I was stranded by the side of the road With an exploded tire in a construction zone with no idea where I was. I was disoriented and felt like panicking
The first place I called for help said if I couldn’t tell them the mile marker, they couldn’t help me and hung up.
Then I called Hall Towing ;and the young lady who answered the phone I think her name was Cheyenne went out of her way to be understanding and to assure me that she would help me through this crisis.
When I couldn’t provide any location information, she graciously and patiently transferred me to Adam, I think he may be the owner, who was just as kind and understanding, and while I am a cyber and tech train wreck; he asked if I could do FaceTime, which I’ve never tried before. He sent me the link and I accepted, and he kindly asked me to point the camera toward the road which I did. He immediately said he knew exactly where that was without me giving him any directions and said he would send someone to help as quickly as he could.
Shortly thereafter, Mark and Ethan arrived, and We’re also helpful and kind and assured me of their help, even though I didn’t even know where I was and had no idea where to have the car towed, but they helped me out there and towed the car to a tire repair place and even took me to A motel where I could get a room since it was already late and all the businesses had closed. Ethan Who drove me to the motel was so friendly, and put me at ease for which I am most grateful.

I had my car towed to Hall's to have some minor repair work, replace the starter and do a tune up and charge the a/c system. I told them that their was an electrical draw which was draining the battery, which I replaced. In the 2 weeks that they had the car I didn't receive one phone call, I stop into the shop speak to the kid working on the car he assured me that everything I asked for would be complete with the exception of wheel alignment, which they didn't do and I was fine with it, which I understand. They tow the car back to me with a battery pack under the hood. Who sends a car back that doesn't run? I call the garage to ask why and I get some b/s story.
I was told to stay away because they are hacks and I should have listened. STAY AWAY FROM THEM AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! THEY ARE HUGE HACKS!!!!
Parked their towing rig in an urgent care parking lot, literally blocking 6 parking spots in a completely full parking lot for a medical facility right after a natural disaster. There are large open parking lots less than ¼ mile away of businesses that are not currently open, and not an urgent care.
Good folks, they’re still recovering from Helene but we’re very easy going and allowed me to park my trailer here while I got my truck worked on at MHC.
We have used Hall's a few times for auto repairs. They have replaced our tires, provided alignments, replaced our brake pads.
The worst was when our A/C stopped working in the Nissan Quest. Just one day in the middle of a drive, it started blowing hot hair. Hall's found the issue, replaced the problem.
They work quick, they're fair on pricing, take care of their customers.
Jeff the owner is a really great guy and always takes care of the locals, and anyone for that matter. Harold did an amazing job towing my vehicle and the prices are standard usually around $150 for across town. They have a great, knowledgeable mechanic staff as well and will tell you how it is, a really great shop.
i never leave reviews, especially negative ones, but i think this situation warrants one. my car was towed about one month ago by this company, yes i deserved to be towed, i accept that and i paid the fees, however i have a hard time accepting the fact that my car is now totaled because of this company’s negligence. from what i gathered from my insurance adjuster and the repair shop my car has been sitting at for weeks, this was a result of pure laziness. the man i spoke to at this company when i picked up my car was very friendly, and i have no idea if he had anything to do with what happened to my car, but there’s no way not a single person was aware of the damage caused, and they allowed me to drive it off the lot, almost causing an accident because the car is completely unsafe to drive at this point. 0/10 don’t recommend.
I called Hall's to help free our church van from a driveway with loose gravel and a steep grade. Harvey showed up within thirty minutes of calling, was courteous and patience, and was able to get our church van unstuck in less than 15 minutes.
Worst experience with a towing company ever. Hard to deal with wouldn't assist in information needed to get vehicle and turned truck over to finance company. Sorry excuse for a company and a human being. I hope that money burns a hole in his all the way to the gates of hell where he is surely is going.
My jeep left me stranded at work when the starter gave out. These folks towed my Jeep back to their shop and got the starter replaced very quickly and at good price.
It's never great when you need a tow but I would have zero issues using them again or recommending them if needed.
I took my car to have my engine splash shield installed back under my car. They knew exactly what to do to ensure it would not come loose again. They were extremely helpful and friendly. I would take my car there for any repair or maintenance service. Thank you!
I was stranded on the interstate with a truck that wouldn't move. The good people at Halls came in a jiffy, towed my truck, and diagnosed my problem. But instead of charging me and arm and a leg they only charged me for the towing since my truck could not be repaired. This is one bunch of nice, competent and honest people. I highly recommend this company.
SUPER NICE people. Driving in from Indiana my low tire light came on. I pulled in and asked for help. They jumped right up and helped me free of charge and sent me on my way. 10/10.
My wife and daughter were trapped in gridlock heading east after seeing the solar eclipse from Franklin NC. My wife had mentioned to me the AC was working inconsistently, but they weren't prepared for what happened next. They got off 40-E and headed to 70-E just before Black Mountain because the GPS said it found a faster route. However, the GPS hadn't yet caught up with reality and there was gridlock on 70 as well.
That's when the car overheated and they pulled off into a church parking lot. Was the AC compressor going bad causing the car to overheat? Hall's Towing & Recovery came to the rescue in the middle of this traffic nightmare that went on for over 6 hours, even getting out of the tow truck to tell drivers to stop inching along so he could squeeze through.
In calling in the emergency, they confirmed with me that the AC and overheating could be related. What they found once they got into the shop was the radiator had cracked and leaked due to a stuck thermostat, and the AC had shut off to stop drawing power from a hot car. The AC was fine. They replaced the radiator and the thermostat and that took care of all these problems.
I praise these guys for being thorough, courteous, and completely fair and ethical regarding the work they did for us and what they charged us. They turned out to be the bright spot in the solar eclipse adventure. I wish I lived closer to them. I'd go out of my way to have them service my car.
The best mechanic (Tommy) in our area. I used to take my vehicles to another local mechanic, a friend of mine for twenty years. He got slower and slower returning my car. At Halls they tell you when the job will be done and it is. New motor mount, same day. New starter, same day. New plugs, oil change, transmission fluid change, same day. I had these repairs done last month. Couldn't be more pleased.
THE MAN!!!!!! A magical man! We got our 18ft 3ton trailer stuck in a backyard half up a slop surrounded by stumps and a ditch. Wrecker couldn’t fit without damaging pipes, but man this guy knows his stuff!! He directed us through some seriously complex maneuvering and finished the job off with pure miraculousness!!!! Couldn’t get anyone else to help and within one minute if walking in the shop he was following behind us. Miracles.
By far the most professional and nicest towing operation I have ever encountered! We were traveling to Montreat for a Youth Conference and got our 15-passenger van stuck in our rental driveway. Sounds crazy, but it was too steep and got stuck- couldn’t back up (no traction and even 1 wheel off the ground!) or go forward (a 50-foot drop!).
Not only did the Hall’s team come right out to help they jumped on the problem and got us out of a serious situation very quickly.

