They recently restored my car after my insurance said it was totaled. They got the parts needed and kept me informed.
I highly recommend them for any and all car problems.
Called them this morning regarding a leaking tire. Even though they were down five people, they got me right in and plugged the tire for $20. The young man working on the tire let me watch and explained what he was doing. Everyone I came into contact with was very courteous. I will definitely use this establishment again.!
Excellent experience. These guys are professional and down-to-earth. My air conditioning needed help. It was a strange fix, but they figured it out and charged me fairly. Everyone here was a pleasure to interact with. This has become my go-to your and auto service center.
These guys are amazing, friendly, and know what they are doing!! We were on a beach trip and experienced tire trouble one night. By the good Lord we ran into the owner who helped change the tire and helped us at the shop the next morning!! We were in and out in no time!! Definitely recommend this place!!! Had to stop in for a flat tire yesterday. Even thought they were about to close, they still helped plug my tire. Employees were super nice. Will definitely be back if I have any troubles on my next vacation!
While on vacation with car trouble last week, we met Bo and his top-notch staff out of necessity. Not only did he quickly communicate the problem, he was friendly, personable and caring. All ended well as they fixed our van in less than 48 hours, and we paid what we were quoted. Their honesty and integrity is hard to come by these days. I highly recommend YSC and could not be more appreciative for our experience. Thanks Bo.
Our work vehicle wouldn't start so we had it towed to Yaupon who said they could get us in that day. After they let us know it was the starter, they fixed it that day for a little less than quoted and it was back to work the next day. Thank you!
Bo and the guys were great! My niece's Subaru started giving her trouble not long after arriving on OKI on May 19 . I called YSC and was told to come right away and Bo could diagnose it and hopefully fix it (Subaru's are tricky to fix and usually have to go to a dealership.) Not only did they fix it, but they did it quickly and very reasonably! They went above and beyond to put a frantic teenager at ease. I would highly recommend them whether you are a local or a visitor in need of an honest, friendly, reliable mechanic!
Very honest Christian repair facility. Great service for most all aspects of vehicle repairs. Local family owned and operated by the Warrens. Multiple generations of highly skilled and talented mechanics.
We were vacationing in Oak Island, NC and had an issue with our car. The first shop at which we stopped couldn't even look at it until "the end of the month".
We drove over to Yaupon Service Center, told them about the problem, and Bo came out quickly, diagnosed the cause and had someone working on it in a very short time.
The repair took around an hour and a half and we were back on the road again. I hope we don't need their help again but if we ever have car trouble in Oak Island I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Super helpful service center! I came by after the floods to have a code checked and they were so nice and showed me where the wire was that was causing the code and let me know how to fix it. Ultimately my car is safe to get me home and I highly recommend them to anyone needing service while on Oak Island!
We were on vacation and my Expedition’s service engine light came on. They were able to diagnose and had the part in stock. My vehicle was ready to go before the end of the day. So grateful for the service!
Mark at Yaupon Service Center saved us, truly. Our fuel pump went out in our BMW while on the Island, and when no one would return our call, Mark did. He also loaned us his PERSONAL car to drive back home to Charlotte while fixing our car in Oak Island. He even organized for someone to drive our repaired car to us, in Charlotte. This man would literally give the shirt off his back to anyone in need!! I believe that!! We recommend this service center to anyone!
Great place with great people. While on vacation my water pump started making a noise. Bo stopped what he was doing and verified it needed to be replaced. They gave me ride back to my vacation rental property and picked me up when my vehicle was finished, on the same day Charged a great price and did not take advantage of a tourist on vacation!
We were visiting Oak Island and the radiator went out! Mark and Bo were great! They were able to replace the radiator and get us on our way the same day! Great folks, highly recommend.
Yaupon service center was SUCH a huge help & blessing to us while on vacation at OKI. We woke up after a bad rain storm to our car not starting. We were heading home that day too, we told them we really needed to be able to be back in Charlotte, NC that night and they delivered! Specifically, Bo was very generous and helpful. We recommend this service center to anyone!
