Absolutely terrible towing company! Wouldn't recommend even if it was in walking distance from an accident site. The older man was really just unhelpful from start to finish. Came up with more problems & questions rather than solutions and answers.Then had the nerve to charge us over $800—$600 of it for the service (and it was within city limits) and $200 for storage. And this was after he took 4-5 calls in front of us after having to wait for him to even show up and gave them all LESS RATES for trips out of the city.
Update: This is MOST DEFINITELY the correct towing company as there's only ONE og's towing in the spring lake/fayetteville area. I suggest you look into your service and staff and get that together with the right person
My daughter’s STOLEN vehicle was taken here after being found, and was on a law enforcement hold. OGS towing did not secure the yard properly, and after tracking down the vehicle, the suspect was able to enter the towing yard without authorization, and retrieve unspecified items from the vehicle. We were also made to pay $600 for less than 24 hours of them having stored the vehicle. OGS towing made an already terrible nightmare, WORSE.
Scheduled for a car pickup through USAA on Friday, August 22nd for a 8am-10am window. Received confirmation text at 7:05am that they were dispatched and would be there in 45-75 minutes. At 9:20, they confirmed they were 20 minutes away. Called at 10am, they said they had a problem and would be to see in 45 minutes. Called again at 11am and was told 30 more minutes, at which case I had to cancel the tow altogether, as I no longer had time to deal with the situation before work. I would not recommend using this tow company.

Got stuck on HWY 210. It was not the first company I called, but the other company couldn't tow my truck. So I called OGS and explained my situation they said no problem. Came out not fast but timely considering. Very professional, safety first. Didn't charge me for an overnight storage fee. The truck got dropped off in the morning where it needed to go, and they contacted me and sent pictures. 10 outta 10 would use again.
Was able to get my belongings out of the impound without paying any money!

Didn't have the title, so I Just had to get a copy of an mvr-4 from the DMV (free if you just ask for a copy) and got it filled out and notarized.. should have done it same-day.
Towed my car while I was ordering to go from a restaurant that apparently has a shared lot. In town for business. Was told it would be $230 cash, told them I didn’t have cash. They said they had no way to accept credit. Went back-and-forth for several minutes and it turns out they can actually accept credit but they wanted to charge me $350 for the honor of running my card. This is a cash scam and I guarantee it will never make it to their books. I hope they get audited!!
Experienced a flat tire in Lumberton while on the way home the early morning after Thanksgiving. Our roadside assistance had OGS Towing Service. Driver was very professional and was able to plug our tire instead of towing us to Walmart. He saved us several hours during a 10 hour trip. Thanks again for the great service so early in the morning in such a remote location.
My husband and son were in an accident around 2:30 on a Sunday morning, Labor Day weekend. OGS towed our truck to their lot. After speaking with our insurance later that day, they told us the car was totaled. There were several items we needed to get from the truck. We called OGS later that Sunday morning. Though closed, he came back to his place of business on that Sunday to allow us to retrieve some of our personal items from the truck. We are greatly appreciative.
I do appreciate and we'll give credit where credit is due. The service was great. And the tow truck driver was pleasant. But what I don't appreciate is the strong arm of the price of $300 to tow the car 2 miles. When I advised that I no longer needed their service because I found many more tow truck drivers in the area for $100 or less for the same thing. The tow truck driver then insisted that since the police called him to assist that we had to use his service and strong armed us into paying. He even said he will give us a discount but still charged us $250. Which was $150 over everyone else in the area. Needless to say I will not be using their service ever again. And I wouldn't inform everyone that they are more expensive than all of their competitors.
The tow truck driver “Ricardo” was very professional and gave great customer service. He advised that I needed a new battery after checking it, that I didn’t need a tow unless I wanted one, and said an auto parts store nearby would replace for free if I bought one there. His recommendation
saved me time and money. With the day starting off poorly because my car wouldn’t start, this tow truck driver brightened my day and made me happy!
When I was told, “Be there in FIVE minutes.” I did not believe it…True to his word Orlando was there in FIVE minutes, during rush hour!
He was friendly, courteous and professional. I DEFINITELY recommend!
I had the pleasure of working with this team today! When my brothers car broke down he called me and we tried to contact his insurance. Insurance was giving us the run around…I googled the nearest Tow company and it connected me to OGS. They were able to come within 20 min and did an amazing job! Even though my brother’s car was sitting on three wheels. Good to go in less than a hour! Thank you guys for your amazing professionalism and service. Officially stored in my contacts for just in case emergencies!!
I had a flat on Fort Bragg and was stuck. Car didn't come with spare so I need a tow. It wasn't a slow leak either, it went flat in less than a minute. OGS gave me a short ETA so I didn't have to wait too long. He called 5 minutes out and when he arrived he was loaded and off in 5 minutes to the shop. Would recommend.
Just want to say very quick with the response time & move my car to the desire location without any hassle and assured me that everything went well! Great customer service and very friendly! I would definitely use their services again!
