Corporate. Corrupt. Copart. That should be their motto. The employees stand behind the insane appointment process, coparts unfair fees, and Coparts seller based policies. The "customer service" was less than lacking at this location to put it lightly. I drove 4 hours with truck and trailer to pay for and pick up a won unit. Walked in the door, was greeted, and told they would be with me shortly. Someone helped me within 2 minutes. I brought my jump box and small tire inflator but was told they don't allow any equipment to be brought on premises. Proceeded to tell me they would lend me a jump box. 😑 alright. Went to view the vehicle I had come to pay for to ensure it did run, check the tires, underbody, etc. to ensure it would get on a trailer. Returned inside to pay with a cashier's check. I asked a lady (over at the small office space to the right as you walk in from the yard) what I needed to do to pick up a won vehicle. She asked if I had an appointment and then directed me to scan the QR code on the door for an appointment. I thought this was kinda wild since I was standing there in the flesh. Can't I just be logged in manually, or why was I not informed of this before coming? Next, I was told the vehicle has to be paid for before I can make an appointment by another girl working on the floor. (This can't be real, is this Black Mirror in real life?). I ended up having to wait about 15 minutes for my account information to be relayed to a manager tucked away in an office after handing over my check. After being charged $1100 over six separate fees, raising my $6200 bid to $7300 total, I then had to pay another $20 fee just to pay in person (🤯 say whaaa). Fine, handed over $20 in cash. Pure nonsense. Obviously, this is all about money, surprise surprise. Next, I told the young lady helping me that I would like the vehicle driven out. She said okay, then went to relay to the ladies in the small office by the yard door (this must be their dispatch office). The lady behind the door frame was not at all going to allow my vehicle that I just purchased to be driven out. Allegedly becasue she couldn't have her guys stop what they were doing to drive the vehicle out. She said, "we don't work on cars here." Even though this was simply over one flat driver front tire. Now, if you remember, I brought my tire inflator, which I could have used while I was out in the yard, but was not allowed. This is the point where I was yelled at by said lady behind the door frame that decide to show her face while yelling at me (obviosly has more issues than the one I presented to her this day) "WE DON'T WORK ON VEHICLES ITS GETTING FORKED OUT!". I should have contained myself but yelled back, "THEN DRIVE IT OUT WITH A FLAT TIRE!". Some banter occurred. Shortly after that, the manager came out from his office. I had spoken with him briefly before entering the yard, so I got his attention again and proceeded to chat about the situation at hand. I almost had a good experience, but that came crashing down as I became more unraveled about the ridiculous policies and the fact they were not necessarily willing to help a paying customer. He told me he would get the vehicle out to me without forks and told me to leave the office. I did just that. Went to cool down, returned to the pickup section of the yard about 15 minutes later, and my vehicle was there. The pickup yard is about the size of a baseball field. Car haulers can't even turn around in there. I loaded up and got the heck out of there. I didn't get any names because I wasn't trying to be a Chad about it, but I did make it known I was very unhappy before being told to leave. I believe I was treated quite rudly for being a cash paying customer. Copart is the emitome of a corporate cash cow that only cares about the metrics (aka the amount of money going into their pockets). For all you people working for this company, just know you are just a number to them, and they do not care about you. Also, if you hate your job, you should seek another employer instead of taking it out on customers.

THIEVES don't let your car be brought. My car was towed here from another location after being stolen. I saw the car before being taken here and all my stuff was still in it. Come to get my plates and ALL my stuff was gone even the paperwork in the glove compartment. They of course couldn't find it and blamed the other tow truck company. What's even worse is there's another review here complaining of the same thing!!!! I got robbed twice.
