Parking for Seneca Mills Falls in
Penn Yan (NY)

Keoka "Q-ka" Lake Outlet Trail is a diamond in the rough. Lots of history here. Over 40 mills on these falls back in the day. The falls are beautiful, and if only history could tell its stories. There are plenty of eateries in Penn Yan when you get finished up. Parker's Grill hit the spot for us.

Small parking lot, but it's fine to walk the short walk up to the falls.

Easy 1/2 mile out and back trail. Waterfall was pretty. Water is currently really high.

The trail was well-maintained, not too muddy and had great views. The waterfalls were amazing.

Great location. Only a 10 minute hike from the falls. Definitely a must do.

Really nice trail along the Keuka outlet. Trail is wide and smooth. Trail runs from Penn Yan to Dresden, but with parking areas along the way you can do segments. I went from Seneca Mills to Cascade Mills and back and found it enjoyable. would like to go back with two cars and do end to end

Loved this quick excursion. Walked along the river, and seen 2 beaver dens.

I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. However, if you are in the area, it is worthwhile to spend half an hour to see the Falls. It's a short hike, about 5 minutes on a flat gravel road to the falls. There are a couple of benches you can sit to take in the sight.

Seneca Falls easy hike to get to and explore. Cascade Falls a little longer of hike, but still easy to get to.

Good spot for both Cascade and Seneca Falls, but Cascade has a separate parking too, in case you don't want to do the mile long walk.

Pretty decent sized parking lot. One pretty unclean porta-potty on site

Easy straight in parking. Went in mid October so there were enough spaces.

Hidden gem!! Me and LOKI LOVED IT

This is a nice spot to just do half of the Outlet Trail if you have young kids. The parking lot is very nice with a Porta John. It is an easy .25 miles back to the falls. We then turned back and headed on down to Seneca, where we grabbed lunch before heading back in a torrential downpour.

Very flat trails. No swimming permitted. Plenty of parking.

This was a great spot to park and we were close to the falls and right on the trail. Spot a pot restroom at this particular spot as well.

Very pretty and easy hiking trail for those of us who might struggle with all the gorge trails and their hundreds of foot elevation changes. LOL the waterfall at the old mill is very pretty with some nice picnic benches and places to sit in the sun and the shade.

Easy trails with awesome views of the waterfalls

Stopped down to see what the rocks were like at the waters edge (rockhounding) was impressed for the few minutes we could spare passing through. Definitely will make a stop out here just for their trail! Edit: took 4 adults and spent like 4 hours here, found some really cool stuff.

A smaller parking area along the Keuka outlet trail. This is one of several parking lots along the trail. Parking lot holds a dozen or so vehicles.

Great easy trail. We started from the Dresden trail head to hike to the Cascade Mills Falls and returned. We clocked 4.8 miles. A shorter hike would be from the Hopeton Road Access which is about one mile away and about 2 miles round trip. For the Seneca Mills Falls, the Seneca Mills Access on the Outlet Road places you about a half mile away. The Seneca Mills Falls is greater than the Cascade Mills Falls, especially right now with all the rainfall.

If you are looking for a short or long hike this is the spot. We enjoyed the hike to falls in both directions.