Just wanted to send out a HUGE recommendation for Yaupon Service Center on Oak Island. Last week my starter went out on my Hyundai Sonata. Parkway Hyundai in Wilmington said they might be able to work me into their shop late this week. I contacted Yaupon Service Center. They had the starter replaced and my car on the road the next day. Mark, Clint, Paul and Samantha were incredible! They are a honest, hard working 3rd generation OKI family business who care about excellent local customer service. I am now a loyal customer here for any auto repair needs in the future.
I can't tell you how thankful and greatful I am for Yaupon. My car wouldn't start this morning and within 10 minutes they were at my house, helped me to get it started and then right away diagnosed the problem in their shop. I have always received excellent and HONEST care from them and will never go anywhere else.
I came to Yaupon 3 times during my month long stay on Oak Island with issues on my old “dog van”. Each time they were able to resolve those issues in a fair and professional way. The last time, with an electrical problem, they gave extra effort to get me up and running again the day before my checkout. Don’t be put off by the rough around the edges look of their shop…they do good work at fair prices and their customer service in the shop is beyond compare. I am very thankful to Bo and his gang for taking such good care of me. Thanks!
While on vacation, our vehicle wouldn't start. Their roadside service came out and got it started. Dead battery. We went to the garage and they had a battery delivered. We were back on the road within an hour from the time we called. Price was extremely reasonable. Very pleased.
While on vacation, we picked up a nail in a tire. We looked online for a place that could possibly plug it. These guys got me in first thin in the morning and we're super quick. I appreciated the great service. They checked the air in and topped off all four tires, and got me back on my way. Highly recommend them if you need quick service.
Had issues while traveling into town for vacation. Bo put my truck on the reader and went for a test drive. When the issue did not present itself, he said to bring it back if it happens again. Took it back the next day when it started acting up, Bo took it for another test ride as soon as I brought it in and fixed it the next morning. Could not recommend this shop enough, great people and fair prices!
We are in town for vacation and live 4 hours away. The check engine light came on in my wife’s car. We wanted it checked out before we drove home in the summer heat as we didn’t want to break down nor cause any additional damage to her car. I spoke with Bo, he asked could I wait for him to finish up some tires he was working on. Then he checked the car, gave us some “maybe this or that’s” checked a few things under the hood for anything obvious. He believes it was a glitch from some bad fuel or something. Told us to drive it and to come back if it came back on. He gave us a little extra assurance that we could make it home without any issues where we will get it checked out more conclusively. He looked very busy and I’m sure helping us for a few minutes put him further behind but he did with a smile on his face and acted like we were the only thing he had to deal with today. He didn’t charge us a single dime. It was refreshing to deal with fair honest people. We will be back, might even plan our next vacation when we need tires so we can buy them from Bo.
These guys are awesome and went above and beyond to get me in and out despite me calling at short notice. They arranged transport while they worked on my car despite being super busy themselves. The work was a lot easier than originally expected and the invoice was surprisingly small. Trustworthy and honest. A+
My husband had a flat tire our second day of vacation. He has a lifted truck with massive tires so we were stressed. They came to us within 15 minutes of calling and had us good to go within 15 minutes of being here. Offered to tow it for us if it couldn’t be fixed in the driveway. Top notch service for a super cheap price! Saved our vacation! Super nice people, HIGHLY recommend.
Excellent experience. I had the belt on my mustang break and needed a tow so I went through my insurance and they had these guys come take care of me. I really couldn't ask for a nicer or more professional person to pick up your prized possession and take great care in doing it with no damage. Thanks for an awesome job!

Just had the BEST service performed to date. While visiting my aunt, I noticed a weird bubble forming on my tire and wanted to make sure it was checked out quickly. I arrived, told them my concern and Clint immediately came over to check the tire. He told me it was a factory defect and it was not safe to drive on. Clint went out of his way to swap it for my spare tire immediately. This business provided great service and fair prices. They are exceptional people! Clint wasn’t going to let me leave their lot due to my safety being at risk driving on that tire! Thank you so much, Clint!!
