for clean stainless steel or number one copper they give me the price for bear bright for my #1copper but I had more copper then bear bright it should have been weighed right and separate and it Weighed way more than 18 pounds it was 40 to 50 pounds there and that copper should have been 130$to 150$ and the guy told me when I confronted him my copper was to little and I took about the same amount to asheboro recycling and they paid me more there and they put my #1 copper as #2 they got me to but I know I had more than what they gave me I even called them to but they shit me and I know it.if I didn’t have to pick up my kid that day i would have talked to the big guy before I left but I couldn’t so I called and my dad/jimmy D has been coming there for 10 to 20 years now they try to shit him to but he set them straight long time ago and they know when he gets there and I’m a woman so I guess it’s different I wasn’t trying to make conflict and so they didn’t think I knew what I was doing. it’s not Leonard it’s them guys he has working for him that younger guy anyway they should not have did me like that cause I would not be writing this review right now an I’m not sorry I am right and I know it.I’m going back again with more to talk to the big man and that is probably all I’ll go somewhere else

I went to haul off a load of metal on 10-6-23. Well they were pretty packed when we got there. There was approximately 9 vehicles ahead of us in line. One vehicle move a vehicle length then the next. And it resulted in stop and go of engine of our truck. However while we were in line to unload we ran out of gas. The big boss I call him actually came over to our truck and asked what was wrong... My husband replied it's got to be coil wire or out of gas due to our coil wire was temporarily a fix before we left our house. So anyways the big boss said okay sir I'm going to go get you a jug of gas. Time passed by and then he returned back had a 3 gallon jug of gas and handed it to my husband. Well my husband offered to pay him back for the gas and he refused to take it. He said it wasn't much but I hoped it helps you.... Once I got inside to cash out I again offered the lady at front office if she would hand this money to big boss man and tell him thank you.... The lady replied he want take it so just pay it forward .... Im saying this man went above and beyond to be sure his customers were able to be served and to make a great customer service for his business as well.

I have been on an off going all the way from VA state line in Stoneville, Mayodan NC sense 2007 or 08 when the business was ran out of his home property off in Welcome with my Father and my late brother. I came very regularly then and continued after the shop opened on Hwy 8. I came out there atleast 6 times sense 2022 and had absolutely no problem when I brought a 02 Honda cat in Feb of this year. I am rarely forgotten by many and ask Leonard if he remembered who I was bc when he operated off his personal property we would ALWAYS have NC STATE TROOPERS profile every vehicle they knew was coming to bring converters even if you are 100 percent honest and legal through personal taxable scrap business that were doing nothing wrong. I had a unlucky day around 2009 and couldn't count the number of State Troopers and Davidson County sheriff's hounding me for receipts Vin numbers to the vehicles which the cays came from and couldn't get my father who was the boss off our family business but with Leonard knowing who was with 1 comment to the police they vanished like a magic trick. I asked Leonard today 10/31/24 if he remembered me from way back when and was immediately in a polite way told to burn the road up. Before I left the parking lot I had atleast 1 decent man and atleast 4 dopeheads (sorry not sorry) ask I wanted to sell them the cats for the most insulting junkie for fractions of what he did atleast tell me they would pay but even w the propers proof of business was told that I had to show proof of ownership w Vin numbers. I was already highly let down because where his business has gotten so big absolutely treated me like a con artist and at the same time to be belittled by such arrogant customers just completely trying to rip me off at the same time I would never waste my time ever going back down there for any given reason if the profit was something you couldn't walk away from nor would I ever refer or say anything good about this business ever again I do not to gossip but this was something I'm definitely never going to forget I do not appreciate anyone in this world talking to me as if I'm anything less than a human being his worker even was writing the ticket out on a completely misunderstood statement from the boss and I went up to him and told him because I am an honest person I could have took that ticket and got the money and left but it didn't feel right these are the kind of people that you say how do you sleep at night they don't sleep at night they sleep in the daytime on their days off very rough Murphy's Law day tomorrow is a new and I will never try to remember this day again CURTIS DUSTIN DOSS
