If this company tows your car good luck getting it back. My car was towed without permission from a permitted lot. They towed it without permission. State police had to get involved after my car was reported stolen by the chief of police because they couldn’t find it in any tow logs and no one in management from where my car was towed had asked for cars to be removed. Once it was found the state and local police were very helpful in getting my car back. A very nice trooper saw that my car was stolen in the system, cut the chain on their fence and had me drive out and go to the police station. The owner then harassed me for weeks and I had to file yet another report with the police. I’m surprised this company is still in business as the police know they are extremely shady. Use Alamance towing. Their lot is not even 400 yards down the road.
Horrible company. Charged $50 for having the car there for 2.5 hours plus $280 for towing it. Well above other towing prices and zero flexibility - hide behind their policy THAT THEY CREATED. Also they only accept cash apparently? No card reader which is sketchy. Had to send him Apple Cash and he made me pay $4 extra (don’t know why, Apple Cash is free to withdraw). I know that my car being towed without my permission is different than needing a tow but I would check out a different business to avoid getting ripped off by these clowns.
Thank you Doug’s for picking up my car! In the middle of no where w no definitive address! In the rain!! And wo me being there!! The 1st tow truck service i called told me to call them back later to see if their guys would be around. But Doug’s responded immediately, and I appreciate it! And when they delivered my car to the predetermined auto shop, they texted me a pic to show me my car was safe and sound. It cost a fortune (weekend, after hours) but my car’s safe and therefore I can sleep soundly tonight!!

We had our car towed with this company, they were so unprofessional, rude & never at their business. The man who runs the business is VERY RUDE, always answering with attitude. These people are UNPROFESSIONAL DO NOT RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN.
24hr service and they close at 5? tried getting my truck out no one was there then I go in the next day they tell me the owner had to be there while I had already talked on the phone. Had truck and trailer to pick vehicle up, had title and license to prove guys says you could have stole it (while it being my dads) Up charged me to $980 because supposedly it’s been there for a week. Bad service they have and still try to up charge you without it being your fault. Trying to get money out of you for no damn reason

A great guy and a great business to deal with. I had several sheds that were in the woods that were next to impossible to move, but he made it happen. It was a pleasure to meet Doug and he has an eye for precision. He also supported my shed with more support than original from Leonard buildings. He made sure everything was straight and level to the T. Definitely experienced, and it shows. If you ever need a shed moved, this is the guy to call. He doesn't play around and will take care of your property and make sure it arrives in the new location safely. He also cares about animals and does large charity events with the Kids Path of authority CARE through the Tricky Ricky Memorial Ride. All around a good guy and great company to work with. 5 STARS for this service - The van I was driving blew a tire on I40 west on Saturday night at 8pm. I tried changing the tire but the previous shop had put the lugs on too tight and I couldn't get them to budge. I called Doug's and they sent someone out. He was there in 10 minutes. He was very helpful and had the old wheel off and the spare on in no time. He then followed us as we got back on I40 to make sure everything was OK. TOP NOTCH! Thanks Doug's for GREAT SERVICE!
I see a low of reviews listed here that Doug’s towing is fast and I’m curious if that’s because the drivers speed through the highways, cut people off, tailgate, and drive recklessly? Couldn’t get a plate number, but saw this driver on I-73 south just south of Greensboro- and he almost caused multiple accidents. Very unprofessional for a business that spends much of their time on the road.
I called Doug's late Friday night and asked when the he could tow my car to the dealership in Burlington. First off, it's worth noting that he answered the call at 6:30 on a Friday. Second, he picked up the car at 8am the next morning. Communication was great throughout. I have never had a more responsive person help me with care trouble - thank you, Doug!!
My husband was in an awful accident involving a tractor. He was in the tractor. Dougs 24 hr towing was quick prompt and polite. It was a police rotation call we had no choice in dougs towing. Honestly, it was a very good experience with them with no issues im glad they were on call. The guy who picked up the tractor was very sweet, understanding and calm amidst all of the chaos. He helped guide me through the process and consulted with Doug the owner with any questions i had and he could not answer. I would definitely recommend dougs towing for towing services.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I originally had it lined up for other another company to move THREE buildings and they bailed on me. Doug came to the rescue. He was able to get the job done the same day of me calling. This is unheard of with most companies. He was able to move all three buildings for me in one day. Highly recommend! Thanks again Doug!
Please avoid this Doug guy. Completely unreliable and rude. My car was stuck there a whole week because this "24 hour business" NEVER has anyone in the office. I sat in their parking lot for hours at a time while waiting on this guys ONE driver or one of his family members have time to come by and assist. I had to pay 35 dollars a day even though it wasn't any fault of mine that there was no one at his office at any time of the day at this "24 hour business". Be careful with people like this guy. All he wants is your money and will keep your car until he gets as many fees added to your bill as possible.... Also, he will charge you, or at least try to charge you for him just to open the gate...
My tire blew on 85 and I was stranded no spare and alone!! I was referred to Doug's Towing and I am so glad I was.
From the moment he answered the phone he was so professional and courteous. I was quite a ways from the tire company and home. I am not the best at directions (I am more of a landmark person lol) and he was extremely patient with me I sent him a picture from my Google maps he messaged right back and was on his way. Doug arrived quickly, He was supernice took care of my car got it loaded got it to the tire company I can't thank him enough. I definitely recommend Doug's!!

Doug was prompt in answering my text about moving a storage shed from my home in Liberty to my son's in Ramseur. Very professional. Ok folks, this is probably new but I had a 25 foot steel bridge that washed out at my house. I searched far and wide for someone to help reset the bridge. Many people came and looked at the bridge and promised to return but never did. I took a chance and contacted Doug. He came to my residence, looked at the bridge and said he would do the best to help me. He arrived on time and I am pleased to announce that my bridge is up again. Normally you call a tow company and they arrive 1-2 hours late. NOT Doug's. from the moment he answered the phone till he was leaving with my vehicle was 15 minutes. it was so FAST and EASY, that I have saved their number should I or someone I know need a tow!! Exceptional service!!! Wish somebody told me about them years ago!!! Wosh I could give more than 5 stars
Doug was extremely helpful. He looked at under the hood of my car and could tell me what was wrong, as well as let me know a cheaper alternative to replacing the part entirely. He was polite and nice on the ride as he was towing my car, and he even helped me find a maintenance place to take my car since I didn't know the area that well. Overall, it was a good experience despite my car breaking down.