A friend and I lost control of our steering power in the middle of the interstate. We called our roadside assistance and they said they could tow in 2 hours. We seen Hall’s tow and recovery and they said they could tow and have us fixed up within the hour! Needless to say we were in and out, fixed and for a very cheap price within 50 minutes! I would recommend these mechanics and tow drivers to anyone!
I totaled my car Friday night early Saturday morning and these people were the ones that come towed my car the driver his name is Jason he had went above and beyond the Call of Duty we couldn't find my dog and he offered to come look for her after he left off the scene with my car I didn't like that they drop me off at the gas station but I have somebody to come get me I just had to wait outside for 3 hours before she got there. Other than that he is so respectful and so nice and I can't say enough kind words for him and he hugged me and let me feel a little bit better about my dog dying we ended up finding her she had ran from the car and got hit by another car and died but he is so sweet and respectful and hey I just can't say much more about it he is an awesome person

Extremely rude dispatcher! Driver damaged private property while towing next door neighbor's car. Called dispatcher and he said I need to find something to "fill my day" besides watching other people work. Reported with video to police who said they had another video complaint about this company a few weeks back. I choose to not legally pursue the matter because everyone makes mistakes but the dispatcher/receptionist should be fired if this company wants to survive in the age of online reviews. Not sure who they paid for the five star reviews but they acted far from five star in all my interactions with this company. I wouldn't let them watch fecal matter of mine. much less my car.
They towed my car after it broke down on interstate. I couldn't have asked for better service - tow truck arrived in 15 min, the guy was nice, and didn't charge me a ridiculous amount like most towers.
