This is my go to mechanics I’ve been going to them for 2 going on 3 years! These gentlemen are honest hardworking men. I wish all mechanics were like them. They won’t rip you off and they actually help you. I trust them completely with my car for they have never steered me wrong. If you’re looking for a good mechanic that gets the job done these men are it. Thank you guys for all your hard work.
Update on 3/28/24- This place is trying to rip people off! We have legal tint and they tried to charge $130.00 to pass it.. ONCE AGAIN IT’S LEGAL TINT SO WHAT HAPPENED TO CHARGING $10. We have used Hamlet Auto Repair and Salvage for years for repairs and inspections. Sounds like someone needs extra money in their pockets. Not cool!
This is definitely a trusted mechanic shop that will not try to rip you off. They are great mechanics especially the grandson!

Great engine builder. Uncle frank and his crew are well educated when it comes to engine building. You can also get a NC inspection here at this location, or search for parts through his salvage yard!
Helpful down to earth shop. Frank has been helping locals for decades. You get that family vibe when you deal with them. Im a repeat customer. That says allot
Walked into office and front desk worker was too busy gossiping to actually ask if I needed something or what he could help me with….carried on with his conversation even when he saw I was patiently waiting. I could understand if it’s about helping another customer but when it’s just gossiping instead of trying to see what this new customers needs or wants doesn’t make sense to me…no sense of customer service whatsoever
I wwnt 3 days in a row trying to fix my car and they helped me just to help me let me borrow any tools I needed and go through all the junk cars just bc I love junk yards!
Love these guys! If you want to take your car to a family business instead of the chains of Jiffy Lubes and dealerships, this place is for you. You are not a number here and the guys are really down to earth! I highly recommend this place.

I went there to get my North Carolina inspection. They were very courteous and efficient and I would recommend them, and they also do auto repair at a reasonable rate. He's been in business over 50 years.
